My first visit here. Greeted by a fat grey mouse running across my feet as I walked in the store. Alright...it's a hardware store...mouse gotta live too right?!? But...The restroom was atrocious. At 6:30AM it looks as if someone ripped open ten trash bags of used soiled toilet paper and paper towels and even a diaper and just dumped it all around the restroom. I came back 10 minuets later I asked the worker Matthew who worked there at the self cash register that I was looking for my receipt he said he saw me leave and than just threw it in the trash can, he said he couldn't get me a copy. he said that he saw me leave but he didn't have consideration to ask me if I wanted my receipt instead just threw it away. Went rug shopping at Lowe's and got assisted by a great salesman, Richard Martinez. My wife and I were debating a particular 8 by 10 area rug and Richard asked if he could assist. In the next twenty minutes, he had offered options, answered all of our questions, picked up the rolled, plastic wrapped rug, carried it to the register and then to my truck! Went into this location today. My friend was going to get 6 big bags of soil. There were four associates standing around, putting wet rags on their heads. My friend and I are in our mid sixties. We ask them where we could get a flat cart, they pointed us to the other side of the store without offering to help us. He got a flat cart loaded up the six bags and spent 200.00 here. The three young men and one female had merchandising team on thier vests. Lowe's knows all right, how to piss off customers and make us go to Home Depot. read more

I'm really upset I just talked to a lady in appliances 9:50 am today and she just told me bcs the installation is free she can not do anything about the guy that just drop off the washer and dryer, left them in their boxes and took off bcs of liability . He couldn't wait for us to move a table with a microwave while my husband was next to him.? Idk (i was in bed and my husband is shy ) She was like arguing with me with a horrible actitud telling me that installation is for free that I didn't pay for it? So what ? I can't have if bcs is free. Now my husband is installing it waisting all his morning on something that was part of the deal. Free delivery and installation is part of the deal and is not write her actitud we spent almost 2,000 so installation wasn't free and we had the right to it. That is not the attitude. Wow! Horrible experience. Went to Lowe's on Magnolia in Riverside on May 10, 2024, to shop and purchase a new dishwasher. Found the one that we wanted and paid cash, also paid for necessary hose line and installation, another $159 after three weeks and still no dishwasher we kept calling to see when it would arrive. Nobody had an answer, most of the time were placed on hold and it just never got answered. Finally, a third-party installer contacted us, 3 1/2 weeks after we ordered it, to arrange for installation, we were given a time frame of 12:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon. At 3:05 I received a phone call from a woman saying that she was calling for the installers. She said that they were going to have to postpone installation because the installer opened my package and realized the dishwasher was damaged. I said "that's very strange that an installer would open my package out of my presence to inspect my dishwasher, it sounds to me like something shady is going on". She said that they were going to go ahead and put in an order for a new dishwasher to be ordered at which point I said no do not. I don't want it. The next day I received the exact same phone call and this woman also tried to re-order the dishwasher at which time I told her I do not want it. Do not order it. The following day, my husband went to Lowe's and spoke to Jay , who works in appliances, and explained the situation. Jay said that there was no damage to the dishwasher and actually took my husband to the back and showed him our dishwasher sitting there in a box with our name label on it undamaged. We let him know that they are being scammed by their installers and they need to find new ones. It seems every time I go there. Their sales associates are always chatting amongst themselves, and they forget that the customers right there waiting in line. I went to the garden section this afternoon, and Cecilia and Lorenzo were just chatting away and not really paying attention to only two customers talking about tattoos on the arms and what have you. It's too bad because it used to be one of my favorite stores. I went to Lowe's to buy wall air fryer. I went to the back where the oven wear there was nobody there and I found two young men sitting at a desk finally and they're in where the ovens were and I asked them if they can help me and they said they worked in the garden which I don't know why they were sitting at the desk, or the ovens were so they called somebody nobody came so we went to the front desk and the girl helped us there and she told us we bought their kit