Ordered delivery to my friends house the other night. Spent a long time checking out the menu & finally settled on the Mac n cheese wedges & a supreme style "thin crust" pizza. Typically I don't love thin crust but this wasn't that thin & I was totally fine with that. This pizza was bomb!! Even tho the delivery took a little longer (it was a rainy Dec evening) it was still fresh & super tasty! The Mac n cheese wedges were a tiny bit soggy by the time they reached us but still really good. We did delivery directly from the yelp page so with the extra fees it was a bit ridiculously priced but I paid for the extra convenience. Would def try it again & would love to dine in! read more

Pizza was really good NY style. It was very good and the service was good my only compliant is that a single medium pesto pizza with 3 topping was north of 30 bucks. It's pretty pricey so I personally can't eat here all the time for the price. However, that being said it is excellent pizza. read more

I've tried tons of different pizza restaurants near Aurora since I go to the hospital for blood transfusions twice a week and LuBo's has got to be the #1 best I've ever had ANYWHERE. The cheese, sauce, and crust are all perfect which makes the perfect pizza. The customer service here is incredible as well, the workers are SO friendly! And the food was done relatively quick! I will always like LuBos the most out of any pizza place I've ever been to and will continue to come back for life. read more

Being from NY I wouldn't say this is quite up to NY standards, BUT it is pretty good. Portions are massive and they definitely don't mess around if you ask for extra cheese. Both pizzas and pastas are good, salad is pretty standard. Garlic knots were sub par. Service is ok, could be better. Sometimes it seems like the servers are not on the same page and things take a bit longer than they should. read more

I think you can really judge a pizza by three things... Cheese, sauce, crust... THAT being said, when I order a pizza for the first time I order a plain cheese. I tried their cheese pizza here and wasn't too impressed. I would say it ok. It's not terrible but it's not the best. Average would be the word. They are cooked through a conveyor oven. My pizza wasn't cooked to perfection like I am used to. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side. I like sweet don't get me wrong but there has to be a balance of sweetness with the rest of the ingredients in the sauce. I think that I'd stick to a Anthony's for a REAL taste of NY style pizza if that is what you're after. Otherwise Lil' Ricci's is decent. The customer service was great! Thanks for that!! We ate there recently and really enjoyed the food. The service was attentive and friendly and my Little Ricci's Hero was excellent. Also ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza with jalapenos and it was just as good (thin crust). Food quality is excellent, place is clean and they have a lot of televisions. We were looking for a new Italian place in the Aurora area and came across LuBo's. We walked in and the place was kind of busy, especially for a snowy night. Good sign. We were greeted immediately and sat immediately. The staff were very upbeat and all seem to love their job. We ordered a pitcher of beer, a calzone and chicken parmesan. When the food arrived I was in heaven. The food looked amazing! The calzone was huge!! I couldn't get enough of the chicken parm. It was cooked to perfection and oozing in marinara sauce and fried melted cheese on top. It is making my mouth water thinking about it right now. Excellent restaurant. I've been going here for years. They are one of the best authentic NY style pizza places I've ever found. LuBo's is our regular Friday night pizza and we are never disappointed. I also love the anti pasta salad with Balsamic Vinegrette. It's a GREAT salad. And the Yo Yo pasta is also incredibly yummy. The staff is efficient and friendly, and completes the experience. We usually get take out, but whether we eat there or at home, we always get served quickly and warmly. They have a great neighborhood, family, casual atmosphere. Lubo's is a neighborhood joint with a great local atmosphere. Open kitchen and very friendly staff, the hostess asked if we would be willing to move to accommodate a larger party and they bought our first round to say thanks! These guys even offer a military discount for service members! Portions are large, ingredients are fresh, and salads are on point. No full bar. I strolled into here one lonely weekday afternoon. Immediately I was greeted my friendly staff, a living room, and a long bar with a view of the kitchen and some TV's. I ordered a blue moon, and two slices of cheese and green olive NY-style pizza. The pizza here is EXACTLY what it should be, according to me, a Colorado boy. Thin, chewy but slightly crisp, with a selection of toppings to make your head spin. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. Just go here. It's good. read more

We had to wait a little bit, but it was well worth it. Our server was extremely nice and very attentive. He made some recommendations and we decided on the garlic cheese bread, macaroni wedges and a white peperoni pizza. The cheese bread was great! It had a lot of cheese and just the right amount of garloc butter. The macaroni wedges were alright, but ranch made them better. The pizza was delicious! The crust wasn't too crispy or too gooey. There was just the right amount of white sauce and peperoni. It wasn't overly greasy either. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try their thick crust. read more

First time here last night. The BBQ chicken pizza is amazing!! The sauce is sort of mustardy and so good. Our server Tresner or "T" recommended it and brought us a sample of the sauce before we ordered it. Also followed T's suggestion to add red onions. Yum! Great service from T and delicious food. Visiting from Arizona and decided to enjoyed lunch today at LuBo's. We sat at the counter to watch the women's soccer game as we ate. We ordered a DJ hero and a sausage hero. Both toasted, huge and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. We can't wait to try their pizzas when we come back. read more

We have been going here for over a decade. Great pizza, good service, and a menu broad enough that we can easily accommodate family and friends that don't want pizza. The atmosphere is relaxed, a little loud during peak times. Sports always on one of the tv's. Friendly service and respectable prices. The comments about greasy pizza are a mystery to me as we haven't experienced than any time we've visited. Unless they are complaining about the grease released by pepperoni when you cook it...which is normal and indicates pepperoni yumminess! We get a pizza from LuBo's at least once a week. Their sausage is the best I've tasted outside Italy, and their marinara sauce is very delicately flavored. They have several other very tasty items on the menu, including their spaghetti and meatball subs. For such good food, their prices are reasonable, and the people who work at LuBo's are always pleasant, polite, and efficient. In all the times we've ordered from there, and no matter how busy the restaurant is (and it's very busy on Fridays) our order has always been correct, complete, and ready when promised. A glass so cold you needed gloves to hold on to it. The beer so close to freezing it was almost a slushy. The pitcher itself must have just came out of a freezer. Always! Always! Amazing. We have been coming here for 12 years. I feel like Norm from cheers, we walk in and we are greeted by everyone. It is a very friendly family oriented place, but can also host small business meetings. I have never had anything we didn't like. The pizza and the calzones are spectacular! Even the garlic knots, sticks and stones, and cheese cake....... Amazing! They do get very!!!! Busy but if your not looking for a quick in and out chain pizza place it is well worth the wait. Best pizza ever!!! The thin crust isn't as thin as you'd think a thin crust would be, but that's part of why I loved it so much. We got tomatoes, basil, and ricotta as our toppings. My family and I been going here for a few years. Our routine is once a week for pizza and a veggie salad. Find the place very comfortable and the service is outstanding. They see us so often that they know what our usual order is. They have sandwiches and other things on the menu, but I can't comment on that as I have never eaten anything, but pizza here. Love the food, but how friendly and wonderful they treat their customers is just as important. Place is popular with many folks, but the majority is usually families. Good prices, lots of televisions with sports. Have 2 sides to the restaurant, but the one side they don't use that often. read more
