This was my first time at Lublu bakery and Cafe. It is located in the TJ Maxx plaza with plenty of free parking. They have a large outdoor sitting area or inside seating as well . We sat inside since it was early morning. We dined around 9 am on Saturday morning and it wasn't very busy. You seat yourself then a server comes over with menus , silverware , water pitcher and cups. They serve breakfast all day as well as lunch . There was a varied selection of egg dishes - sandwiches , platters, as well as crepes , avocado toast , French toast , salads , nova, and sandwiches as well. They have a large assortment of pasties and cakes in their front cases. Their drink menu consists of fresh juices, smoothies , and a variety of coffee drinks . The service was great , we were greeted quickly . Once we placed our order , food was brought out within 10-15 min. I had the egg and cheese sandwich, I don't eat ham so I was subbed for turkey . It included a salad but since it was breakfast time, I opted for fruit which was a $2 up charge . My mom and sister both had the poached egg breakfast that included a croissant , fresh fruit , and spinach with mushrooms and onions . We all enjoyed our meals . I had a lemon/ginger hot tea which I liked. The total for the three dishes , one hot tea and one cold brew was $56 . Definitely a great place to check out for breakfast/brunch or lunch. read more

LuBlu Bakery & Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots. They also have an amazing bakery selection -- you can order custom cakes and pastries or simply choose from the beautiful desserts they already have available in the display. My kids absolutely love their Nutella & berry pancakes, and their smoothies are always delicious too. There's usually something interesting and unique to try every visit. This time the macarons caught my attention -- they had different character designs, and we even found ones that matched our little family The coffee is always good, and my husband is obsessed with their French onion soup with melted baked cheese on top. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The café itself is clean, the staff takes orders quickly, and the food comes out fast as well. Most of the staff speaks Russian, which is very convenient for many local families. The only downside during our visit was the gentleman cleaning the tables -- he seemed very unhappy and not very welcoming. He didn't speak English or Russian either (I believe Spanish only). The restroom could definitely use some updating. It was clean, but older, and unfortunately there never seems to be enough toilet paper or soap. The location is convenient with a large parking lot, plus there's a Russian store and TJ Maxx nearby, which makes it easy to turn breakfast into a little shopping trip. read more

Very cute place. It is very hard to find, a hidden gem. Right next to TJ Maxx. I wish the maps helped more. The menu is verrrrry old. This place is rather expensive for what you get. The place was busy and they didn't seem to have enough servers for this kind of tables. The food was good. My avocado toast was some of the best. The pinenuts on top made it! My friend got a ham and cheese sandwich. She liked it. Everything is very basic, so you have to really look for something. I would suggest to have something from the fresher baked section. I had a dessert from the cold counter and it was not that good. The Christmas tree tasted stale and we got a hazelnut cookie and it was ok but all it was was a biscuit and hazelnut. We felt like eating straight up Nutella. Idk if id go again unless Im in the area. But it's still worth trying! read more

