Issue unresolved. Dryer delivered and taken back because installation team can't disconnect washer purchased a year ago in order to get to the dryer outlet. I'm told because it's a pre-existing installation, it can't be reinstalled. Idiotic policy. read more

Overall, a pretty decent Lowe's location. I've been here a LOT over the past few weeks for some DIY projects. The women in the paint section were helpful. When I had to buy a washer/dryer, not a soul was to be found. I had to click the "call for assistance" button. Only took a few minutes for someone to come by. Ordered yesterday and was told the order would be ready the same day. Today I marked "on our way" in the app, arrived, and the app said the order was ready and would be brought out shortly. We waited over an hour and a half outside. Nothing came out. Finally went inside because we were tired of waiting. Come to find out, the order was not ready at all. No one had pulled it. No one knew where it was. Complete confusion and zero accountability. This is not a one-off customer issue. I order from Lowe's a lot for ongoing projects, and this experience was bad enough that I'm now reconsidering using Lowe's at all. If the app says an order is ready, it should actually be ready. At this point, Home Depot is looking like the better option. read more

Lowe's has never let me down. Today was looking to be a first. But, Jessie in Window Coverings saved the day! I was in the store to purchase a sliding glass door vertical blind. The last time I bought one was 5 years ago. Boy, have things changed in that amount of time. The selection is sparse compared to my last time. And the bargain bin generic Project Source blinds are dismal. Even the generic box they're packaged in says CHEAP! I know several people who swore at those blinds all the way back to Lowe's to return them. And the reviews back that up as well. Yeah, you get what you pay for, but I'd be ashamed to sell those. That's when I was offered assistance from a star employee. She must've seen the look of disdain on my face. Her name is Jessie. She's a hero! She listened intently to my needs then quickly made a solid recommendation. I took her advice willingly. And the choice was perfect. A very good vertical blind, custom cut at a fair price. I've been a customer of Lowe's since they first hit Florida. I Will POSITIVELY SAY that Jessie is THE BEST Lowe's Associate I've EVER dealt with. Period! Thank you so much, Jessie. read more

Overall, I like Lowes . . . it is essentially an upscale Home Depot with prices that are normally the same or lower (especially with their 5% discount when you use their credit card) but sometimes does not have the same selection of specialty items. I do NOT like their return policy but have never had a problem until recently but this store in Zephyrhills was great and provided great customer service unlike the one near Tampa Palms which did not make ANY effort to go out of their way to help a customer. I will be driving twice as far now to get to this Zephyrhills location from now on. read more

Lowe 's Is a very good place to spend time. The lighting section is divine. So is the plant section. I regularly buy flowers here and plant food. Very do it yourself . Hardware and stuff is also awesome. Great for Christmas too. read more

First time I've had a really good experience at a Lowe's. We are on a search for dishwashers, & right away the department expert was there to answer any questions that I had. This honestly has never happened at Lowes. I learned a lot for my initial research on this search and I was quite impressed. Lowes has a good selection of appliances, and it's nice how they also have cards to show the brand name with their family of appliance products. They have financing with low apr and delivery and installation. Of course there are fees for the delivery and installation. Now I know what they are. read more

Needed help loading a heavy item into my car, asked an associate, got ignored the first time, then finally someone tried to call over the intercom for someone to help and no one ever came. We bought a shed at their Zephyrhills store. It was delivered to us by the Brooksville store. When we opened the package it was evident that the shed-kit was used before as the top showed black mold stripes beside the new ones. i.e. it was re-packed. We claimed it through the Z-hills store where we bought it and they initiated that the Brooksville store send a truck to pick it up again. When we went 5 days later to the Zephyrhills store to finish the reclaim process they refused to do so and told us to go to the Brooksville store. Imagine if it was send via Fed-Ex etc, we might have to travel to CA for a refund !! Essentially they telling us, whatever you buy at our store in Z-hills they are not responsible for the merchandise/refund and have nothing to do with the merchandise if it is delivered to you via a different Lowe's store. read more

I have to keep my 5 star rating for this location. They have one of the nicest garden centers there is. They go out of their way to keep it spotlessly clean and they have more than adequate staff to help you when needed and they can answer many questions about plants. I especially like the unusual plants they have like the Florida grown specials. Today they had Guava and Olive trees for $10. read more

Came to buy a dryer and the one that I wanted was out of stock. He offered 1 other option and I told him that wouldn't work since a must I have is to be able to turn off the dryer signals. He didn't say anything else or try and give me other options that had the functionality I wanted. At the very least, helpful info from him would have been when they think they will have more in stock. He was totally uninterested in making a sale. read more

We purchased A washer and dryer, and a refrigerator and range. Yes it was pricey but replacements were necessary. It's been a stressful week as I've had to grapple with LOWES over installing our new appliances. First they wouldn't install the dryer because it needed a part. I got the part but they wouldn't install it. Next they said they couldn't loosen the older washer hose, but my son in law came over and loosened it by hand. Finally days later they put the new washer in. Only after I called them back and told them that it wasn't impossible to unscrew and was loose. They came with the refrigerator and the man pulled the old one out saw the water tube which was copper and said he wasn't allowed to remove it. I called Lowes and was told I had to get a licensed plumber. I asked, why they didn't tell me this, I am not an appliance expert, nor a mind reader. They plugged the new fridge into the dining room and left. I got the plumber and he did his job, then offered to remove the old fridge. His father came and the guys out of kindness hauled the old fridge and put the new fridge in the kitchen. Today, I climbed behind the dryer and installed the dryer part and hooked up the dryer myself. I will forget Lowes and move on from here, but I won't recommend them to anyone who is a woman who is weak because of being on chemo like I am, tired, and not a professional installation person. Although, I have tools which none of the men seemed to have. Thank goodness dad taught me how to use tools! I used to sit and watch him work with tools. Learn to use tools! Breathe and relax, enjoy what is happening that is positive, and don't use Lowes. It was a lot of money, highly stressful, the Lowes call center woman was excessively rude, and unhelpful. I felt they acted unethically, and it was unconscionable to leave anyone like they did. I was abandoned once the got their money. Shameful business practices earn them this review. read more

