I went here after being disappointed with Home Depot down the street only to find the same problems. Packages have been used or are missing parts when you get home. If you like paying full price for used items that may be missing hardware shop here. I am not returning until they start putting stickers on things indicating they have been opened and returned. Even Amazon states "open box" on items or "used"- this is why we all shop online. read more

This was a gift from my wife for Father's day. We got it the first week of June 2020 and used it for the first time on the second weekend of June 2020. The first time was marvelous. It heats up pretty quickly, food was perfectly cook and juice. The second time I used it was for the actual Father's day weekend. I cleaned the grill, and the cooked chicken breasts, burgers, and ribs. Everything was ok until I opened the grill to turn the meat over. At that moment the fire started to come out from the base of the grill, the ash pan, and the entire body of the grill started to be on fire, and the paint melting and falling down over my patio terrace's floor. I have to use a water hose to put the fire off. Terrible and terrifying experience. Not sure why this happened, but it happened, so my advice to everyone is to be very careful here, I had just some of the hair in my legs burned but it could have been worse. I then was looking for a Lowe's store (we got it from there) and checked online and found this store in 3580 Peachtree Pkwy, Suwanee, GA store to have some in-store. Just to double-check, I chatted with some Lowe's assistant on-line for this person to check what I found. He first was looking at a different location, then I asked him to look for a place where I can exchange the grill, and then he quickly said they were out of stock and he ended the chat without letting me ask some other questions I had (this was on 07/18/2020). So I assumed that Lowe's site should be accurate and I drove the 45 minutes from my home to this store after loading this grill in my car. I got there, I said that I want an exchange, and to my surprise, they told me they didn't have any, I said that I checked on-line and there were some in-store, so they call someone else, and I explained everything again to this person, and then he told they were out of stock. Then someone else came and said that I have to contact the manufacturer and they will deal with the issue and help me, I said no, I wanted to deal with the store from where I got this product and then he said I have to take it back to the store where I got the grill from and I asked why if Lowe's accepts returns in all their stores. At that point, he turned his back on me and walked away. I returned it, wanted to post this in Lowe's site, but I couldn't since they accept calls only, so doing it here. With everything going on these days, having to drive 90 minutes to this store, expose me and my wife to open environments, and deal with people that are not willing to help, that was totally unacceptable. Purchased a fence from Lowes Johns Creek #0710 the first week of November. I was not told how long the wait for materials would be, only that they were "special order." I did not hear from the store for 7 weeks. When I did, I was told the materials were in, and I would need to wait to be contacted by the installer (Hercules) for an installation date. That date was January 10th, over two months from my purchase. When the installer arrived, work was efficient and speedy until the crew discovered that Lowes had shipped 20% of the correct fencing and 80% incorrect materials. They left, having installed 20% of the fence, with no information about a completion schedule. I had to contact Lowes for information. I was told I would have to wait for a "special order." No date was given. I called the store 2 weeks later for information. There was none. 3 weeks later, I received a call from the "Production Office" informing me that my fencing materials were in, and I would need to wait to be contacted by the installer on Monday. I called the installer after 11am on Monday, and was told I'd need to wait til Tuesday. On Tuesday, I received a call from the installer informing me that the earliest I could have the fence is 10 days from now--BUT--I need to "understand" that weather or the flu may push my date. In that case, "would the 22nd of February be okay??" Not if I want to be present for the installation...I have a job, you see. So, if you want the lowest price on custom installation, buy it from Lowes. If you want your project completed within the same season of the year you PAY for it, and you want scheduling accountability, without two middlemen using each other as excuses for the lack thereof, DON'T BUY FROM LOWES. read more

It's frustrating when you confirm with one person that they price match with amazon. I spent 40 mins debating which compressor to purchase, only to find out at the end that they actually do not price match with amazon. I was hoping that they would try a little harder and at least offer some type of discount considering what I was previously told.... there was no effort on their part so I decided to take my business to Home Depot. Shame! Shame on you Lowe's! I went to get the family military discount that Lowes advertised, mylowe's program. I was first denied because my son and I don't have the same last name. I had to bring his birth certificates to show proof that he is my son. Then speaking with their corporate office a gentleman said that only immediate family gets the discount.??? The last time i checked i was his immediate family member. The gentleman on the phone said immediate family member are spouses ONLY! I asked when did this policy changed? His respond was TODAY! I went to this Lowe's to buy a water heater, because they had a well-rated model and are on my way home from work. Because I needed an expansion tank to be installed, I purchased that as well. When the contractor showed up with my water heater to install, he said that morning Lowe's had sold all of the expansion tanks they had in stock, including the one I'd already paid for! So that meant I had to stay home from work a second time to have the contractor install it. Also, the contractor they used was horrible. They had to come out 4 times to make repairs and fix shoddy workmanship. (Gas leak, water leak, almost broke the water inlet for my whole house, and generally sloppy work.) There are other home improvement stores around, so I won't be returning to this Lowe's. read more

I had gotten a quote for flooring good through today. Of course, when I got there to sign a contract, this snarky kid told me that my flooring would be $800.00 more; when I pointed out the difference; I was treated to 30 minutes of sarcasm & insults. When I asked to speak to the manager, he started mocking everything I said. Thank God that Rohan arrived and sent the kid away. He corrected everything and apologized like a true professional. If not for Rohan, I would have taken my $4,000.00 purchase to the orange company. read more

