John's a nice guy and he means well. We needed simple plumbing done and I was too tired to figure out how to resolve it. John was available tonight while my plumber was available tomorrow, so i figured it was worth it to just have it dealt with. When John came he said he knew what to do, but unfortunately he wouldn't admit that it was beyond his abilities before he started. Quarter turn water shutoffs are compression fitting and he tried adding plumbers tape. When I told him that won't work, he said "we'll see". It didn't work. Then nearly an hour later he said he fixed it buy adding silicone. That's not how you fix a leak, and also, it didn't fix it. Silicone is unsafe to drink and it was still leaking. I was frustrated with him, but figured he came this way late at night, let's get him something else to fix. He didn't have the tools to do what I needed so I just told him I'd pay him for his time to send him home. He asked for $150 for the time of tightening the hoses despite not fixing the primary issue I asked to fix. When I called him after to voice frustration about the still leaking pipe he said "I'll give you $50 back". Plumber came the next day and the damage done by John required me to pay more money to replace both valves that were damaged by him. Unfortunately, John isn't extremely handy nor affordable at $180 minimum. Very nice guy so it kills me to put this review, but I wouldn't recommend him for anything unless it's incredibly simple. read more

John successfully installed the microwave in about 90 minutes, in spite of some bolts the other previous installer striped. He was polite and easy to work with.
