Let me start by saying I always go to Lowe's before any other like store and I avoid the orange store at all cost bec the staff are bunched up talking until they see a customer then they run like roaches. Lowes staff are almost always friendly and helpful and ask you if they can help. This particular trip to Ohio for a move out/move in, I decided to remodel the last bathroom to do. I found my contractor and we discussed I'd be buying from lowes as ALWAYS! and would wait a few days before I go there to order stuff. He was worried that if I waited we might not have everything when we need bec we are on a time crunch of starting June 12 and ending before the 23rd for the new tenant. I live in California now. So we decided I'd order and he'd drive from Lakeside (an hour and a half ONE WAY) to pick it up. Lowes sent me daily text and email telling me to pick items up and I would call them and ask to hold it all and when it is ALL in he'd go get it so it's only one trip. The young lady never gave me her name, but informed me every call that she knew and the manager approved. That service got them a 5 star. Thank you. But I got a call from a different girl on the May 8th telling me everything was there and needed to be picked up, I explained the situation and asked her if she was sure it was all there, she said yes. The contractor sent one of his guys that was in the area to pick it all up on the 9th. The young man that picked it up, TRUSTED LOWES was giving him the whole order. The young man took it to my storage. I flew in and discovered on June 10th that the shower faucet set is missing and 18 pcs of tile. I contacted the contractor bec I thought it would be better the young man to go in and see the lowes employee he dealt with so he could get the missing stuff. As of today, the 16th, I was told they are not taking care of it. I reordered the shower set and now it's not going to be here until the 21st!!!! Putting us waaaaay behind. I'm so disappointed and unhappy with the way this is all going after spending thousands of dollars at Lowe's and doing that on the regular. I've remodeled 4 kitchens with lowes and planning on doing several more, in fact I stopped in to see Elsa to extend my black kitchen cabinets into my dining room on my 2nd day of landing here. So yesterday my contractor pointed out that the shower pan box has already been opened and when we pulled it out, it has damage. It was obviously a return that got put right back on the shelf. My contractor called Lowe's to exchange and they said they had none in stock. On his way home he decided to go ahead and just stop and looked and he found 2!!! Another damaged one and the one he had them pull down from above rafter and it was good so he bought it. Now I have to return a shower pan and I have no car bec this wasn't part of my plans. I am so disappointed this whole purchase was a mess and I am holding Lowes responsible for it. I get it's hard to get people to work now-a-days and care, but we have got to do better people! I've bought a shower set for $210 twice and do not have one in my hands, paid for 18 pcs of tile that we did not get, and have a damaged pan to return. We haven't opened the shower glass doors yet so praying those are good!!!! I will be going into talk to the manager with hopes of this situation being corrected. Please check your cameras at the front desk where he was given the items and see for yourself that he did not get them on May 9th. I will be changing this star :-) So far so good...I went in and talked to the manager and she was awesome!!! She did not push me aside or refuse to do anything. Instead she went above and beyond for me like I hoped! Missing tiles were taken care of and she's looking at the camera to get the facts on the shower faucet before she refunds me for one of them. I have positive vibes this is going from a bad review to an excellent one!!!! Thank you, Allison! I appreciate that you did everything to give me EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I appreciate you taking care of me and seeing to it that I get my money back on the faucet. I know it was very time consuming to view the video recordings during a time of being busy and understaffed. Thank you sooooo much! I just moved onto a new house and loaded up a cart with several necessary items. After going to checkout I was absolutely floored to discover there was not one checkout lane that was not self service. All four self service checkouts were understandably slow with one employee standing guard to ensure nothing was stolen. Several people, including myself, were confused and visibly agitated to find out they were required to inefficiently do the work that Lowe's has hoisted upon its customers to save a few bucks. This was a good Lowe's once but this store is starting to go down the tubes. They delivered a new Maytag dryer to me this week that had all kinds of issues. Two things that I found out was that the wiring from the adapter was not harnessed properly and the vent disconnected from it (or was not properly connected at all) by the delivery/installation people. And the time window for delivery fluctuated more than once. It was originally from 4-8PM, then 7-9PM then they called me just before 6PM as I was out running errands to tell me that they were at my house already. Initial calls to the appliance department were handled by a slow and crusty old guy. But slow and crusty old guys can be found working at any Lowe's or Home Depot location anyway. These guys should stay retired and out of the work force, they are a huge detriment to proper customer service. read more

Last year I bought a Harbor Breeze fan here for $225. Nice fan until the blade arm broke. Went to see about a replacement and waited 20 minutes in the fan isle after I told cashier I needed assistance. At that point I started opening boxes of fans, a bit childish, but it got the attention of someone who was coming off break. I doubt she would have even cared if I wasn't opening boxes. She got Rick to help me figure out the obvious, that they don't sell those in the store, and he would need a model number off the fan. After call customer service, that piece is part of the motor housing which isn't a replacement part, and I would have to buy an all new fan for a 50 cent part. See you at Home Depot! read more

