I'm always looking for a place and I haven't been till I always check out Yelp and everything looked good on the website and it was close by so my friend and I decided to go by I must say I was quite surprised first it wasn't that easy to find it's behind a gas station near a hotel which makes it off the beaten track, but I'm sure they get most of the business from all the office buildings around there we had the tuna salad wrap which was delicious and we also had a piece of the lemon cake. Located in a short/small strip mall right in the heart of so many corporate parks (The Park @ Broken Sound and BRIC, formerly T-Rex)... On the south end of the plaza is The Seed and that's where we were headed for coffee... At the last minute I decided I was hungry but I wasn't in the mood for danish or other lite bites that The Seed offers (as good as they are). So we decided to check out Fresco (which we only discovered when we drove by in the parking lot). Turns out they have been around for quite sometime and it was obvious they are in business to service the workers/staff in the area since they are closed on weekends and only serve breakfast and lunch. They have juices and coffees and smoothies... I ordered the STRAW-NANA (strawberry and banana); loved it. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches and wraps; plus platters and bagels; plenty of options. My wife got their TORANI WRAP (eggs, tomatoes and sautéed spinach but she excluded the provolone). She loved her wrap. The menu has a very impressive lunch section... wraps, salads, panini sandwiches and overstuffed sandwiches and THEY ARE NOT BASIC. The combinations and ingredients bring out the appetite for sure. I ended up trying their FIRENZE PANINI (grilled chicken breast with roasted red peppers, sautéed baby spinach, provolone and pesto aioli); this sh#t was delicious. And the Ciabatta bread was so delicious. In addition to all these menu options, they have a lot of other offerings in their glass case(s)... I tried one of their bakery offerings (dry but good). MOST IMPORTANTLY... these owner(s)/staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Great coffee, great breakfast, and really the only good breakfast around the BRIC/Yamato area. Unfortunately, they have to compete with trendy Seed right next door, but the coffee is just as good, and the food is much better. That's just my take, I go to both, but I prefer Fresco. read more

I went back last week to pick up a sandwich. I learned the place sold and I met the new owner. He told me everything was going to be the same. Unfortunatley, I didn't find this to be the case. Take a look at my panini. I see a lot of bread & a small amount of grilled chicken on this sandwich. I know it's a balancing act with prices and cost of goods but I would prefer to see a little more of the featured protein on the sandwich. read more

I found myself a bit early on a Monday morning showing up here at Fresco... not a problem they opened the doors early to accomadate and that was just the beginning of their great service. Great little spot for a quick lunch with a large menu. Ordered the counter and take it to go or sit at the few tables inside out outside. We tried the caprese salad, Mediterranean salad and the Brooklyn Bridge sub. The caprese was pretty basic but a bit pricey for not having a protein. The Mediterranean salad was very good and the Brooklyn Bridge was an Italian sub packed with meat on soft bread. It could have used some dressing. They also have breakfast, coffees and smoothies. Every time I passed this place, there was always a line at the counter and this has been for at least 7 years ago. Yesterday I was in the mood for a real good, healthy sandwich, and needed to make it a quick lunch, so I stopped in. It was pretty apparent to me that 1.), They know all their regular customers, because they greeted them like they have been friends for years and 2.) I saw what was coming off the counter and these sandwiches and wraps were STUFFED with meat and vegetables. Fresco has 2 menus. The regular menu with Panini's, Wraps and OVERSTUFFED sandwiches, and an assortment of 11 great salads on this menu. They also serve a great variety of breakfasts on Bagels, Biscuits, Croissants and Wraps. There is also a whole section for smoothies. A lot of decisions to make here. The Second Menu is their Weekly Special Menu. This does not have just a couple specials on it, but several items in addition to their regular menu: Breakfast specials, more Lunch items on Pita bread, more wraps and a special salad, and MORE smoothies. Even more decisions to make. All I had to do is order at the counter with their very friendly servers, give them a side order, and a drink, which you can serve yourself from the fountain. They do have a large menu of coffees as well, hot an iced. I paid at the counter, gave them my name and in 10 minutes, my meal came up. I ordered the California Club, which sounded perfect. Great flavor with a huge portion of Turkey, Applewood smoked Bacon which gave this great extra flavor, guac with pesto all on a spinach wrap. The Turkey was layered so thick, I barely finished it. Was perfect and healthy and I was stuffed. That was their regular sandwich too, not the overstuffed sandwich. This could of been served cold or hot, and I chose hot since I ordered to stay there and eat. For breakfast or lunch, there is so much to chose from and the staff has this down to a science, so that you can get in and out quickly. They also have carry out and delivery, which is great for the number of businesses in the area. Fresco serves the most GENEROUS portions I have seen anywhere around here, and for that reason and for their focus on service, I will be coming here and ordering for delivery often. As a matter of fact , I am writing this waiting for my Zesty Tuna Salad Wrap to be delivered. Looks like I found the answer here. read more

This place is on its way to becoming my go-to breakfast place. Of course, it helps that Fresco is five minutes away from my office, but also their menu is great, which I am in the process of enjoying. They have a nice location off of Yamato and Broken Sound Boulevard, where they serve breakfast and lunch. I had their special breaded chicken and egg biscuit sandwich, which was quite lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Additionally, I ordered a side of bacon... because bacon, which I also enjoyed. The menu looks quite tasty and impressive for sandwiches and breakfast stuff and bagels, so I will be checking this out more over the coming weeks. I was on vacation so suggestions are always helpful. My cousin works nearby and couldn't say enough great things about this place. He said the egg is so fluffy you can't believe it's real. I had to check it out for myself. It was early morning and very busy. They seem to do a lot of take out orders and I know why. The food was delicious. I had my go to. Bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel was as it should be. Chewy inside and crunchy outside. The egg was fluffy and flavorful. Bacon cooked well. The insides were stuffed generously. Breakfast is always on point, really tasty and usually wholesome feeling. Lunch is delicious but also hit or miss. My suggestion is to pick a favorite and order it until the produce a bad one and then move on to the next viable option for a while until they mess that up and then rotate that pattern with the lunch menu options. Tried this place today for the first time although it's just a few minutes from my house. I ordered their egg and cheese, with cheddar cheese, on a multigrain bread which was thick and soft and yummy and had it for Breakfast at work.
