Can't go wrong with their pizza! Really great place and people. Can't believe I have overlooked this gem for so long.

First of all. Excellent service! The food was really good as well. Definitely a place to come back to and to tell your friends about.

The boyfriend is a strong advocate for New York style pizza since he was raised in Long Island and thus, naturally he knows good pizza. When we first started dating, the boyfriend introduced me to Lil' Ricci's, which became our go to Friday Night stop. We usually order a large pepperoni pizza and 2 beers (I always get a Blue Moon with an orange). Since being introduced to Lil' Ricci's, I have not been able to find ANY place as good. Even when the boyfriend and I went to New York City this past fall, the pizza fell just shy of Lil' Ricci's. Why is the food so good at Lil' Ricci's? If I had to guess its because of the sauce. It has all the right flavors and it taste great on anything they put it on. I once ordered stuffed shells and they were out of this world! Seriously I have never had anything at Lil' Ricci's I didn't like. Its like stepping out of Colorado and right into New York. Eight slices of heaven. Go there. Order a large pepperoni pizza. Eat it there for the first time. Don't take it out. Yes, it's still good when you order out, but its even better when you order it in, and eat the pizza right out of the oven. AHHHHHH. Seriously, I am drooling just thinking about it. I will have to eat there this week just to get over this incredible craving I just started. Yes, it is that good! Now, I have heard that there are other lil' Ricci's in other parts of town that are not so good. Allow me to clarify that I speak of the Lil' Ricci's off Parker Road and Orchard. I do not take responsibility for any bad taste or disappointment brought on by going to any other Lil' Ricci's. On a side note, if you happen to be a Jet's or Met's fan (as the boyfriend is) this place is also for you. read more

Ate at Lubos again the other night. Had a carry out calzone (i think it was the Lubos calzone) along with sticks and stones. Great great great as usual. Pry could have done with out the sticks and stones because as my wife said "I forgot how big their calzones are". And yes the calzone was shared between me. my wife, and 21 month old. read more

This is my go-to pizza place in the neighborhood. The pizza is really good, even if sightless greasy-- but that's just New York pizza! The salads are good too, especially for a place that specializes in pizza. The wait for carry out and dine in can sometimes be long, but that is just because it's a favorite of many! read more

This place is probably the best pizza place in Colorado! Trust me I'm 1/4 Italian so I know good Italian food! This pizza is authentic New York and Italian Pizza. We live right up the street from Lubo's and it is a family favorite. We often ride our bikes to dinner and then share a calzone and a Sampler platter - delicious! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and I love that it is family owned. We also have had football and softball team parties in the party room which was plenty big to accommodate us and again the staff did what they needed to to serve us but also let us do our own thing. I would definitely host a party here again. In short - I love Lubo's! read more

Best pizza ever!! Yes there was a 40 minute wait but we had a beer and that made it seem not so long, so don't go if you're hangry. We went at 7 on a Thursday. Service was great and pretty speedy once we were seated and the food was amazing. read more

This was my 5th visit to this little gem. Wednesday night was particularly busy so we bellied up to the counter. Jamie quickly greeted us, offered us beverages and forewarned us that it would be a bit before our order was taken - given the crowd, that was very reasonable. We ordered pizza and wings and really didn't have to wait that long at all for our delicious meal to arrive. My husband is not easily impressed when it comes to food but he asks for this place by name! The staff are always pleasant and accommodating and the food NEVER disappoints. If you like back east style pizza - LuBo's will quickly become your go-to casual dining spot! read more

1st review ever- Been a bit bummed with the pizza options around the area, so tried LuBo's. Got a basic pepperoni pizza and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great, crust held up, garlic bread with cheese was a bit underwhelming but pizza made up for it for sure, the medium was filling too. I went out of my way to go this eatery previously and I was not disappointed. There are a decent amount of pizza by the slice places in the Denver metro but many disappoint. Lubo's offers a great combination of generous portion size, quality food and affordable prices. I hope in the future they open more locations as their food combined with their selection of decent beers (primarily local micros) makes for a great experience. read more

