Ok, so I was going to give a four star rating to this restaurant. The food is great, the macaroni and cheese is really good, one of the best Mac and cheeses I've had. The burgers are yummy and the atmosphere is fun and hip. What pushed this rating to five stars is the amazing staff that works here. We had a very attentive waiter that had great recommendations from the menu. Between the waiter, the hostess, the busboy, and some of the other staff here you can tell they take customer service very seriously. Tried LSA today and we had been told to get the brisket queso. Of course we did and it was the best we'd had...by far! It was tender brisket with a smooth not over powering queso that had a swirl of delicious bbq sauce. Their chips did not disappoint either, they were fresh and a light crispy...perfection! After filling up on queso we moved on to our meals. We ordered the Georgie Boy with Parmesan Garlic fries and the chicken tenders with black beans & rice. The bacon and signature sauce on the burger were on point. The tenders were coated in a thin crispy batter with their bbq sauce. The sauce was a thin Smokey sweet sauce and so delicious. The first time I went to Lsa was on a date with this girl we found a good spot at the bar because we could tell they were short staffed and we are about productivity over comfortabilty. Food is average. Fancy names and ingredients listed, but it really doesn't come together as well as it does on paper. The atmosphere is fun, especially upstairs and the drinks are good. Service is a crapshoot most of the time. You might have a surly person one time and a really nice server the next. The food can come out cold if you are there when it is crowded because the runners have to go upstairs to deliver. In town in a busy Saturday (UNT Homecoming)) made our way to LSA (Lone Star Attitude) for a lunch. We were told that it would be a 20 min wait so we committed, gave our # so we could be texted and commenced to wait 45 min. I checked in with the host 1x was told were 2nd in line and then watched about 6-7 parties walk upstairs to the rooftop seats. I checked in again after seeing that and was told my table was ready and they were sorry I was t getting texts. (Maybe due to my out of town cell #) We waited again at the top of the stairs for a few minutes, were finally seated at a community table and then had to wave down a server who wasn't ours but took our drink and app order. Our guy finally showed up and took our burger order. The brisket queso and guacamole chips and salsa were very good! Crispy chips were awesome and did their job in delivering the tasty goodness to our hungry mouths I had to manage our drink refills and request for any help at the table. Newer to the Denton area, so there's plenty of different places to check out on the square. I love that you can sit on the main level or go rooftop and have an awesome view of the courthouse w/live bands every so often both at LSA and on the square while enjoying the weather and a cold one. The brisket queso was fire, all staff was friendly, prices were fair, and the menu was easy to read + full of variety. Food didn't take an unreasonably long time for lunch on a Sunday afternoon rush either. I'm definitely going back here! read more
