We stayed out in the area, to pick him up when he was finished, but we never got a call. We went into the store to see what was going on, and found out that they had "overbooked" grooming appointments, and had never even started his haircut. They put him into a kennel while he was there, and they never apologized for what happened. We were extremely angry, and when we spoke to the manager, she didn't seem to care at all. When my grandmother and I visited this store yesterday, there was a dead parakeet at the bottom of…read moreone of the cages. The display said 'Baby Parakeets.' A baby parakeet was dead, and there were two other birds in there with it, surely at risk of becoming ill themselves. We had to inform an employee that they had a dead bird in one of their cages. They didn't seem upset or concerned, merely inconvenienced. They removed the bird, but it was very upsetting to see that they had let a baby parakeet die and go unnoticed. There were also the typical pet store issues-cages were too small, fish were in those horrifically tiny bowls, and the animals obviously didn't seem well cared for. I'm just beyond disgusted that a young bird that should be able to live up to 15 years with proper care was dead before even getting a home. It broke my heart. This place is disgusting.

One of the back walls has been deemed structurally unsound, yet the store manager Jake has opted to place product back on the wall, making it a risk for both customers and employees. This location is chronically understaffed on weekends, when it is at its peak volume and over staffed on bizarre days like Mondays and Thursdays. The parking lot desperately needs lines painted, with no lines even indicating handicapped parking. Take the extra 15 minutes and drive to the Holden location. Holden is always staffed with friendly employees, clean and ready to serve you.

Caitlin took our boy and won his trust quickly and was able to give him and end to end remodel and refurbish cut with no problems which was so remarkable I still can't believe it .
