However today we're bought a bag of frozen salmon and when we thawed a few pieces to make for dinner it was spoiled. My wife has saved the receipt and I bagged the spoiled pieces and the remainder of the frozen pieces and brought it back to this location where we purchased it. Unfortunately my wife has thrown the over bag with the barcode on it away and has paid with her card. The cashier was unbelievably rude and advised me of having bought it elsewhere. Then claimed I hadn't bought that fish from them. Then because I didn't have my wife's card with me she also objected but then agreed to give me a store credit but in the meantime a manager has arrived and ultimately approved the refund but told me she didn't believe me. So this was a bad day in terms of Aldi being good to it's customer and I am very unhappy with how I was treated I did get the refund on a store gift card and bought other items so Also ended up with a bigger sale. And I will still shop with then because they are a great store but these team members need some serious coaching on how to resolve customer issues with courtesy and grace.

I had the pleasure of visiting Swank farms for an event to appreciate the process of farm to table…read moreeating with Slow Foods organization and let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I was by the whole evening. The venue was so pretty, it surpassed any of my expectations when I signed up for a farm to table dinner. The barn was beautifully decorated and organized, hosting 250 guests yet never felt packed. The stage area sits high so any seat is a good seat with a view of performers or speakers. Upon arrival we were greeted by the event organizer and by Swank's farm owner who told us a bit about the farm and their message about locally grown and sourced food. He also informed us about how they offer monthly produce bags, "Swank Sacks" delivered to Whole Foods Market who they partnered up with, where you can pick up your produce bag with items all grown at Swank farm, providing you a taste of some of the seasons flesh's and organic produce. The evening flew by while listening to the delightful sounds of live jazz and enjoying our carefully and deliciously prepared 5 course meal by all the amazing guest chefs that night. It was a fantastic experience and a pleasant way of learning to enjoy slow food as opposed to fast food.

My wife and I were here sometime to get some dinner meals for the week as well as our favorite caramelized onion and mushroom pizza! Which tastes absolutely delicious, so if you haven't tried it, make sure you do it because it will knock your socks off unless you're allergic to onions or mushrooms, then don't. This week I got the sushi, which was buy one and get one 50% off because it was on Friday. The crunchy sushi wasn't as appealing as I would have expected normally. Not as good as it is at Publix, I know because it is a different establishment, but that's the best comparison I could put. The workers at that location are friendly, and I love the functionality of being able to use my Amazon account to pay for my groceries without taking out my card.

Supposedly they purchased from a Distributor They also fraudulently had their items labeled with the USDA Organic Label along with other USDA Certifiers names and logos - unbelievable. Italian wines greet you as you enter and proceed though the site. Shopping Baskets are at the front entrance. This place is located in a warehouse. It's suite number 6. The main entrance is in the back. When you enter, you wend your way through a sea of shelves of all sorts of goodies -- pastas, wine, tuna, coffees, capers, tomato paste, olive oils, pastries, anchovies, spices, peppers, etc etc. And there are many brands of each different appetizing Italian treat in jar, cans, and boxes. They also had some freshly made takeout foods, too. We wound up with some wine, a bottle of aranchiata soda, and some vanilla filled chocolate cookies. We probably would have bought more if we hadn't just come from lunch and were stuffed. So glad to know that they are here and what they have in the store.
