Went earlier today to get car inspected. There was no line, just one car in there. Sat for 25 mins waiting (first in line) while the inspection guy joked around with a co-worker and took his time with a car that was obviously in there for another reason (not just a person waiting for a sticker). After waiting until the car drove out (to somewhere in the parking lot) nothing happened. No one was at the inspection center and no one said anything to me. Not going back again. I think you need to bring back the guy who did inspections for years before who always was quick and courteous and professional. Totally unprofessional today. read more

Don't need to . They take care of all my car issues or can advise me where to go for certain issues. We purchased a 2021 VW SUV end of November from Luchetti's. The car originated in Canada we learned from the Carfax and we asked if there were any differences and were told no. We were told at the time of purchase the car had a remaining VW factory warranty and we signed a paper that stated the remaining warranty. I called a local VW dealer to have recalls addressed and was told because it was a Canadian car they may not be able to work on it and there was no warranty and suggested I follow up with VW of America which they also stated there was no warranty. Luchetti's ensured me there was a warranty they just needed to transfer the car into the US. After about 3 weeks of trying to confirm warranty with VW and Luchetti's saying it was all set, we officially got word from VW that there was no warranty and the warranty would never transfer from Canada to US. When we followed up with Luchetti's they continued to say we were covered and when we finally went in due to lack of communication we were given a Can-Am warranty. After a month of chasing down the promised VW warranty and no mention of this outside warranty this is what we were given. After emailing all the facts and not hearing back we asked to speak with the owner. We eventually got an email back which provided options including them buying the car back, which we ultimately decided to do. The car is now listed back on the website with the overview saying it is covered under the factory warranty. Buyer beware. read more

I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for an oil change. They also found a nail in my tire and put a patch in. The reason for my complaint is as follows: The tire repair was done before I was even asked about it. When I was being checked out, I was told by Chris L. that it was going to be $29 for a tire patch which seems extremely expensive. They should have asked me before they went ahead and did the repair. What really made me mad was then Chris L. proceeds to complain that the advertised price for oil changes no longer cuts it and he has to charge $10 more because of shields that need to be removed, special oils, and filters. I know my car takes standard oil and filters. I watched the work on my car through the waiting area window and it did not take long for the tech to remove the shields. In fact I didn't see anyone near my car for at least a half hour or so after the tire was removed. Paying $37 for an oil change for a vehicle that takes standard oil is outrageous. I could go to the dealership and pay less money for an oil change. It's sad because over the years I have spent thousands of dollars at their service center. After this experience I will never go back. I also sent them my complaint through their online customer survey system. No response. read more

The staff is friendly the prices are reasonable and the shop is super clean. These guys are great. I asked a trusted friend who knows everyone who to go to for trustworthy car service and he said there is only one place to go, Lucchetti's. Man, was he right. I am nursing a 14 year old Audi, and these guys keep it running strong. The prices are reasonable, the work is solid and there is more. They finish the job when they say they will finish the job. While you are waiting, there is a clean waiting room with a Keurig coffee machine (if you are into that), but they even drove me to the local Starbucks where I found free wi-fi and could get some work done while they fixed my car. Mike the dispatcher is a no-BS guy who will tell you the good and bad news, schedule your appointment, and get you out of there good as new. These are people you want to go to. This happened a while ago, I thought you should be aware. I have taken my wife's and my cars to said repair shop for years... no longer. The last time I took mine in for an emergency brake and paid 350+ for the repairs, it never was repaired, I questioned the owner and he said they couldn't fix it I was upset they had it for some time and now the tell me this... I asked for my money back and what happened next is not good business. I was told I should seek out car repairs elsewhere (I've been going to Sullivan for a couple years.. Brian the manager and Jim are the best!! the best) and there will be no refund.. where is that bad business excepted. Also if you don't know a lot about a certain repair. Get opinions before going in to them or anyone... they will charge for bogus work!! read more

