I recently purchased a 1968 Camaro. I was looking for a business that is specific for my vheicle. I found LS Pros through YELP and read all the great reviews from current customers. I called LS and spoke to Bill who was very enthusiastic and just a pleasure to talk to. It was almost as though I have know this guy all my life. I told him I wanted a thorough inspection as there was a small oil leak and I wanted to have an over-drive transmission retro-fitted to the car. I arrived at the appointment agreed upon and met Bill and Dan. Both were very friendly and professional. I left the car and received a call back a day later with their findings and recommendations. I brought my 2006 Pontiac GTO here because my transmission had gave out. I looked all over yelp for a good place to fix my transmission I gave a couple of places some calls , And when I gave this place a call they were able to give me a good estimate on what it would be to replace the tranny. Not only that but the guy who was going to work on my car had on a GTO as well and has previous work experience on GTO's which made me feel more comfortable about fixing my problem. I had a warranty for my vehicle and when I brought my car here they told me not to worry about anything that they were going to handle it. That right there it what I called great customer service because not once did I ever have to call my warranty. The transmission was fix and about one day. I am really satisfied with the car I haven't had any problems with it feels great and I would definitely recommend anybody to this shop ! LS Pros Automotive is an auto service and repair shop located near Power Inn Rd., just south of 14th St. The owners, Dan, Willie and Bill, specialize in GM and Japanese cars and perform the work themselves. Four years ago I hadn't yet met Dan. My Chevy Suburban had begun shifting erratically, and, assuming a transmission problem, I brought it to a (note: very popular) downtown transmission shop where I got a $3,500+ estimate. Stunned, I tried another local shop who said a rebuilt transmission was needed - at a cost of $4K+. I turned to a good friend who recommended Dan as his go-to guy and a "GM expert" so I called Dan immediately. After we discussed the symptoms in detail, Dan said he was "pretty sure" he knew what the problem was, that it had nothing to do with a faulty transmission, and that the repair should be less than $150. Thinking this was too good to be true (but hoping it was!!), I brought the car in. Happy ending: Dan was right, and the charge was $135. Dan has worked on three of my vehicles for the past several years. I've referred him to several friends, all of whom have found him to be honest, dependable, knowledgeable and competent. Our 01 Silverado had been diagnosed with a probable lifter issue, other noises came up and we thought about selling it. Our last chance was LS Pros after searching for a Chevy engine rebuilder and expecting a rebuild/new motor diagnosis. Coincidentally every mechanic has the same truck which was reassuring. They knew it so well and found out it's not the lifter but the rocker arm and rocker on top of the lifters. Diagnosed and repaired at a fair price and I felt they were honest throughout the process. I won a free oil change and inspection in a raffle for LS Pros and so I decided to bring my Chevy Tahoe in and get all this free stuff. I own a few Hot Rods and know my way around a garage. I could have done this myself, but why not take advantage of my free coupon. I can tell you, LS Pros does a thorough job with the inspection part and they do not try to sell you anything. They just point out their findings. OK, I'll admit, changing oil isn't really hard for anyone to do. But the inspection part can really be done in many ways. Check out my negative review on Jiffy Lube and you'll see how. At LS Pros, the shop is real clean and the staff is very friendly and approachable. I can tell that they know what they're doing because, as I looked around the shop, I saw lots of new and professional equipment. Looks like they work on family cars like my Tahoe, and they also work on high tech Hot Rods. Let me tell you how thorough the inspection was...They checked all the fluid levels and filters just like any other shop would. However, I noticed that they checked the tire pressures and wear, all the lights including brake, running, signals etc. wipers, exhaust, catalytic converter, shocks, front end components, etc. They literally put the car in the air, and start at the front bumper. They work their way to the back bumper and check every in between and under the vehicle. They even checked the air pressure on my Spare Tire...Who does that? They also do the same when the car is on the ground. I was shown all items that needed any attention soon and was not pressured to buy anything. I was off and on my way in less than a half hour. I felt pretty confident and safe after this inspection as I drove home. I really recommend this LS Pros Service to people who don't know anything about cars. I actually know a lot about cars and found LS Pros to be quite honest and efficient. read more

Wow they're great! I've had my car, a Hyundai Santa Fe worked on several times by these guys. I usually get in right away and the turn around time isn't too long either. They have always done a great job and I trust them to fix what needs to be fixed and not over-charge me. It's difficult for a woman to say that about an auto repair shop. One of the required repairs done was on the axle and boot. Another place had quoted $1300 to fix it and LS Pros Automotive did it for $300. These guys did an amazing job repairing my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Bill was incredibly helpful and kept me up to date on every step. It was an extensive repair involving the cylinder head, and he haggled with the warranty company to get my bill down as low as possible. I paid half of what I did at the dealership for a similar repair to the other side! When they were finished, they washed my car and even bolted the front license plate on (which was kinda hanging there). It looks and runs great.
