I could NOT believe the time she spent with me! I think my first session might have lasted about 3 hours. She really took the time to get to know me, my background, my current concerns and goals. I am not the type of person to take time out for myself, especially not 3 hours on a weeknight. Initially, it made me anxious to spend that much time there. I think Jackie KNEW exactly what I needed. I wasn't used to taking time out for ME and it felt very weird, but I realized after my three sessions with Jackie, it was that, that I really needed. I thought the handwriting analyzing she did was really interesting and surprisingly spot on! Jackie is someone who really works hard to get to know her clients and really wants to help people achieve their goals. I left all three sessions SO CALM and feeling so PRESENT. I found my mind not racing a mile a minute over analyzing all of the stressful things I had to do, but instead, I was present and calm with my conversations and it made me feel much more connected to my family. As an accountant I was under a lot of pressure and tensions for so many, many years doing compliance and meeting deadlines, besides trying my best to please clients and my employer not to mention the high competition with other accountants. Stressful life led to a lot of fears and anxiety that became part of my daily living. At times I felt belittled and treated like a second class citizen that resulted on my lack of self confidence, everything I do is not enough. I tried to please everybody to prove myself but doing so made me feel I was taken advantage and my generosity and hospitality was overused , I dwelt on past events throughout my life and kept playing the recording over and over on my head for so many years that resulted on having all kinds of symptoms [acid reflux, back and neck pain, high blood pressure, high glucose] that all the doctors I have seen had told me the same thing, cause of the symptoms is STRESS because of FEARS AND ANXIETY. I have seen different health care professionals over time, but the symptoms never go away and at times has gotten worse. Until one day I woke up feeling so nervous for no reason at all, I was shaking and felt like I was going out of my mind. This episode led me to research for an alternative solution besides or instead of taking medications. I found an article about Hypnotherapy, which I absolutely know nothing about, my search led me to Luca Bosurgi's method which I enrolled 12 seesions. For the first time in my life I heard about SELF-PARENTING , Luca gave me a good insight on what causes my fears, anxiety, worries, panic and anxiety attacks, and gave a lot of inputs on how things that happened in our lives from childhood has a great impact on what or how we are dealing with all the circumstances in our life. He thought me be my own parent, give myself lots of love, protection and guidance. I practice his method and applied the gift of love in dealing with any kinds of situation. For me LOVE AND FORGIVENESS is the real key in finding my inner peace and strength which is within me all the time never knew about it until I learned how to love myself first, then let that love flow naturally to those around me, my environment and the universe. I've tried several of things in the past and nothing really helped with my issue. I tried Therapy and reading the self help books, trying different things, but I learned that was all just trying to sand the surface. My first visit to Luca was a bit nerve wrecking, because I thought to myself this is probably going to be another something that will keep me at bay. After the first session I felt a difference and as weeks passed on I felt more confident, happier, and all the anxiety I felt in the past is now love and strength! He helped me work through a lot of things that happened to me in the past and all of a sudden I felt this excitement for life!!! I never imagined in my wildest dreams it would get this good and it keeps getting better day by day. Thank you Luca for saving me. As a big girl, I cry very easily and mainly from anxiety and fear of others. For many years I battled with confronting the crowd of NYC, Philly and now LA... As I walked on the sidewalks of the big city, my breath got short, and not only because I'm big, but more because I get so nervous it takes me forever to go from one point to the other. Luca is an incredibly gifted and caring individual and helped me immensely with my anxiety and lifelong co-dependency issues. I've learned so much from him in my 13 sessions and have had many improvements. I no longer have an insatiable need for approval from others and I've learned to take control over my mind and parent myself and provide my mind with love and protection. It's easier to make decisions and function on a day to day basis. I have more confidence and I am enjoying life more! While it hasn't solved and healed everything to the extent that I had hoped I only attribute that to my insane 60-65 hour work schedule as I was only able to attend 1 session a week (2x is recommended) and feel that my progress was slower. Luca Bosurgi has helped me overcome many past hurts in my primary relationships and other relationships. I come from a dysfunctional background, and had been doing inner work and group therapy for about 8 months before seeing Luca Bosurgi. I believe fate led me to Bosurgi and his practice. I had an awareness at the time of things I wanted to change and I was ready for the change. In only 2 weeks time, I began to feel drastic changes in the way I perceived people and myself. Sufferers of SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER REJOICE! I am 21, and had suffered from Paruresis, a social anxiety disorder for over 5 years, not being able to pee in public places. The problem had escalated to a level where I couldn't pee in the privacy of my own home. I was in a constant state of discomfort, and feared I had to deal with this problem for the rest of my life. I have gone to weekly therapy for years and although I believe it was beneficial, there was a significant life issue I could not find resolution to. I found Luca online and contacted him along with two other Santa Monica Hypnotherapists. After speaking to all three, I chose to take advantage of his free consultation. Luca has made a massive shift in my life for the better. I didn't know how bad things were until things got better (results were even within the first few sessions). He's removed my anxiety and helped me come out of my shell to experience life and interact with the world around me. I'm much more confident in myself, much less anxious and things in my life just generally feel good. His work is effective, and the results are more than you'd expect. My life would be so different (harder, more of a struggle, more anxiety) if I hadn't have found Luca. If you're thinking about working with him, just at least try a session. Luca is a very present and genuine therapist. He guided me through a very difficult break up that left me paralyzed with emotional dependency. I didn't know what to expect the first time I went to see Luca. Little did I know that meeting him would be a life altering experience. I was having issues with anxiety, nausea, anger, depression, and a lack of self confidence. After a few sessions, my symptoms began to disappear. I started to notice the beauty in life and began to experience the joy that we all deserve to have. Listening to Luca with an open mind showed me that there is much more to life than what I saw. I have learned a great deal from Luca. He is an amazing teacher and the work we did together helped me through a number of challenges I was facing. Admittedly I was a little reluctant to undertake hypnosis as I was somewhat skeptical. However, I don't think I could have made the leap as efficiently without Luca's help. I can't begin to say how much Luca Bosurgi has helped me. I had major post partum depression and had been to all kinds of therapies and taken medication that helped only for a short period of time.