Had some front end issues with my 2007 Jeep Wrangler that scalloped my tires. The dealership said because it was 10 years old they wouldn't fix it!! WTF! A good friend told me about Lucchetti's. I brought it down, they did a full check up, identified the problem and had the Jeep back to me all fixed with 2 new tires at a great price in no time.The Jeep runs gr8 now! Lucchetti's is the best mechanic around. They don't overprice everything like other mechanics do. They explain your recommended repair work so that you understand it and make sure you understand what needs to be done now versus what can wait if money is tight. They will drive you home when you drop off your car and pick you up when it is ready. They are quick with appointments and fast to repair. The staff are phenomenal. Very nice and professional. I took my vehicle there for an inspection sticker! They failed my car and told me to make an appointment because I had an issue with the wheel bearings. I took the car back to the dealership where I bought it. After a thorough inspection, they said there was NOTHING wrong with it! They gave me an inspection sticker! However I had to pay the $35 again! I contacted Lucchettis to get a refund on the first fee and they would not refund my money! I'm so glad I didn't bring my car back to Lucchetti"s for a fabricated repair just to pass me! They are dishonest and have lost my business! read more

Great service. Professional, courteous staff. My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that someone on the staff created an issue about my green license plate, and refused to issue an inspection sticker, based on a very subjective set of his criteria . The plate met inspection guidelines last year, the year before,etc. I went to another inspection station, and the sticker was issued without any questions. A whole lot of time and energy wasted. Third trip was my last...... my most recent trip I sent my 2007 honda pilot there for an oil change and a sticker,62,343 miles very good shape. When i called the day before they said they would try to squeeze me in, i said just and oil change and a sticker. They said they would see what they could do. They called me a 8:15 a.m. to tell me the truck will not pass because the emergency brake will not hold the truck from moving. It was interesting that a car they couldn't find time for was in the shop at 8 a.m. They needed to adjust the emergency brake, 1 HR.......then they say wile we have the brakes apart to adjust them we should replace the pads cause their 50% worn and we have to remove them anyway to adjust the emergency brake. they always seam find $200 to $300 dollars worth of work that needs to be done before they will put a sticker on it. Last vehicle i had them put a rejection sticker on it, i pealed the sticker off, and drove it the the shell station and it passed. They suck, They force work on you. You can tell the service writers are paid on how much work they book, very pushy read more

I usually buy tires on the internet and have them shipped to a local mechanic who installs them for me. The tires for my Toyota Venza are an odd size and the prices online for good quality were not great so I decided to bite the bullet and go to a real tire shop. First I got an online quote and was pleasantly surprised. When I walked in to make a same day appointment, Chris let me know that the tires were very high quality. I kindly asked if he could suggest something a little less quality but still sufficient and he found another tire that he felt comfy offering me. That saved me almost $100. The service was fast and the waiting area was pleasant. When the tech came out to "Speak with me." it was only to inform me that my sticker was 3 months expired and that they could inspect it for me while I was here. So much for the "Upsell" I was expecting ;) When I go into a place like this and I feel I am treated exactly the same way they would treat my husband, it makes me feel really good. I will not be buying my tires online anymore. Lucchetti's is all I need. Can't wait to get my oil and filter change there! read more

This shop is amazing! The staff is extremely professional and the shop is so clean and organized. I brought my car there after getting a absolutely ridiculous quote from a dealership to fix my brakes. The staff here took my car on multiple test drives just to make sure they could isolate the correct problem. After everything was said and done I paid a third of what I would have paid at the dealership and couldn't be happier. read more

Crooks! Was a on and off customer for 2 years, seems like every time you go in there they turn you upside down and shake every last penny out of you. I brought my daughter's car in for an oil change and they told me she needed brakes, they said she needed all 4 calipers, pads and rotors after only 80k miles. I gave them the okay and spent over $900! 2 month later I brought my wife's car in for an oil change, the same guy came out with the exact same story, all the brakes and calipers plus the brake hoses this time......$1200, I said no thanks! I then brought the car to the dealer because I wanted a second opinion. The dealer resurfaced my front rotors and replaced my pads.....$249. He even brought me in the shop and showed me everything, I saved $950 at the dealer!!!!!!! I find this place incredibly DISHONEST, after asking around I'm finding a lot of similar stories.
