Food is good and drinks are good, but a big downside of this place is that wifi is really terrible. I've came here twice (25 min drive) to give it a second chance but the wifi situation has been a disappointing experience. Both times I had came to get work done, already purchased food and drinks, and had to leave asap because I am unable to get work done. I began reading old reviews and I noticed it's been brought to management's attention and wifi upgrades have been promised but there still seems to be an issue. There were many people on laptops inside and disappointingly closing their laptops and leaving when they couldn't connect. For a place that has this many people wanting to get work done (majority of customers both times i was here) and wifi advertised, you would think it would be available. The food and service is great, my overall experience was just disappointing. read more

They've done such a great job decorating the place. It feels very much like a home you want to curl up with a book by the fireplace and never leave. The pool table is an added bonus! I've only tried their breakfast sandwich, which is really tasty with the garlic aioli! The uplifting messages on their drink labels always puts a smile on my face. I decided to finally write a review today because one of their staff was so kind and helped me bring my bike up the stairs. She was so helpful and everyone in there working were very cheerful. I love everything about this place. The staff are amazing and so friendly, the environment is warm and inviting, the windows let in tons of natural light making for a chill work or hang out space. Not to mention that the drinks are so fun! My favorite is the matcha matcha man, but their creativity in drinks all around is so fun. This place was so darling!!!!! The front has a patio area that contains lights. Very cute aesthetic and also can be romantic. The people working here were so down to earth. It made it very enjoyable. The coffee was pretty good as well!!! I had the Luana signature drink with sugar free vanilla syrup. The place is good size and good seating. Parking is limited. Honestly... went to the new location and it was very dark inside LOL. Ordered the kyles favorite and it taste like straight water for some reason? Was in a rush so i didn't have time to ask them to remake but it seriously was so watered down. There were no pastries. It just wasn't the best experience. Luana's is one of my favorite places on this earth! I have been going here since it was just the cart in the parking lot of the nursery! Since those days they opened their previous location (which was so cute! Loved that building) and now they are at their newest building in Phoenix! My favorite part of my last job was that it was close enough to Luana's that I could go there on my lunch break and get an Ube latte and a cookie! As soon as you walk in you can tell how much love is put into this place, the baristas are kind, the food is PERFECT, the drinks are always made to perfection, the decorating is so cute, and they always have fun events going on like Trivia nights. Definitely try out the chai, matcha, and ube latte (my favorites!) and if you're looking for food, the hot honey pizza, breakfast spam, and chicken curry salad are my favs but honestly you can't go wrong with anything you order! I recommend this place to everyone that I talk to because I literally can't imagine walking in and not immediately falling in love with the atmosphere! Very rude staff. The cashier gave me pure attitude and attempted to insult me by claiming my Versace glasses were fake. (Yes I have video of this encounter) when I reported this behavior the owners proceeded to insult me and said me and my 9 year old daughter were banned from the store which was ok for me but it was sad to tell my daughter (we had been hanging out there on daddy daughter dates) anyhow I was out at Cham Pang Lanes when the owners of Luanas ran into me and the male owner proceeded to threaten me with physical confrontation so I had to ask security to escort them away (I have friends in high places) but the moral of this story is I found a coffee shop THE HENRY with a proper polite staff and with a better product. Super cozy cafe! Lots of cool things to look at, many delicious options for food and drinks as well. Friendly and upbeat staff. I got a dirty chai, which was spicy and delicious. The sign on the corner or the street confused me at first and I almost passed the place, but was able to turn just in time. So not too terribly noticeable from the street if you're new. I went to Luana's with some of my friends from university to study. When I walked in I was greeted very warmly and was helped right away! The Rex Fast and a matcha are what I ordered, and it was some of the best matcha I've had in a long time! The Rex Fast was a very fun Hawaiian breakfast that I had never tried before and it was excellent!! Overall the vibes inside were dark and grunge in a cool way, very appealing to people who like to study in cozy environments! There was also plenty of seating for studying, and there were games like pool and darts if you were to go for more of a social gathering! Another bonus is the bathrooms are very fun, with cool themes!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a cool coffee shop, needing to study, or just wants a cool place to hang out! Story time my little sister's wedding dress shopping today and Luana's is her fav coffee shop I went early in the am opening 7:30am just like google says to order for the entire bridal party some coffee. Dust my eyes deceive they weren't open! I waited for 15 mins and still nothing so sadly I had to head over to another coffee shop. Although I still have not tried the new location I'm sure it's dope! Luana's is my favorite place in the city of Phoenix! I have made so many memories here in the short time it's been open and would always recommend it to anyone asking for delicious coffee or even a quick bite to eat! We've been twice during Covid and both times felt very safe and secure. We ordered inside and they brought the food outside to us. Tables were nicely spaced apart and everyone was very respectful of each other. In addition, the food and coffee are fantastic! Lots of options and some really interesting selections.