I stopped by today to pick up a few items I needed. Couldn't find everything I needed so decided to not buy anything. On my way out I passed by the contractor cashier, she was just standing there doing nothing. There were no customers in line and she had nothing to do. She couldn't be bothered to ask me if I found everything I needed nor did she bother to say thank you for stopping in. I know she saw me, she made eye contact. Apparently she viewed me as a pest. I have both personal and business revolving accounts there. I stopped favoring Lowes a few years back due to the lack of customer service. I believe it's time to close my accounts. It's clear they've cut back on staff leaving customers to fend for themselves. I ended up ordering everything I needed from Amazon. Quick and painless. This is a pretty standard massive Lowe's. They have everything the standard Lowe's has, and the salespeople are pretty easy to find and helpful. Their garden sales at the end of the season are my favorite, and because we visit pretty often, we happened to be around for a huge appliance sale with great discounts. Apparently this Lowe's is the one where they send the unwanted appliances for this kind of sale every so often. Got a drier and a fridge for 1400 dollars, both great brands and above and beyond what we expected for that price. read more

This is BIG compliment to the store manager Melissa Soulages ! A employee in the paint dept. sold me the wrong paint (3 gals) After a week I parked on the carport drive and paint started to peel off. I wanted to cry ! I took pictures and Melissa put my mind at ease. She personally walked me down the aisles and picked out everything I needed. Stripper, Etcher, rollers and 3 gal. of the correct concrete paint. Then she went one step further and reimbursed me for my wrong paint to help me offset paying my handyman again. Alot of work for him but now I know the job will be done right. Melissa wrote up the paperwork, I paid for nothing. Thank you Melissa for putting my anxiety at ease ! Three things I don't like three things about this store 1) you can NEVER find anyone to help you and if you do, they are not nice 2) they do not keep things in stock so you cannot count on things being there from week to week or month to mont. You can fall in love with something, like a brick that they get in, and next thing you know it's GONE. 3) there is never anyone available to help you outside with your things and we are elderly and need help . I have always gone to Lowe's, it's close to home and they always have exactly what I need. Yesterday July 4th I purchased 2 Boston Ferns and hooks to hang them on. I placed the hooks on the fern hanger in order not to forget to pay for them. As I went to the cashier I noticed he was a veteran and planned on thanking him for his service, however, his attitude quickly lead me to believe he was not happy working on a holiday ( dont blame him but oh well we have all done it). I noticed he scanned the hooks twice,said I owed him $ 6 and change, I said did you get the ferns? Yea he replied so I said they are $10 and change, you charged me for 2 sets of hooks and I have one and nothing for the ferns. He made a rude comment which was overheard by the customer in back of me, saying having those hooks on the ferns was completely unacceptable. I just looked at him and made no comment. Then I handed him a gift card to use that I received for mothers day, well that was an extra step I guess as he had to manually put in the numbers. I used my debit card to pay the remainder and was scolded for inserting it instead of swiping. I wanted to say something to this young veteran but decided against it. Today we stopped again to try to talk with a kitchen design expert- and AGAIN no one around- flipped switch to call for help- 20 minutes later still no one then a young salesman was sitting in a seat with customers so we sat down and waited another 10 minutes goes by and he ask us if we were waiting for someone- we explained what we wanted- he called for help was told no one there come back after 9am tomorrow. I told him this is the third time we have been here and only once was there anyone there- big design center just NO ONE that can do the work. They had big Labor day sale going on but no help of course- bad business planning- place was busy with lots of people trying to help themselves. Should have had extra help for holiday weekend and sale event- again bad planning on management part. I will go somewhere else- the LEAST they could have done was post a sign saying sorry no one is available at this time and state when there will be someone there!!!!!!! It showed me that they don't care if customers are waiting and waiting and not getting answers or help with their purchases or going somewhere else to shop. read more

We just bought a new refrigerator & a new freezer. The fridge was in stock & scheduled to deliver Sept 25th between 12-2pm. I was called the night before to verify delivery & the time frame which allowed my husband to be home for delivery. At 8:15am on the 25th, I received a call from the driver stating he was 30 minutes away. I explained that the delivery was scheduled for 12-2pm & I was at work. His reply was we are in your area now so I had to leave work to get home to receive delivery. I have tried to contact a manager but they refuse to pick up the phone. Now on to freezer delivery scheduled for Oct 7th between noon-4pm which realy did not work for us but we rearranged our schedule to be there. At 10:15am my husband received a call stating they were 30 minutes out which meant we could still make our other appointment. They did not show up until 1:30pm nor did the driver answer his phone when called to see where they were. When they showed up they stated the freezer was not on the truck so they had to go back to the warehouse to get it. Again tried contacting a manager & all the phone does is ring. We will be closing our accounts with Lowes & will find someone who actually wants our business. read more
