WOW! What a unique and pleasant find! I stumbled upon Wildflour on my way to work one morning. This place is truly a hidden gem, located in Nineveh just between Princess Lakes and Camp Atterbury. I loved the mix of food, pastries, and a THRIFT SHOP!! I was able to browse around for a hidden the while waiting on my breakfast sandwich. Although I did not purchase anything, they had a lot of nice items at great prices. The breakfast bagel was delicious! The service was fast, friendly, and spot on. This is a great small town gem. The fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and lunch are always fresh and great. My grandson lives the donuts and I'm a self proclaimed cinnamon roll junkie always in search of the best worldwide. The owner and staff are always welcoming too. The decor is nice and clean. Love the small town vibe. We had the traditional cinnamon roll and the maple PECAN one too. My only negative was the rolls seemed slightly underbaked but I would much prefer that then the typical cooked way too much at other places. read more

This is a down home country store that offers baked goods, breakfast and lunch. There is an ample amount of parking available on the side and in the front. During my visit they had a limited selection of baked goods. There were some pies, cookies and some cakes in the refrigerator. They do not have a fountain drink machine. They offer bottled drinks. For breakfast they serve biscuits and gravy, steak, egg and cheese, tater tot bowl and the big country breakfast. There are also some hot and ice coffee selections available. The guy working the counter was very friendly. The place is more like a store/bakery that serves food. In addition to their food, they sell candles and clothing. There is very limited seating available. There are two picnic tables, with umbrellas out front and one table inside. For lunch I had to choose between chicken salad sandwich, tenderloin sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, turkey club, ham and swiss and turkey melt. I went with the turkey melt and got a side of tator tots. They also have ambrosia salad and fries as sides. It took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready and it was good. I liked the flavor. It was also a ton of food. I left there full. This is a neat little spot near Camp Atterbury where you can get some java, a savory breakfast, and a delicious baked good. The search for the best pork tenderloin sandwich is over and well worth the drive to Nineveh. Wildflower is relatively new, yet the parking lot is always full. The locals know. They specialize in ice cream, breakfast dishes and lunch sandwiches, but also have cases full of delicious-looking baked goods. Back to the hand-breaded tenderloins, which were featured on their sign outside. I called ahead and ordered takeout tenderloins with fries $10.50. The clerk was very friendly and said the sandwiches would be ready in 15 minutes. When we arrived, the sandwiches were ready and the dining room was empty, so we stayed to eat. There are two small dining area with a total of seven tables. The second room also serves as a gift shop and is filled with country themed gifts. The sandwiches were served with cole slaw and fries (deluxe) and normally only come with chips. The sandwiches were served on a brioche roll and were piping hot. The tenderloin was thicker than others that I have tried. The breading was special - crispy and spicy. The pork was very tender and juicy with fabulous flavor. I added lettuce, tomato and red onion that was included with the sandwich. The fries were good - light and crispy. There are two small tables outside and a walk up window for ice cream. There is only parking for about seven cars. You could miss the building if you didn't know what you are looking for. I recommend highly. I'll be back. read more

My friend felt like she failed at her homemade biscuits (to be clear, she did not and I may or may not have eaten nearly all the biscuits she 'failed' at making) so she popped down the street and picked up half a dozen of biscuits from Wildflour. Hear me when I say these are country biscuits made with LOVE. Big, fluffy biscuits just waiting for homemade strawberry jam. Like now I want to drive an hour away to eat one of these biscuits. THAT good. I popped in on a separate occasion (but with the same biscuit mission because um hello they are they best) and this shop is cute, y'all. Just feels so homey inside! I ordered a lemon dessert. I can't remember the exact name but was in their window of wildly delicious looking goodies. Itt was next level good. I think the crust was made with lorna doone and if you know those cookies you know why this was such a delightful surprise. Then layers of lemon curd and cream. YUM. I'll be back to try some breakfast and lunch items but clearly will always get a biscuit. read more

This is a fairly new place down in Nineveh, IN. This was our second time trying it out on our way home from the lake. My in-laws have a place on cordry lake so we have to go right past to get home. This time around their donuts were pretty picked through. Their tenderloins are bomb as well as all of their sides. All tenderloins came in like a basket with a side of fries and either a side of coleslaw or potato salad. And I know what your thinking potato salad and French fries wowza that's alot of potatoes, but both were very delicious and I don't regret my decision of getting both. Overall this place is super cute and really good, I just wish it wasn't all the way down there. They also have stuff inside that you can buy, people's artwork and whatnot. read more

What an unbelievable hidden gem. We were staying in Nashville, Indiana over the weekend, took a drive randomly on Sunday morning through Morgantown and ended up in Ninevah. Oh my - where to begin? Husband and wife own and manage this little jewel. Super clean, super friendly and super breakfast. Honestly, even a rave review won't do Wildflour justice - highly, highly recommend for many reasons. We had breakfast - beyond ample portions. Reasonable priced. I would have taken a cup of Lavazza coffee to go, as is my favorite - but couldn't squeeze in even a sip after my french toast. Steady traffic in, people ordered, quick friendly service. Saw outside dining as an option too. Decor is fun and welcoming. Also a mix of cute gift items peppered in. Will we be back next time through? Absolutely. What an amazing locally owned and operated bakery! One of my all time favorite discoveries in Indiana. Moving here from the East Coast I absolutely love the atmosphere and friendliness of the owners. They have a wonderful selection of baked goods, pies, made to order breakfast and lunch menu, delicious coffee, and a well decorated interior with items for sale! The fresh Sourdough bread is the best I have ever had, the tenderloin sandwich is by far the most flavorful, and the fresh doughnuts are addicting. If you are ever in Nineveh or near by this place is a must stop to take a break and enjoy some great food and good company! read more

So many great options from cinnamon rolls and other bakery items to delicious savory tenderloin platter with eggs, potatoes and biscuits and gravy (that's what I get pretty much every time). Great portions and service. The family that works it are the nicest people. I'd recommend if you are coming from further away to call ahead as they close sometimes for spring breaks, etc. this really is probably only a few times a year but I've made the trek and pulled in and realized they were closed. They also have kolaches and desserts. Just so many options so little time. Highly recommend going to this place as I think you'll be back time and time again. read more

So thankful to have this wonderful restaurant in little Nineveh. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. The person complaining about the biscuits and gravy clearly is not a foody and has no idea what they're talking about. For the record I'm a huge fan of Bob Evans, but the biscuits and gravy here are much better and the serving size is much bigger. And apparently the poster is not aware of the current inflation crisis and the impact it's having on small businesses like the Wildflour. I recommend everyone come check out the Wildflour for breakfast and lunch. i also enjoy Grillerz and El Potro, and I hope they all stay in business and thrive. read more

I never drive by this place without stopping. I come through town a few times a month and always stop in for a coffee and breakfast sandwich/burrito in the mornings or a tenderloin/Turkey melt in the afternoons. Very expensive for what you get. Ordered 3 biscuits and gravy and the bill was 30$ I've had better biscuits and gravy at bob evans for half the price. I wouldn't care to spend that much if it was good food but it wasn't. Now that grillerz around the corner is serving breakfast I bet this place doesn't stay in business long with those prices. read more