Ordered a new fridge and gas range with the Labor Day financing deal of 24 months same as cash, had no contact on when it would be delivered. Went on line to my Lowe's account and found somehow my financing had been changed to a 5% off sale price instead of the 2 years same as cash. Called customer service and was told the could correct it but my delivery would be postponed as the would need to cancel my whole order and then redo it. They advise I just keep it until delivery and then come into the store for an adjustment. I refused as once I excepted the delivery, I would also be excepting the terms. I ask her to go ahead and cancel and redo the sale.... shockingly she could not give me the financing deal. It was no longer available. I asked to talk to someone who could address this issue, this is a classic bait and switch. She stated her, she was corporate, if I wanted to put in a complaint she could. I told her to cancel all the sales until my original financing was reinstated. She stated someone would call me in 24 hours. It is now 48, no call. This appears predatory. I will be contacting the Attorney General's office. I wonder how many other people experienced the same thing? read more

Ordered a Washer from online. It was the Memorial Day day 2022. Received email updates and I was excited. Come the day of the delivery I received a email and a call the order was delayed. I had a window 8am-4pm. Then it changed. I received a call from driver his truck broke down. I then get a call from Lowes to reschedule. On the second day the same thing happened except no call from Lowes. It's Sunday and the driver call me at 807pm stating his truck broke down, he had to wall and get gas, then the truck broke down again. He offer to come an deliver at 11pm. Seriously, I said no thank you. He promised Lowes would call me. No one called so I called at 7 am. I got the run around until 918am. I was told my machine would not be delivered and she cannot guarantee next delivery date. I calmly told her to cancel the delivery. I called Lowes and the rep was apologetic. I let her know there delivery service needs to get it together. My money was refunded in a timely manner, 24 hours. Be careful when dealing with Lowes delivery. Review is a big negative 1. read more

I love this Lowes it's always clean and the staff is great! They are not understaffed either which is very helpful being a mom on the go! You need their opinion? No problem, they have specialists in every department. Get 5% off everyday with the Lowes credit card or special financing 6,12,24 or more months on purchases that qualify. This helped us tremendously when we needed to buy a riding mower or any expensive power tools over $200! It allowed us to get 6mo free financing for 6 mo if paid in full or normal apr kicks in which is a GREAT DEAL if you ask any major credit card to do that, well most just don't do that. Also I want to not that the options here are really decent and reasonable ! They say if you go Home Depot you never go anyway again. For me I will always be a Lowes girl for the very reason that on two occasions Home Depot has had to price match Lowes bc they were more expensive than Lowes. Nuff said. read more

As a woman I am somewhat intimidated when having to shop there, but most of the time the clerks are very helpful and spend time explaining things and sharing information. But about 10 percent of the time I get an older man over 55 who is impatient and hurried. Acts like I am wasting his time. On Superbowl Sunday 2018, the cabinet sales clerk was not in his department, was probably somewhere else watching the game. I asked another clerk who walked by for help. He said the're in the back but I will let them know you need help. I waited for 5 minutes and then I heard someone shouting at me from a distance but could not see where they were. He kept repeating over and over "Ma'am can I help you" This went on for 3 or 4 minutes until suddenly someone is behind me and I turned around. I said I can't see where you are if you are calling from 30 feet behind me. He did not apologized. Just seemed real impatient. Said he didn't have what I was looking for and off he ran into the back room. Wasn't interested in giving me customer service that day. Sorry, some customers shop during the Superbowl to avoid crowds. You should still do your job. read more

Went in to inquire about carpeting, a LOT of carpeting for our church. There were no employees to talk to. One woman at a desk pointed to where the carpeting was located but could not bother herself to get up and walk the 20 feet to help otherwise. This isn't the first time I could not receive help (the last time was a refrigerator). The cashiers are usually very nice but the floor staff are either absent or very poorly trained. Customer service is almost nonexistent. I left in disgust and wont be back. read more

I ordered a new screen door from the Lowes in Streetsboro back in early December. All went well with the order except when it came time for the installation. It was originally scheduled for December 18th, but cancelled because of rainy weather. We received no update as to another installation date until I called them on January 2nd. The door was finally installed on January 8th....but what a disaster. The installation left everything here, including the box that held the screen door, even though it was evident that it was trash day here with all of the other stuff at the curb. We had a visitor the next door who discovered several screws on the ground just outside the door. We're hoping that it's not something that the door needs to stay intact! read more

I love the people on the floor - very nice and helpful. Honestly today was the first time I was disappointed. The disappointment came on the check out. I went to the normal line and due to an issue I was sent to the service desk. This was fine except the woman at the service desk was frustrated I was sent there and didn't understand why.... even though I explained the situation. I work in retail and regardless what she thinks she shouldn't express it. Then she rang up my item and it was double the price listed. When I inquired her response was people sometimes put things in the wrong spot and she wasn't blaming me. That was it........... I did go back to the area and there was a box full of product in the wrong spot.... this was not my issue rather Lowe's issue. Don't get me wrong I will pay what is correct.
