The cafe is upscale and cute. However, the acoustics are terrible. Conversations were loud amd you can hear everything from the opposite side of the cafe. The noise was unbearable. Our server was friendly but seemed to get distracted by her phone. At lunch time, it took a while to take our order. I rarely complain about service. We heard the bell ring signifying our order was ready but she was at the coffee counter busy on her phone. She didn't pick ip our food until a second ringing of the bell. She did check on us and keep water full. So the food is ok. My husband had the burger, which was hand prepared, juicy and delicious. I had the Chicken Velvet soup and the bits of chicken were tough and dry. I also had an Ultimate BLT which was good with thick cut bacon and thin sliced avocado. So, it's probably not the place to come if you are on a quick lunch break. The burgers are good. There's limited parking around the square.

We were in Franklin for a day and got in after lunch and before dinner, so the limbo of time brought us to Court Street Cafe. The space is small and like another commenter said, the acoustics were horrible. You can hear everything being said since it echos. Staff were friendly-ish. Maybe I'm just used to southern hospitality, but the server/cashier/host came across as rude at first and finally showed some kindness after we ordered. Food was okay. You can see the kitchen from the tables and saw bagged potato chips and other store bought items in the back being sold as homemade. I doubt if we're in the area we'd ever go back.

I get together with a good friend once in awhile and we go to lunch. I wanted to explore more new and different places to eat in the Franklin area because she lives there. We decided to try this cafe. She had heard good things about it previously. I looked at their reviews on Yelp and thought it would be a safe and decent choice. It's not a large diner/restaurant. It's deeper than it's wide. It was comfy enough and looked clean and fresh regarding its decor and appearance. It wasn't loud or busy. We both ordered the Tuscan chicken cutlet with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was very good. The amount of food was adequate and the quality was fresh and tasty. The pricing was OK considering all things. I would rate my food an 8 on a ten scale. The service was a 5. Even though they were not busy, I felt our server wasn't attentive to us regarding our basic needs like extra napkins and drink refills. I don't recall her checking on us and asking us how our food was. It's just basic stuff that should happen. I would definitely consider eating there again and trying something else on the menu. They had lots of other very tempting choices to choose from.

The Court Street Cafe is a delightful place - quaint and cozy. The breakfast is prepared fresh and plenty of healthy options from quiche and fruits to stuffed French toast. Today I had a 'farmers ' breakfast - B & G, bacon, eggs, pancake. Sized just right and cooked to perfection. The service was nice, too. It's a smaller venue, but the help is very attentive and helpful to explain the menu. Overall a great experience and will definitely recommend to all. Additionally, Franklin has a farmers market close by on Saturday morning.

Pretty average diner style food. Lots of different burgers to choose from and I went with the grilled cheeseburger. Sourdough bread is always good as a bun, so I liked having that option but there wasn't anything special about the burger itself. Honestly I could make this at home very easily. Fries are not on the menu, so I went with the potatoes that are diced and cooked in a cast iron skillet. Definitely different and they were pretty good fixed that way. There is an up-charge for that - standard side is chips and a pickle. It was just an okay place to eat. I probably won't go back repeatedly but decent if there isn't much else open.

Delicious! At first I thought the prices were just a little high. I changed my mind when I received and ate my food. It's all made from scratch, generous portion, and so good! A small cafe on the square. Loud with customer chatter, but good ambiance. I'd go back.

Went here for the first time today. This is a cozy little cafe where the tables sit close to one another and you just feel like you are somewhere special. The prices are insanely reasonable. My daughter ordered the ultimate BLT which has avocado on it and comes with kettle chips. The sandwich was very good and the bacon was cooked perfectly. I got a full order of biscuits and gravy which is two split biscuits with gravy on top. The flavor was on target but the temperature...well, that was my reasoning for only four stars for this review. The biscuits and gravy were just lukewarm. I didn't say anything because we realized after we had already been seated that the place was closing soon. I know for me, personally, when it's time to leave my place of work, I want to leave - I don't want problems holding me up. So I didn't want my mentioning of my warm food to cause their employees any delays getting off work.

This is a cute little place in downtown Franklin. They have a large selection of items which are all freshly made including the salad dressings. It's a great place for lunch or dinner before going to the Artcraft or poking around all the cute shops downtown. My buffalo chicken grilled cheese was really delicious and my friend's French onion sliders looked tasty as well.....I may have tries a bite.

I ordered a grilled cheese along with a sugar pie slice and a London fog. They have other baked good options which looked good too. The grilled cheese was very small and I think cheese got into the pan because it was also cooked onto the bottom side of the sandwich. It was a very small grilled cheese. The London fog tasted quite strong and the sugar pie didn't really stand out. There were other items on the menu though that I'd love to try if I ever go back. What I think took this down to 3 stars was the service. When I went to order, I was just stared at and I thought maybe they weren't ready for me yet but they were. There was just no greeting of "Hi, welcome in" or even a "What can I get for you?" It was just a stare and silence. Now the staff were not unkind...they certainly seemed friendly but that lack of greeting didn't feel great. Additionally, they were very quiet or mumbled when calling out orders and so it seemed like many people listening never heard their order including me. I also had to ask again for the pie after having paid. I bought a bandana as well and didn't see the price tag. When I asked how much it was the staff member said it was either 12 or 15 dollars. She rang it up as 15 when later I saw the price tag and it clearly said $12. I showed the staff member and she said it was $15 and it was a handwriting issue for the price tag. I rarely write reviews less than five stars but I do think if there could be a bit more initiative from the staff and orders called out more clearly and louder for drinks so they don't spoil that would really help.

I gave a different review back when the company had a different name (Roots to Rise) - same ownership - and I hadn't been impressed with their coffee or açaí bowls. With the new branding, I figured I'd visit again & stick to juices. They quickly became my post-yoga stop on weekends. I would have went before work on weekdays but they aren't open early enough for that. Today after I ordered I was warned there were a few orders ahead of me. That knowledge before ordering would have been more helpful. Normally a 5 minute wait or so, I was guessing a 15 minute wait would be reasonable. I went outside listened to 3 songs, back in, still no drink, went back out- 2 more songs, back in, still nothing. Ordered at 11:15, drink was done at 11:51. I think good business would have been upping my size for free, or a coupon, or even a thanks for your patience. A simple, "Thanks," while kind enough, caught me off guard. Any gesture to recognize that wait was unreasonably long would have sufficed. The juice was still delicious, I can't lie. I don't know if it's staffing (2 employees on Sat. morning- no Now Hiring sign tho) or what, but if you are in any kind of time crunch, I'd probably avoid the wait. If you are on vacation time- by all means- go enjoy their offerings. I realize it's what comes with a small business, but also something to recognize an unusually long wait would also be a small business quality. I'm disheartened by this. Greenwood is very slack on fresh juice options, although I saw an Ever-Well going in on 31.
