    Entrance to the Principal's Office!

Love this place! Great to be back. I had a favorite coffee drink, Cortado. I forgot how great it is! I love what they did to the corner room. It has a cozy vibe. Nice cove to hangout alone or with friends. Service is great, as usual. My only regret is not coming back sooner.

Principal's Office is located inside a food hall with plenty of seating, which makes it a convenient spot to grab a drink. The setup could use a little work, though. When we visited, they were clearly short-staffed and the line was a bit of a mess, there wasn't a clear system, so you were never quite sure who was up next. That said, once we got our order in, the drinks came out quickly and were really good. Creative, well-made, and worth the short wait. What stood out the most was the staff. Even though they were slammed, the bartenders stayed friendly and kept things moving with a good attitude. It made the experience feel a lot more relaxed than it could have been. We'll definitely be back... good drinks, good vibes, and a team that's doing their best even under pressure.

So neat that the coffees and cocktails are at the principal's office! Got some lattes here on a chilly afternoon and it hits the spot! The lattes were very unique and high quality and it's not too sweet but you can still taste the flavor it's supposed to represent! Would love to try their cocktails one day.

Now this is an interesting bar. The place is inside of "Ivywild school" which is an actual school building that was historic and after it closed as a school it was converted into this public space with lots of little shops, restaurants, and bars - including this cool one called principal's office (I learned all this from my Airbnb host in CO springs). I had a mocktail called "the great white buffalo" since I get headaches when I drink after hiking in Colorado, and it was one of the loveliest mocktails ive ever had! I believe it was only $7 as well, very reasonable. The bar itself was HOPPING the day I came, lots of folks were there but the bartenders worked pretty fast. They did keep disappearing though, after they served me and I closed by tab out, they vanished (didn't see them again for about 20 mins, not even to pick up the credit card reader - so didn't get my receipt but that's ok). For such a big place it was so busy I kinda just found a single stool at the bar - good thing I was by myself! There was TONS of parking out front too. Would def rec a visit here - I'm sure the alcoholic drinks are great too, but I loved my mocktail!

Great place to enjoy a favorite drink and if you love coffee, they offer endless refills! A favorite place to hang out with friends, awesome staff, great patio too. Try the new breakfast menu across the way (Ivywild Kitchen) with that coffee.

Third time visiting and the cocktails never cease to be amazing. Big shoutout to Andy for making our great drinks and also willing to talk spirits for a while. Whenever we make the visit from San Diego we make sure to swing by for a drink. Besides the great drinks, you're in a brick walled former offer of a school principal which gives it such an awesome setting for a drink. Will for sure be back the next time we visit!

Such a beautiful and well taken care of space. There were so many fun food options to choose from, so we decided to come back once a month and try everything lol. I love that all the sitting areas have water and cups and cloth napkins for you to help yourself to. Outside had an area for people to play cornhole too, such a great idea.

Great cocktail spot in an old school! Would be great for a date afternoon/night We got the Juice Box and Sal's Paradise. Highly recommend both but they have a ton of options!

The Principal's Office is a super cool little bar in Ivy Wild! I ordered the extra credit drink, which I thought was great! Happy hour prices were really good, and they had a great selection of mixed drinks as well as non-alcoholic coffee and tea options. The whole place is very cute and is a great spot for any size group or to go yourself! Bar seating is available, in addition to tables of all sizes. The bartenders were great and made really good drinks! I loved the option to order online from any food place in Ivy Wild, and being able to pick up the food and bring it back to The Principal's Office. It's great for a group that may want different things to eat! Next time visiting Colorado Springs, I will definitely be back!

Soo they have a cool and amazing happy hr on some delicious drinks. Drinks are usually about 14/15.00 and with happy hr we got the for about 7.00! Thats pretty damn good! And they were crafter cocktails not your typical wells. I was impressed!

Happy hour at the Principal's Office at Ivywild is so fun! Casual and friendly, is the atmosphere! I came between 3 and 6pm for the specials. There is a variety of cocktails, beer and wine at a decent discount. Ali was the bartender. She was proficient, personable and professional. Excellent service!I will come back again and again.

    Seasonal Expresso and Horchata
    Amanda-Rae B.

These drinks were fresh and delicious! I got a seasonal Expresso-- it was made with fresh Expresso and a rye whiskey. It was light, frothy, and had a perfect hint of sweetness. My only regret was not getting a photo of the bar tender pouring the drink. My husband got the horchata. It was tasty but gave more of a White Russian taste than rice milk and cinnamon taste. The bartenders were very attentive and kind. The ambiance was very chill with a refined twist.

Steak bites, truffle fries, brownie skillet... I want to come back just to try more food alone. This was insane and the pricing was good, the value was good, and I even ordered truffle fries to go because I loved it so much! What is super fun is that they now have wine tastings on Tuesdays and it is a great deal. $12 for four wines. Someone tells you about each wine and it's a great way to sample a bunch of wines, both local and not. I was super excited about that! I will again, come back to do that! Lots of positives there. And our server was very sweet. She was checking in and making sure we were doing well. I wish I knew her name but sadly I don't. But she was so kind and had a great personality. And everything came out fast! The vibes are also good. I love the outdoor seating/patio options for a hot summer night. And it was very lush. It's funny because I had never heard of this place before but it is in a fantastic area near Night Ramen and Provision Bakery (two amazing spots). Breakfast at Provision, apps and drinks at My Cellar Wine Bar, and maybe a dinner at Night Ramen. Haha! Just kidding, but again, great spot. Here's where I have issues. I worked in the restaurant industry for six years. I understand staying over close and even coming in close to close is a no no (at least for me). But we arrived at 7:30 pm and stayed until 9:45 pm. One of my best friends is getting married so she wanted to show us her dress and share her excitement. At 9 pm (note they close at 10 pm), they turned on the lights, began sweeping, closed the kitchen, and even at one point blasted music. We asked the waitress when they closed the wine bar. 10 pm. But what frustrated me the most is that the manager (I assume) came over and was acting extremely condescending. "I know you girls are having such a good time!!" And was trying to usher us out. Girl. You don't close until 10 pm. It's 9:45. If you didn't want us to stay, then maybe change the hours. I don't care if we are the only ones there. It was extremely rude and the way she said it felt, as I said, condescending. Like we were young and dumb or something. As a diner, I expect great service. Which we got for the most part. But to kick us out before it closes is unprofessional and frustrating. Of course we left, but god forbid a girl get excited about her wedding and wants to share all about it. This left a sour taste in my mouth and again, if you wanted to close early, maybe don't tell patrons the actual time you close: 10 pm. We bought a lot and a bottle of wine. Let us finish our glasses and I promise we will leave before close. I would still come back, but maybe I'll go to Vine and Wheel or another wine bar first.

The staff was so well informed about wine selections and the libations were amazing! The first time I was there was many years ago, when the warm fireplace with couches was a centerpiece and memorable. It's upstairs, off the street, windows looking out. I finally made it back with a friend, and we had a great time; however, as John C. said in his comments, I can relate to the (still current) problems they seem to be facing with only one employee available, and no one to make the cheese fondue we were looking forward to. We settled for a cheese and hummus & olive plates, which were good, just not what we wanted. I do not recall the fireplace going. There were a couple of other parties seated at tables, and it seemed as though our server was a bit overwhelmed. He did know about the wine, which we appreciated.
