Why in the world would I give somebody that when I have no idea what they are going to do what they're going to charge I have not even met the doctor yet! Also if you want to talk about patient privacy when you're at the front desk trying to sign in you can look into two of the patient rooms and watch everything that is being done to you while they are laying down on the table and here what they are talking about ...HIPA Small place. They locked me out ! The front door was locked and had to wait for somebody to unlock it so I could leave.

The staff is always kind, welcoming, and professional from the moment you walk in. I'm big on customer service -- especially in medical settings -- and you can truly feel when people enjoy what they do versus just doing a job. That energy matters. Dr. Ramirez is incredibly informative and educational. She takes the time to explain things and really helped me understand how to better care for my teeth. She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and was very detailed throughout the appointment. You can tell she knows exactly what she's talking about and genuinely cares about her patients. I haven't met the other dentists yet, but after seeing Dr. Ramirez twice, I feel confident calling this my new dental home. And that says a lot -- because I'm not someone who loves going to the dentist! But they make you feel comfortable and at ease. If you're in the far North Dallas area -- Plano, Allen, or the surrounding suburbs -- I highly recommend Bethany Heights Dental. Absolute con artists. I went in looking for a normal cleaning and dental examination. First, it…read moretook them 45 minutes just to get me in. I met with the hygienist, who told me that I had early stage periodontal disease, cavities, and a bacterial infection in my wisdom teeth. I talked to the dentist, who reinforced these things but mentioned that he didn't believe I needed the $800 "deep cleaning" they quoted me for. However, when I asked for a regular cleaning, I was told that they would not be able to do that as I had already been diagnosed with periodontal disease. They also tried to pull on my heart strings by mentioning how periodontal disease could be connected to a history of heart disease in my family. I told them that I could not afford the treatment, and they said that they would walk me out. Without treating or doing anything. The next week, I got a screening done by another dentist who said my teeth were completely fine. These people are money hungry and have no desire to actually care for their patients. Save yourself time and money and don't come to these cons. They should have their license taken away for literally misdiagnosing and manipulating people with the goal to make a dollar.

This practice used to feel like a caring family office, but unfortunately that no longer seems to be the case. Yesterday we encountered dangerous weather and road conditions in our area and called the office to explain the situation. Rather than showing any understanding or concern for safety, the focus immediately became enforcing cancellation fees of $200 for me and my daugher and defending office policy besides insulting me the we had missed/cancelled appoinments over the many years as patients. What was most upsetting was not the fee itself, but the complete lack of empathy and professionalism in how the situation was handled afterward. Their response stated that hazardous driving conditions were our responsibility to "plan accordingly" for, despite the fact that weather conditions can vary greatly by area and can change quickly. We had flash flood warnings and over 4 inches of rain withing a short period of time in Whitesboro yesterday. I was merely calling 90 minutes ahead to inform them of our weather and road conditions and the possibility of running late. In their response to my email later they seem to lay every blame on me. Utterly unprofessional. After more than a decade of loyalty, countless kept appointments, and trusting this office with our family's dental care, it was disheartening to feel reduced to nothing more than a scheduling slot and lost revenue. Policies are understandable. Compassion and common sense should matter when you call youself a family friendly practice. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this office to others looking for a patient-centered dental practice.

Came here for a second opinion on a deep cleaning and I could immediately tell that Dr. Kim and her…read morestaff make her patients' care a priority. Everyone was so kind and seemed to care about me as a person versus just another patient. This was a breath of fresh air because the previous dentist I went to was a nightmare and only seemed to care about charging me for any and everything. I had to fill out paperwork when I arrived but I was seen with little to no wait. Dr. Kim had her hygienist come in to do an exam but did not tell the hygienist why I was getting an exam to prevent any bias. Come to find out both the hygienist and Dr. Kim thought I didn't need a deep clean. Dr. Kim took her time to also evaluate my teeth for cavities and explained and showed me everything with a mirror. What I appreciated most was Dr. Kim prioritized all her findings by severity and encouraged me to get work done on the most pressing issues. For less severe issues she made it a point that if I had any financial issues I could wait it out a little longer to get work done. This is how all dentists should practice--with the patient in mind in all aspects. Thank you so much Dr. Kim and staff for making my experience one of the best dentist experiences I've ever had. This was really helpful for me to figure out a date and time that fits in my busy schedule. The location is in a small strip mall in East Allen. It kind of looks like in the middle of nowhere with a lot of empty land surrounding it. Walking inside, the office is very clean and new. I was greeted by the front desk as well as my dental hygienist and we had a nice conversation about the city of Allen, being that she is a native and I am a new resident. After taking X-Rays, I met with Dr. Anna Kim who was very friendly and fun to talk with (during the times I could talk). She was informative with the current health of my teeth, and she gave me suggestions for preventative care which I appreciated (because my last dentist seemed to always be milking money from me!) At the end of the appointment, I scheduled my next appointment. I also had my husband schedule an appointment with her and I'm sure he will have just as good experience. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Anna Kim and her office. She was very thorough and super friendly, the office was clean and new, and the tools and technology they use are all pretty new.
