    pecan cinnamon roll

Love this place! Seriously yummmy chi tea latte and i'm super picky as i only drink chi tea lattes. Super cute shop as well! The lemon blueberry scone is delightful along with the pecan cinnamon roll. Was impressed with both options. Wish they had gluten free options because i know they would be super yummy ! Service is alright a little slow but i did go at a time where they were really busy!

Madison & Main is a trendy upscale coffee shop that serves sandwiches and salads. Their signature pastries are mind blowing - huge, beautiful and delicious works of art. The building is interesting because it was the first hospital in Franklin over 100 years ago. They have renovated the structure and the cafe is downstairs and a work space is upstairs. The staff is super friendly and will walk around filling coffee cups and chat. There is a real small town feel with lots of positive vibes. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Prices are reasonable. Food comes out quickly. I had the chicken salad. The salad greens and tomatoes were fresh and the chicken salad very good, with lots of nuts and creamy chicken. My husband had a seasonal pumpkin danish that was the size of a Frisbee. The crust was buttery and flakey. He loved it. We parked near the courthouse and walked. I think there is closer parking across the street. Definitely worth a visit.

We were traveling through and stoped here (about 2 miles off the freeway). It was such a delight! Friendly service, great food, and atmosphere. Strongly recommended.

    London Fog Latte

Went here while I was on one of my adventures. Greeted with a smile and the cashier was patient as I asked questions about what teas they serve. Very busy place, yet I found a spot on a stool over by their space where they have various merchandise such as tees, fresh local peanut butter and candles to name a few of the items. When you order they will call out your name for you to grab your drink and if you order food you will be given a number to place in one of the wood blocks spread throughout the shop. Even though it was busy the spot I sat seemed away from all the bustle around me. Everyone is helpful and when you finish they will take away your dirty plates and cups. My only complaint is that I live further away and only get to go here once a month or so... The quiche and fruit cup are very good. They also have cocktails that I will be back to try another day as today I just got a London Fog Latte.

So many good food options for a brunch or a lunch! The coffee was amazing not to mention how different it felt from a Starbucks. I loved this little corner shop to start my day with. I got the lemon blueberry scone while my group got the breakfast sandwich and the quiche which they said were quite delicious. The service wasn't fast but wasn't slow. We got our food and drinks to go. The drinks were pretty fast in coming out but the food came out to us in pieces for a to go order which was quite confusing and we almost left without the quiche since it came out separately... I would definitely suggest eating there as it has a great vibe and then you don't miss any food that comes out in pieces. The staff were very nice and kept the line going as we visited when they were starting to get slightly busy.

I had lunch with friends at Main and Madison. It was such a cute place. We sat upstairs and I enjoyed the tomato soup and a carmel latte. The latte was delicious! The soup was so good and came with some type of scone/ bread. I will most definitely be back.

been here several times and should have left a review sooner, they treat us right every time with great service, and the ambience is warm and inviting, and the pastries are huge, and the coffee is great. haven't had a chance to stay long enough for lunch and mixed drinks but hoping to do that soon!

Seen this place advertised on Yelp so put it on my places to try. This morning I took my granddaughter here for breakfast. I got the vanilla latte and the bagel ham, and cheese. She ordered the croissant with chocolate inside. I also ordered the 7 layer bar. Total was $27. Wow I was surprised$$ The place is very nice looking inside and definitely hip. Close to Franklin College. They also serve Bloody Marys and wine. Not sure I will go back but only because of the cost. I was very disappointed when we left from eating inside we forgot our 7 layers bar and the other half of her chocolate croissant. I wanted to eat it later.

Wonderful food and great atmosphere friendly employees.

I ordered a grilled cheese along with a sugar pie slice and a London fog. They have other baked good options which looked good too. The grilled cheese was very small and I think cheese got into the pan because it was also cooked onto the bottom side of the sandwich. It was a very small grilled cheese. The London fog tasted quite strong and the sugar pie didn't really stand out. There were other items on the menu though that I'd love to try if I ever go back. What I think took this down to 3 stars was the service. When I went to order, I was just stared at and I thought maybe they weren't ready for me yet but they were. There was just no greeting of "Hi, welcome in" or even a "What can I get for you?" It was just a stare and silence. Now the staff were not unkind...they certainly seemed friendly but that lack of greeting didn't feel great. Additionally, they were very quiet or mumbled when calling out orders and so it seemed like many people listening never heard their order including me. I also had to ask again for the pie after having paid. I bought a bandana as well and didn't see the price tag. When I asked how much it was the staff member said it was either 12 or 15 dollars. She rang it up as 15 when later I saw the price tag and it clearly said $12. I showed the staff member and she said it was $15 and it was a handwriting issue for the price tag. I rarely write reviews less than five stars but I do think if there could be a bit more initiative from the staff and orders called out more clearly and louder for drinks so they don't spoil that would really help.

And he said the menu will expand again soon. Since I was by myself and he had some time, he sat down and we chatted for awhile. The seating at both restaurants, and you can call them that now since they do not just sell drinks anymore, has been greatly expanded both indoors and outside. He also told me they are working on opening a Plainfield location. I ordered my usual The Slugger on a biscuit for my bread choice (4) with sausage for my meat choice (3) and provolone for my cheese choice (5). It was superb and just how I remembered it from the other location when I was eating breakfast there several days a week about a year ago. I also ordered one Biscuit & Gravy which was excellent as well. I love small local business establishments and cooking. They always have great service and a friendly atmosphere. I gave a different review back when the company had a different name (Roots to Rise) - same ownership - and I hadn't been impressed with their coffee or açaí bowls. With the new branding, I figured I'd visit again & stick to juices. They quickly became my post-yoga stop on weekends. I would have went before work on weekdays but they aren't open early enough for that. Today after I ordered I was warned there were a few orders ahead of me. That knowledge before ordering would have been more helpful. Normally a 5 minute wait or so, I was guessing a 15 minute wait would be reasonable. I went outside listened to 3 songs, back in, still no drink, went back out- 2 more songs, back in, still nothing. Ordered at 11:15, drink was done at 11:51. I think good business would have been upping my size for free, or a coupon, or even a thanks for your patience. A simple, "Thanks," while kind enough, caught me off guard. Any gesture to recognize that wait was unreasonably long would have sufficed. The juice was still delicious, I can't lie. I don't know if it's staffing (2 employees on Sat. morning- no Now Hiring sign tho) or what, but if you are in any kind of time crunch, I'd probably avoid the wait. If you are on vacation time- by all means- go enjoy their offerings. I realize it's what comes with a small business, but also something to recognize an unusually long wait would also be a small business quality. I'm disheartened by this. Greenwood is very slack on fresh juice options, although I saw an Ever-Well going in on 31.