If you haven't tried their BBQ Chicken Pizza, I'm not sure where you've been! Their BBQ sauce is delicious, different and unique!! The reason why I keep coming back too this place cause it's addictive!! LuBo's atmosphere feels very family oriented and very friendly. The crust is hand toss and you can taste the difference! Also you gotta try their Garlic Knots and Wings which are delicious as well!! Several things transpired for a the 2 star review. -#1 Disappointment was the service and some of the food, see below for more. -atmosphere / kids running around all over the place. The restaurant has no control over this however just annoying when you are trying to eat and kids are playing tag between the tables. Common! -small beer selection. -we ordered the mix sample for an appetizer which was ok but for the burned green beans and cheese sticks that exploded leaving empty shells of breading. (See pics) -i also ordered some hot wings - extra cristy. They came out almost raw and very soggy. (See pics) -i would have sent things back however the water never came back to ask how everything was or to refill our drinks, ECT. The bus boy brought the check who we told about our problems and said he would return. After 5min of waiting we just left. -1 star for the good pizza and 1 star as it seemed like a popular place. -minus 3 stars for poorly cooked food and bad service. I can only recommend the pizza and best to order it to go. Verry disappointed as i was hoping to have found a new hang out spot. :-( read more

Love our neighborhood pizza joint! The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is great. Two suggestions that would have us true "regulars"...a true colorado craft beer experience. To live in the craft beer Capitol of the U.S. and only have fat tire as a "craft option" is a sin. Just go with cans/bottles....if draft is an issue...Oskar Blues, Ska, Lone Tree Brewery....support the small locals....or something! Please rescue us from Old Chicago!! Secondly, promote the back room more (it could a great space) with an actual bartender....maybe some booths...a flat screen or 3.... Really good, but could be soooo much better. read more

Always love this place. Paul was amazing for an end of soccer season party for about 30 people. If your looking for a place with good food and large party room, this is a no brainer. This is our new favorite pizza place. Garlic cheese bread has cheese on every bite. Pizza by the slice is exceptional especially when you want three different types of pizza. Service is awesome and very customer service friendly. Spaghetti and calzones are out of this world. They have very delicious salads too. read more

Service is usually pretty poor (long wait times for ordering/ receiving food, getting someone to take payment) but the pizza is excellent. I've eaten other things there but it's pretty generic. The pizza is what you want to order. We go with the LuBo special. read more

Wow. What took me so long to come here. We live in the area and drive by all the time saying we need to go here. Well today we did and they did not disappoint. Lobby is kinda small and a kids soccer team with parents had taken over :) we were told about 15-20 min. During that time we were checked on repeatedly and told they would get us seated ASAP. We were promptly served and the pizza was AMAZING!!! Might be one of the best sports in Denver. Definite hidden gem. read more

Second time eating here. First time was ecstatic about the quality and taste. These folks have major problem with consistency of product coming out of the kitchen. We ordered the house combo and a single kids pizza. Kids pizza had visible more meat visible than our combo. Actually pulled meat off kids pizza to put meat on our combo. Service was slow and dysfunctional. We were not sure who our waiter was! Actually think we talked with him twice, maybe three times. Confusion was from a lack of introduction. For quality of product, I will drive out of the way and order from big bill's. For a quick Ny style pizza, I will consider returning to lubo's. read more

Oh Boy !!!!!! I finally found it --- A really great pie. One that is as close to a NY pie as I'm going to get in Denver. Growing up, Pizza had a pretty thin crust that was cooked just long enough to get the dough taste out, without becoming craker-like. Toppings were simple; a long simmered sweet sauce with tons of EVOO, and a ton of cheese. The crust should bend with the weight of all the sauce, cheese and grease. This is pretty much what I got last night when I order a Large Xtra Cheese at Lil' Ricci's -- definately closer then any other pizza joint with the name NY or NJ in it. They don't deliver, and they don't have fresh herbs ( roasted garlic or fresh basil), but minor points that I can live with-- this is for sure the best pie in Denver Metro. Yeah !!! read more

I bought my daughter and son in law to your restaurant when they were visiting from California (I have been to your restaurant once before). When I walked in T. Greeted us and we asked him to put on the truck race and he was quick to do it which we were very happy about, T was very courteous, hospitable, and polite. Took our order and made recommendations which we accepted and we're very happy with. He was an EXCELLENT waiter and the food was great Italian food. By chance stopped by for some pizza yesterday and had a great time while we were there. Our waiter Paul was exceptional, funny and very vigilant to our table - provided the best of service. We all enjoyed our different types of Pizza we ordered and in particular enjoyed the atmosphere with the Rockies playing on one channel and something else on the other big screen. The music was turned on just right, we enjoyed having a conversation and being able to hear each other. We definitely will be returning. We hope Paul is there when we go again!!! read more