WE ARE NO LONGER LOWE'S CUSTOMERS! After many years and purchases, I canceled our Lowe's credit card today. We purchased a new washing machine and dryer set. The delivery was wrong on the first attempt. So, 1 week later the delivery team arrived to make the delivery. When they arrived, they were efficient and polite. We were going out of town early the next morning and didn't check out our property for damage. When we returned we went to do a load of laundry and dropped our laundry on the floor in front of the washing machine. We noticed that there was a mark going across the floor. This was not a scratch but a zig zag gouge in the floor leading to where the washing machine sits in the laundry room closet. We went into the store to file a complaint. We followed all of the instructions given to us by various store managers. Even though we followed all instructions laid out by Lowe's and the delivery company, they refuse to take responsibility for the damage. We then disputed the findings of the delivery company as instructed by Lowe's and the delivery team. Two weeks later, we have not been contacted about our dispute. My wife sent a letter to Lowe's headquarters customer service without any response. This process has been taking place for over 2 months without any solution. The lesson learned here is take before and after pictures. Inspect everything with the delivery person before and after. After making many appliance purchases from Lowe's, we have stepped into our last Lowe's store. We will now be shopping at Home Depot for all of our household needs. read more

We've been shopping at this store since it opened years ago and the service has deteriorated to terrible. You have to beg for help and they often act like you are disturbing them. I wish there was a way to give them a "Zero!" Its been nothing but a hassle to buy appliances from this store. I had told Lowes when I placed my order that I needed delivery for a new place. Beware Lowes contracts with JB Hunt to deliver your appliances as a 3rd party contactor. JB hunt came to deliver my washer and dryer and were extremely unprofessional. They ruined my walls and laundry room door in a new home. The washer was damaged exteriorly and when I refused to take delivery, JB Hunt refused to wait for me to calI Lowes. JB hunt didn't bring my wash lines. They didn't install legs on my dryer. Lowes then sent out a new crew 2 days later and said they will swap my washer. I had to put in a claim with Lowe's for my damaged wall and door but Lowes says that it my responsibility to take it to JB Hunt!! Seriously ??? Lowes refuses to take responsibility for it !!!!!!!!!!! My dryers makes a whistling sound from day 1.......and lowes wants to send out a service tech.....shouldn't they just give me a new one with 30 day return policy??????? Its been nothing but a hassle to deal with them, innumerable trips to the store......the assistant store manager has still not followed up with me.......they clearly don't care about their customers. They will make your life very inconvenient.....Will never order any appliance from them ever again...My advise take your business somewhere else. read more

I am taking this complaint to social media because of the poor customer service my husband and I received in trying to pick up cabinets countertops and faucets that we purchased a few weeks ago. I called the store to be passed around six times in trying to get the items pulled to be ready for pickup. The last person finally told that I needed to come into the store and they couldn't do that for us. Upon arrival we spoke to customer service and they sent us to Plumbing. My husband approached Kris Royal and she very quickly dismissed him and tried to send him back to customer service. She barely looked up from shuffling paperwork when he tried to explain that customer service sent us to her department. Customer service said that Victor would be pulling our items all the while he was standing around. When I approached him, he was also very uninviting and seemed put. His demeanor was not pleasant whatsoever when I said we were there to pick up some items. He said, what items?! My husband handed him our receipt and Victor's response was, "You're irritated. I get it". My husband WAS irritated by the runaround and rudeness we we're treated by at this point and Victor took an attitude with him in turn instead of trying to calm the situation. Victor finally went to the back to pull our items. He then left the cart for ME to push to the front of the store and load with my husband. My husband very loudly stated, Aare you kidding me?! You are going to let my wife push that cart of heavy items up to the front of your store? Victor then took the cart and start pushing it to the front begrudgingly. I spoke to a store manager, Crystal about this and she was very kind but with all of the past experiences that we've had with Lowe's and the most unbelievably horrible customer service we will NEVER come back to LOWES. This is not the first, second or the third time we've had poor customer service AND WE STILL have given Lowes a chance BUT you have failed us over and over again. Horrible! One of the reasons we have also returned is because Lowe's honors a military discount. My husband is a Navy veteran and how dare your employees treat anybody, much less a veteran the way they have. They refused to sell an item which was on display when they had NONE of them in stock and NONE on order. The item is NOT available on Lowes.com and when other stores in the area were checked, none of them had the item aside from the display either. If it is a stores purpose to sell items to consumers yet they refuse to do so....what is the point of even being in business? Why have an item in display (clearly marked with a cost) if you don't have the item for sale? Why not sell the display item and if/when more come in, replace the display item with a new one? If this is their "policy" then it clearly needs to be changed! Seriously, who advertises an item for sale and not have it available? Oh, I know....stores that operate on the old "bait and switch" tactic. We walked out without falling for their scheme. I would suggest people do the same. There are 2 Home Depot stores within 5 minutes in either direction. They still care about customer service. read more

Had the best experience in the Appliance department with the manger Pat.... After visiting the Lawrenceville-Suwanee store with little to no help, we went to the Johns Creek store (after no help from Home Depot) to purchase a washer and dryer, which the Suwanee store said would take a week to 10 days to get. I showed Pat the photo of the set we where looking to purchase with the sale price, and he not only immediately honored the price, but, offered to deliver it within two days. He notice from the picture that the dates where wrong, but, still stood behind the add. No questions. We where surprised about the dates, but, where thankful to have the set delivered in a responsible time frame. THEN- the delivery crew was the best. My wife stayed home to meet them, they not only cleaned up the area, but, told my wife not to do anything and they would take care of it. THEY DID! I have built a stand for the front loaders instead of spending the extra $500 for a metal drawer, put it in place and did a fine job installing everything and hauling away the worn out set. They were polite and considerate. I would highly recommend them again. Pat started the process, We will go back to him again..... read more
