Purchased 4 of the low maintenance Zinnia's at their garden center. I have been unable to review the products I purchased June 7, 2026 on the app and website. Therefore, I am doing it this way. They did not perform well. 3 of the 4 are in terrible shape and one died. We followed the plant care instructions precisely, too. Every time I go here I get great service. I was a bit frustrated my previous Survey expired before I could leave feedback. I want to acknowledge 3 employees I always run into at this location and they go ABOVE AND BEYOND!! The wonderful lady in the glasses in the Flooring area. I'm ashamed I cannot remember her name, but she has help my Wife and I with our Stair project and recently our Porcelain flooring project we are getting ready to start. So much knowledge and a great asset to Lowes! Nick from Lumber! This guy has always been an extreme help no matter what department I needed assistance in, I always et a huge smile when I see Nick in the Aisle because I know he's got the answers or will take the time to help me find it! Lastly Eric from Lawn and Gardening (I think that's the departments name). Another great asset who takes the time to help out throughout that entire store. I spent lots on Riding Mower, Snow Blower, Pressure washer and so much more and he's always provided the Pro's and Cons on each item I have been interested in. Very poor customer service. We bought two trees from the Garden Center at Lowes in White Lake, MI and they had nothing to wrap the trees with so they could be transported. The employees just stand around and talk instead of checking people out, and act like it is an inconvenience to actually help you. Take your money to Bordines. They will actually wrap the trees you purchase in burlap, load the trees and treat you with respect and courtesy. read more

There are many home improvement stores that are pretty equidistant to my home. I always find myself at the White Lake Lowe's before anywhere else though. It doesn't seem quite as crowded and the staff here is super kind and helpful. 3 weeks ago I ordered a refrigerator from the Lowe's in White Lake, my sell person assured me that they would set my refrigerator up hook it up and they would take my old refrigerator and put it in my garage. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I came to sign a contract for a carpet purchase of $1,000. Andrea was getting the contract together but she kept saying she isn't familiar with this contract, it was not her department. She handed me the signature page only of a 13 page contract. I asked if I could see the rest of the contract and she became aggressive and irate. She grabbed the rest of the contract and slammed her fists on the table telling me I wasn't going to read all of this. Had a chainlink and privacy fence installed. Installation was okay, took longer than I was promised but they did get out before the snow fell. My low stars come from the return process. I was under the impression the excess material that wasn't used would be refunded to me. Today I was told that basically I ate the cost on 5 4x4's, couple 2x4, 2 metal posts and some dog ear fencing. The concrete was ruined because it took them over 2 weeks to pick up, but not worried about that, but the lumber is expensive, if I knew that I would of kept everything thing for future projects. My wife and I recently bought a house and we were looking to build a couple of benches that we could turn into a breakfast nook. We haven't ever done a project like this and we had a plan but we were first timers so we were a little unsure of ourselves. Scott in lumber came to the rescue! He helped us pick out all of the wood that we would need for the project and even cut it for us which was amazing!! It really felt like he was there to support and guide us through the process! We special ordered vinyl fencing on August 2, 2022 and it was due to arrive August 17, 2022. We were pleased when we were notified that it arrived 2 days early! Due to it being a large order, we had to make 2 trips to get the fencing home in our pick up truck. Had a WONDERFUL fulfillment associate (Brian) help us with checking the product before we took it and he helped us to load the fencing onto our truck. This place is weird. It is not laid out like either of the Lowe's in my town. They had trouble processing my Lowe's card at the checkout. They couldn't tell me why. When I checked my account later, it was fine. A real puzzler... During my visit there I had a old dude practically run into me and my aged mom. He was trying to get to something and just brushed by us without an "excuse me" or anything. Just rude. The sales associates at the paint counter, were very attentive and friendly. Yet, I witnessed another jackwad customer approach the counter with a plastic jug of deck cleaner (or some non-paint item) and demand that the lady put it in the paint shaker machine so he "wouldn't have to stir it with a stick". She wisely told him no. He acted like this was unreasonable. I don't imagine he would have stuck around to help clean up the mess it would have caused to this very expensive machine when the jug burst open. Finally, the M-59 location just doesn't seem like a terrifically safe place for my mom to go by herself. I advise anyone to take care on the roads and in the parking lots along this busy road. read more

I'm conflicted as to how this review should begin. My wife and I have compared several contractors to build a shadow box fence for our property. The fence would cover the back of our property and angle up along our property line, creating a privacy corner. May 11th our materials were delivered. The salesperson (up to that point) was responsive and seemed to be on it. The contractors came out a few days later to put the fence up but told us they couldn't bc they did not have enough room to erect the fence. After brainstorming we agreed that panels would be put up, preassembled, and installed by the beginning of June. It is now June 21 and our sales person hasn't returned our calls, texts, etc. It's disappointing because we have two little ones in our home, and two teens who are unable to enjoy their backyard. Oh did I mention the entire project was paid in advance? Also, the salesperson miscalculated our footage so we have still pay for the additional 20 feet of panel. That would be no problem however, he hasn't given a call back, text, email to show a price difference at all. I appreciated the friendliness of everyone involved however, in the end, We've paid for a project and it's been a six-week ordeal. At this point Lowe's, we just want our $5k back. read more

