With the ATI facility in Addison IL, I don't even know where to start. My first visit, not knowing what to expect or what to do, being greeted by such happy, smiling and helpful people, made this part very relaxed, easy and comforting. From there, working with primarily the therapists Brian C. and Prachi P., I have to say that they are simply incredible (not to mention the additional support staff)! I've been coming here now for almost three months (3 times a week) and every single time I walk into the office, I'm greeted with a smile, caring request for how I'm feeling and a genuine feeling they really do care about me and my well being... An absolute requirement with working with what are really, perfect strangers, right out of the gate. Being a younger staff, I had some concern about their level of experience and ability to really understand my condition and what was going to be necessary to rehabilitate my unique condition. Not only did they take the time to (really) listen to my experience and history, they followed up with additional questions with me so they had a very thorough understanding and then, they also have been in contact with my surgeon to ensure all of the bases had been covered... Their training, experiences and knowledge became quite obvious almost immediately and quickly eliminated any concerns I had with their ability to treat me. This is extremely important for whomever is going to be working on you to completely understand every aspect of what the problem is and what would need to be done in order to not only reach my goals but far exceed them (which to this point, they have completely done). To say they have FAR exceeded my expectations is an understatement! As for the office and equipment, the entire facility is clean and orderly and you can tell that everyone within this office takes pride in keeping it this way. There is every conceivable piece of equipment necessary to treat any sort of ailment you may have and even when they are busy, equipment is always cleaned and put back in its proper place. No one has the fear of tripping over anything or looking to see where the 'thing' is they may need for their next exercise or that laying down on a massage table wasn't first thoroughly cleaned prior to you laying down onto it. To sum up... There is all the equipment you will need, is organized and clean, the office is extremely tidy, welcoming and even has music to help keep your spirits up and most importantly, Brian and Pratchi are the most knowledgeable, caring and invested therapists anyone could ever want in a physical therapy center and the entire staff will have you feeling like you're visiting an extended family (and not just someone who is there to do their 9-5 job). I couldn't rave more about this facility or its staff so please, do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a therapist and center, don't hesitate to make a stop in, check them out and talk with either Brian or Prachi, you will NOT be disappointed!!

I was at this location from the end of March 2024 until July 08. By July I wasn't where I needed…read moreto be due to the trauma my body experience months before a surgery. But this Facility apparently was done with me. I understand going down to one day a week sessions, but what I couldn't understand was, why the deceit or run around. On July 05 at the end of my session I asked the receptionist if we could schedule my next round of appointments. She informed me my therapist wanted to discuss with me going down to one day (he was unexpectedly off after the Holiday) on Monday so she wanted to wait until I talked to him. So after my session on Monday I went up to her desk again and asked to schedule more appointments; this day she told me she couldn't schedule (apparently from Fri. - Mon. her story changed), anymore appointments as I needed to get approved first. I asked her. Approved from Who ? My therapist had mentioned the potential of Medicare being an issue. I informed I have TWO insurances and Medicare is Not my Primary, (in which they have this info.) they basically have nothing to do with this. So she says, hold on let me go check and she walked into the back, returning to tell me to call in 3-4 days to see if an approval came in. Again I asked approval from Who? (I know my 2 insurances were still covering this) She proceeded to say I had to wait for the Manager and due to the Holiday (4th of July), she is running behind so give her a few days. Really, this is how they operate? Knowing my insurance was still paying (& I even called them both to verify what I already knew), I called to schedule more appointments the next day. This particular women scheduled Two sessions for me and informed she was allowed to only schedule Two. (This was the very next day After the in house receptionist didn't want to be bothered scheduling the two allowed.) Then I was assured someone would call me to make the next set of appointments as soon as I was approved for more. She couldn't tell me either WHO exactly this so called approval was coming from. So I waited and waited, no one called. Plus the 2 I did get scheduled were 2.5 to 3 weeks away. Why does an established patient need to wait almost 3 weeks to get more sessions started? As I never heard back from anyone, I went elsewhere. But on July 22nd I received a phone call from Northwestern asking if I could take an appointment time available That day due to a cancelation. I informed I never had received a call to schedule more sessions and she informs me that they Are Indeed scheduled. I asked How? She then tells me her co-worker scheduled them for me. I asked, without talking to me? She sounded embarrassed and could only say her co worker must have thought she'd discuss it with me when I came in. I'd like to know if I couldn't do any of those days was I going to have to wait another 3 weeks to get in? So apparently it's the management who decides who's worthy of their time, they can push aside existing patients to allow room for New patients, so beware. Actually there is no really concern or care for their patients. I tried to send a letter to upper management but was only able to find a Patient Relations department for the hospital. I explained to her I did not want to discuss this with the local Bloomingdale office as they were the cause. She said she'd pass my name onto the next in charge. I never heard back, I sent a note telling the Patient Relations person that I didn't want to leave a bad review because I didn't want it to reflect poorly on my two therapists. Still I never heard from anyone. Now looking back at that environment I can truly say if you have a major issue this is not the best place to go. It's a large facility set up badly, i wanted to discuss the safety issues but no one wanted to call me and there were the bike that was positioned too close to it. Another time I had to use the Pullies directly after someone stopped using them (only one set !) Same thing with the armbike: None of the equipment is wiped off after use. No disenfective wipes are available in the therapy rooms for the Patient to wipe down. I saw a lot of Elderly people here, covid may not be raging but germs always exist. This facility has no weight bars for use and about daily I was given a Cane to use that surely was never wiped off from me or the last person who used it before me. My therapist attached a weight to the cane in which the velcro on the ends was worn down and it dangled over my face. When is it just going to fall apart onto someone's face? That's not all about the safety issues I spotted there but I'll just say I looked down when I walked I'm obviously highly disappointed in Northwestern but I think now they did me a favor because I'm in a much better place.