delivery installation would be free and would be $50 to haul the way our old oven so we said OK well the delivery guy showed up dropped my oven in my front room left didn't bring the installation kit. He said another guy would come and install it. We waited around. No one showed I called and called. They gave me the runaround. Finally a manager said the girl was wrong that it wasn't free installation on ovens and we had to pay 180 to have it installed, for meanwhile, my husband installed it and he went by himself a hoist with the money he would've gave to Lowe's don't deal with them they go through third-party you don't know who's delivering and you don't know who's doing the installing go to Home Depot Way better business they lost my business over $180 Michelle I love my Frigidaire wall oven but buy it somewhere else read more

This company has the worst customer service policies I have ever experienced. I was consistently given wrong information by the Riverside store as well as their corporate headquarters. No one seems to know what's going on. Employees are not knowledgeable regarding store or company policy. I was so enraged I ended up throwing the in-house gift card on the floor, swearing and walking out. I will never step into another Lowe's store. I know that for the most part home improvement stores no longer provide the service they used to, but I can't not mention a very special and super attentive supervisor at the Riverside Lowe's. Mo (I'm sure it's short for morrific ) After a horrible customer service experience at the Mira Loma Lowe's, Mo restored my faith in humanity. Not so much in Lowe's because their corporate office is also not customer friendly. I was at the point were I swore I would NEVER go back to any Lowe's and Mo was my last resort. Mo was attentive, listened to my problem, (which was a lemon refrigerator.) I was never told I had 30 day to return. I won't bore you with the silly details and horrible customer service at the Mira Loma Lowe's, except that I will definitely not return there. I don't want to take away from the great, human service Mo provides! Thank you Mo! I absolutely appreciate you! I'm sure you were just born with customer empathy. Lowe's Delivery is the worse, they deliver my appliances all damage and broken. And they refuse to replace or refund me because its more than 48hrs of delivery. Their delivery people didn't open it or remove the package, didn't mention to us the expiry date. Because of the holiday, we didn't have the time to open it also until 5days later. Now I'm stuck with this broken oven! For sure this store will soon be bankrupt because nobody will trust to buy with them anymore. Tried making a payment at a register. Something I have done often. One would think if you were going to the Pro Center to make a payment as well as make a purchase they would have someone there who is capable of doing it. Wrong Lauren was no help she just had this lost puppy look on her face. At this point I was not comfortable making a payment or even asking for her help. I did anyway, she pushed a button on the register and said "swipe your card" I should have walked away at that moment, I've never had to swipe my card. Surprise it didn't go through she said "it's not working right now" okay fine. I proceeded, why I'm not sure maybe a little hope? "I would like to purchase these items" here comes Brianna, "oh you have to go to a register to do that" I could have sworn I was at a register?? Brianna "no one of those, down there we don't do that here" it's the Pro area how is that?? Breanna proceeds to wave her hand and say go down there. Very rude people mind you it was slow on a Monday no one in site. I proceeded to the self check out and Brian happened to let us know a register will be available. I informed him I would need a item from the lock up area and the Pro area was no help he asked who it was. I said Brianna "oh yeah sorry about that, she can be a little extra." I was at Lowes early this morning to purchase lumber and to have it cut to specifications. I was surprised how Lowes looked like a ghost town. A young man named Eddie then shows up with his cherry smile, polite, and upbeat demeanor. He cut the lumber to my precise instructions and told me to have a good day while some other guy was trying to tell him, "They need a forklift over there". What a delightful young man. He helps without making one feel like a burden. I hope Lowes realizes this young man is an asset. Seeing how most of the Lowes reviews are tanking, they should take special care of this young man. I went to Lowe's yesterday morning to pick up plywood. The staff were all so friendly. I didn't have to wait around like their competitor store (Home Depot). I initially went to Home Depot off of McKinley and walked the aisles trying to find an employee! I left very frustrated and decided to go to Lowe's. I'm glad I did. I needed to have plywood cut and their saw was not working. The employees told me that the Corona location off of Magnolia had the saw working.