The food got accolades from the group, with 2/3 of dishes rated at perfect portion size (the brioche french toast and the scrambled eggs & smoked salmon) and 1/3 (champignon truffle crepe) declared too big for 1 human to finish! We are also big fans of their sweet croissants (the almond and the almond & pear) for after. Also, the OJ is indeed fresh pressed. The service was a little slow at first (we sat ourselves and just sort of waited for about 5 minutes) and she messed up service on part of my order (I asked for a grande macchiato, and she entered it correctly, but the she brought me a double espresso... weird mistake), but pleasant enough. The cafe itself is cute enough, with umbrella covered outdoor seating in the large breezeway between buildings and about eight tables indoors, some cutesy Paris decoration, enough to carry the theme though not quite enough to create an immersive atmosphere. My first visit with a party of 5 for lunch. This is a "large party" at Lublu so an 18% gratuity is automatically added. Fret not though, you're asked if you'd like to add an additional gratuity when you pay! Service was poor, not meriting 18%! Server was completely expressionless and practically non-verbal! Our food, most of which seemed to be premade, took a long time to be served. I ordered Croque Madame, which seemed premade, dry, and was cold. About a month or so ago I was here for an early lunch. I never knew about this place and it's been right next to TJ Maxx forever. I had the spinach quiche that came with some mixed greens on the side. The fresh greens were topped with a balsamic drizzle. The quiche was simply incredible, and it was the best version of spinach quiche that I have ever had. I was in a French bakery so I couldn't resist ending my lunch with a sweet treat. I had a mini éclair that was amazing. The rich custard filling was delicious. Very good food made with quality ingredients. This is a great cafe to stop in for a quick meal or just a treat from their large bakery case. I highly recommend this bakery, especially if you are looking for a special dessert, either for yourself or to bring to any gathering. Not inexpensive, but worth the price for quality homemade food and baked goods. I'll be back next time I feel like quiche or a good pastry. I'm honestly not sure why this restaurant is so popular. The food itself is good -- I'd rate the food an 8/10 -- and they do offer a nice selection of café-style items. However, the customer service is extremely disappointing. It feels like you have to go out of your way just to get basic attention, which shouldn't be the case. Service should be proactive, welcoming, and attentive -- not something customers have to request. Unfortunately, the lack of service really takes away from the overall experience. But they also happen to have good food was well, everything from coffee, breakfast dishes, sandwiches and salads, to pastry's and fresh baked bread. Anyway, I dropped by with my daughters after school the other day. I went with the smoked salmon, eggs and avocado, while my kids got a mozzarella and tomato sandwich and a tuna salad sandwich. We also got 3 juices with our meals. Everything was very solid, but what took me aback a bit was the bill, which was $85 for our meal including tip. I realize its 2025 and inflation and yada yada yada, but $85 for eggs and salmon, 2 sandwiches and 3 juices!? That seems pretty crazy to me, even if the food is tasty. So while I like Lublu it's just too out there with pricing for me to consider going back. Our server Matthew, the runners and table clearing people worked well together. They were prompt, explained the menu and were kind. My husband ordered the avocado toast with egg. They cooked the over medium egg perfectly The bread was to die for - lovely nutty german- like bread. So good we went to the Russian store to buy and take a loaf home. The Russian store and this store are the same owners. I ordered the salmon crepe and there was more salmon then I anticipated which was a nice surprise. I took half home. The almond croissant was the best I had in Boca. The paste is in the middle AND on top and bottom - they heated it for us. A little smaller than pre pandemic but still good. Fresh squeezed juices and freshly made smoothies, croissants, crepes, eggs, tuna, chicken salad, french onion soup is my favourite and many other items on the menu. Also love mushroom cheese crepe. Cappuccino is served in a big round cup full of froth. Love it! Service sometimes is iffy, but it's worth it. They also sell fresh baked desserts. My friend and I dined here for the first time after I had always been passing by and saying that I have to try it. I ordered a turkey panini that was delicious and my friend enjoyed her salad. What's a good neighborhood without a good friendly bakery? Lublu ticks all the boxes: fresh, affordable, authentic, and delicious! Easily the most compete French bakery cafe I've visited in south Florida. Not exactly what you'd expect from a French bakery cafe tucked away in the corridor of a business plaza. Lublu features pretty much every French cafe item you can think of. Crepes, salads, quiches, sandwiches, soups, croque monsiers and madames. Let's not forget the dozens upon dozens of baked goods...baguettes, Croissants, Éclairs, Cannelés, Macaroons, Financiers, Madeleine....on and on and on! The colorful display is nothing short of mesmerizing :-) There's not many things I don't love about this place. The several feet tall Eiffel towers and actual French speaking staff only add to the experience. Not many things in this world feel more Parisian than a proper neighborhood French bakery and cafe. To the people from Russia that said restaurants in America, always let you sit anywhere even if you have food from a different place. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard these people are so entitled that they think they give a bad review because they couldn't eat their Russian food at a French place next-door. We were shopping in the area and this place showed up on my trusty yelp app as a nearby restaurant. When I saw the name, I assumed it was lub- loo. I didn't put together (at first) that this french restaurant and bakery was "le bleu" if you say it aloud. I did want to ask someone about the name, but didn't get a chance as our server was from Ukraine/Russia and didn't speak French. No biggie. The place is much larger inside that you'd guess looking at it from the front. There are extensive bakery cases filled with all sorts of lovely pastries and breads along one side. We sat at a "socially distanced" table. To drink: My husband had a Prosecco (it came in a small individual bottle) and I had a Diet Coke. For lunch, I ordered their prosciutto and fig jam sandwich on a baguette. It also had brie and a few thinly sliced pieces of green apple on it. I chose to leave off the arugula. It was good, but quite sweet. I wish there would have been a bit more brie to counteract the sugary jam. The baguette had a nice and crunchy crust. My husband ordered a croque monsieur -- basically a ham and cheese sandwich which also had melted cheese on the outside. It came with a bit of salad on the side. It didn't look like anything special, but he liked it. Said the ham was good. We passed on the dessert -- although the napoleons and the eclairs were beckoning. So we reluctantly sat inside. The dining room was busy, but not full. We sat for over 5 minutes without even a greeting, so between this visit and the one before it, we decided that this place simply has horrible service . If you're willing to forgo good table service for good food, then this may be the place for you.