I have never had worse service. I ordered and paid for a fence installation in January. I was told it would be installed when the ground thawed. I'm still waiting. I spoke to management in person in May when I was told they couldn't install the fence bc my order hadn't arrived, even though they had the fence I ordered in stock in the store. I asked for a refund and they refused. Suddenly my order appeared and an installer was assigned in June. It's now July 13 and the permit has not even been applied for. But when an (add'l) associate came back to help, they went to help somebody that came after me. Poor attention to detail. ... But then! Upon receiving my dishwasher it was DAMAGED! so the installer could not put it in.... It only got worse after that... It took days even weeks to get another dishwasher and even then... they did not deliver it when they said they would, and left it on my front porch when I was not at home! So I called them to ask how I will get it into my house. Basically they said that was my problem. Well I'm single... So... I needed to find a nice neighbor to help me. Thanks Lowe's! ~ Still, Lowe's couldn't get straight if I had gotten a new one or not!!!.... Does anyone know what they are doing? (Uh, ... no) ... and when it came time for installation, they couldn't get that straight either. I've had so much confusion from this company I don't know how they stay in business. Also! After the manager & I had a conversation to try to make things better, he said he would give me a 10% discount in hopes this would accommodate for all the mishaps. Well, it's been 6 weeks since he made that promise ~ no refund received. I have been to Lowe's many times. I have to say that I have never had a bad expierence here. The staff here are usually pretty helpful, although I do think Home Depot has an edge in that respect. I do have to admit that a huge draw to Lowe's is their everyday discount for military and veterans! I have deep respect for any establishment that supports the military. read more

I call their fulfillment center and after a long pause the woman said the truck broke down and wasn't sure if I'd get my delivery or not!! She didn't ask my name or order number!! After her long pause and the way she said it i was sure she was lying! I don't get any calls or anything to reschedule!! I go to the store and they tell me my delivery is tomorrow. I show them my email confirmation for yesterday. Then they give me the ph# for the fulfillment center to change my delivery date!! I say nope and give me a refund. Asst mgr shaun comes out with an attitude no apology or anything! When i ask him why he's calling and not give me a refund. I get attitude like I'm messing up his day!! No apology or empathy whatsoever!! I never had such a crappy treatment and they act like they're doing me a favor after waiting ALL DAY FOR NOTHING!!! We ordered a new sliding door and the install through Lowe's. What we hoped to be a seamless process turned to be a complete fiasco. The stores has eliminated the installed sales department in return for disorganized installs. There is no one between you and your general contractor. Our install experience included lack of communication, late arrival, arrival without the door they were installing. They reschedued to mother's day weekend to again be 4 hours late then to complain it was a holiday weekend as if I wanted to spend my day waiting for them. Do yourself a favor and hire general contractors out of the yellow pages. It would be more affordable and probably less stressful. read more

Ordered 9ft 3-panel Pella doorwall with install and has been a comedy of errors by Lowes. First, installers call the day of install to tell me that they can't make it due to another project (after my wife takes a vacation day from work to be at the house), Second, the doorwall when the installers finally arrive is only 2-panels, not three.... so now I am waiting on a replacement for my replacement (going on plus two months after ordering the doorwall from this Lowes and I am still waiting), and now told that the corrected doorwall isn't even completed yet at Pella... I will never, ever, ever purchase an exterior installation or manufactured item from Lowes. I had to pick up just a few pieces of lumber for a project I'm working on and there were 7 employees standing around with one poor lady working the one register that was open and she was having issues trying to ring the people ahead of me. I stood there waiting (in the lumber area). And yes I counter 7 employees just standing around laughing and not paying any attention to the now 3 people waiting in line behind me. I go the extra half mile past Home Depot to go to Lowes. Lowes employees are very knowledgeable and friendly, when they first opened I gave them a try over Home Depot and I only go to Home Depot now if I they do not have what I am looking for at Lowes (which is seldom). I also love the way Lowes interior is painted and lighted so it is bright and inviting, it doesn't have that feeling of being in a dim cave, I think it makes me spend more money though, LOL. read more

I was in the store yesterday 5/18/21 an employee in hardware told me they no longer have to wear masks after tomorrow 5/19/21, she then proceeded to tell me she is not vaccinated because she is in her 70s and has had blood clots in the past and has heart issues so she doesn't care if she gets it and dies, I said don't you care about spreading it and killing someone else she then admitted to being a Trumpy (he is vaccinated) and not caring, well I care and even though I am vaccinated that is no guarantee against the variants that are out there and coming, its people like her that will create the "Next Wave" I think employees should have to wear a mask if they are not vaccinated or we will Never see an end to this, I would also like to take off the mask but not at the risk of getting a variance or spreading it and killing someone I know, or don't know, I am now a Lowes customer and so will any of my friends I tell about this and hopefully anyone who reads this post. read more

I like Lowes in general, but I'm finding myself at the White Lake location more often than the New Hudson store. The employees seem nicer, and more interested in helping. Admittedly, I'm the stereotypical "I'll wander for an hour before I ask someone" shopper, but when it came to buying a garage door opener and scheduling installation, it was really a pleasant experience. The person writing up the order knew his stuff backwards and forwards, the cashier was friendly, and after the job was done (quickly, and on time), I got a followup call from someone at the local store, making sure everything was done right, and that I was happy. Purchased so much here, and we just tried to exchange one dishwasher & they did not want to work with us at all. The store director refused to help. We weren't asking for return or a refund....just to work with us on a possible discount for a new one since the one they sold us turned out to be much worse than the 12 year old one it replaced. We WILL NEVER SPEND MONEY AT LOWES AGAIN!