So I dropped in with out an appointment asked the secretary if she can ask my Dixie to give me a referral to cover my eye visit earlier. No problem all I need to do is wait for a phone call and my doctor will fax it how awesome is that. I love this clinic

My mother is at Lee Manor now receiving care. My family's experience has been a mix of good but…read moremostly bad. The first month my mother was at Lee Manor, she was on the 1st floor. This floor is clean and welcoming it is staff appropriate number of residents to staff for the most part. She was later moved to the 4th floor due to her medical coverage would no longer cover 1st floor care. My mom was sent to Medicaid floor. Our family understood as we didn't have the money to cover the co-pay $$$$for 1st floor. The 4th floor is dirty, and smells of urine and poop once you step out of the elevator. Residents are left in dinning hall for hours at a time. Some are slouched over in tables asleep or falling out of chairs. When my mom presses the call button it can take up to 2 and a half hours for a response from staff. Staff can be rude and incentive. We have to be present to get my mom the attention she needs and physical go get a CNA or nurse to assist with care after an hour of having pressed call button. I do not recommend this facility for your loved one's unless.... They are getting care or residency on the 1st floor.

My husband was transferred from Lutheran General to Lee Manor for rehab. for 2 weeks…read more He stayed on the 1st floor and he was alone in his room. We liked the fact that the place was clean, it didn't smell of urine at all, his room was clean ,the cleaning crew came daily to pick up the garbage ,change the sheets and cleaned his room several times a week as well as his bathroom. We also liked the fact that he was picked up 5 days a week to the exercise room to work on his major problems. They also gave him a bath twice a week. The entire staff was very nice and helpful, both medical and office. I don't know what's going on the other floors or the long term care situations? I can only emphasis on our experience. Yes, the food could be a little better and the response when one press the call button could improve!

My brother was at Wynscape for a year. There aren't adequate words to say how pleased we were with…read morehis care and the facility as a whole. The place is so clean. They clean one corridor after another and when all 4 wings are done, they start all over. The staff is wonderful- warm, friendly, caring, skilled, kind and dedicated. Even staff who was not assigned to my brother that day would stop in to say hello or share a joke or talk about sports. Some even stopped by on their days off to check in on my brother. I would say that for many of them, this is not just a job, but a calling. The care they gave was gentle, compassionate, patient, tender, respectful. They work hard to preserve their patients' dignity. My brother knew he was loved, not only by our family, but also by his Wynscape family. I was impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone on the staff. They regularly stopped what they were doing to provide help and assistance. The rehab staff is also excellent - encouraging, professional, attentive. The food is very good and the staff went out of their way to make sure my brother ate. The staff not only attended to the needs of my brother but were also very attentive and responsive to our family. From entering the facility to the time one leaves, the warmth and caring provided are evident. If I ever need skilled or long term care, this is the place I would choose. I am so very grateful for the care they rendered to my brother in his last year.

Frequently residents call for help go unanswered for hours and the staff seems to change too often and some of the temp help seems completely untrained for requirements of elderly care.
