    Breakfast burrito
    Edmond A.

Not the greatest quality and service is way too slow. Lunch time and it wasn't busy, took 35-40 minutes for breakfast burrito. I have been here twice and the same problem both times. Probably go somewhere else until they get more staff and better quality.

After visiting my dentist I found myself feeling very hungry. Directly across the street from my dentist's office is Cali-mex cuisine. I took a moment to browse their fairly extensive menu and selected the crab/shrimp empanadas. There was no mention of cheese but these deep fried treats were full of it!! The empanadas were delicious! Hot with a crispy and flaky crust. I ordered two empanadas which were very filling. The chips and sals and Pico were refreshing. The staff were pleasant and focused on customer service. Somehow the knew it was my 1st time here!! The vibe here is clean and collegiate. Thanks tables are topped with stainless steel and built to last. I'll be back here for sure!!

This place is new and family owned. We had fish and shimp tacos and they were the best. Well seasoned and very tasty. The carne asada and shrimp were the best. Perfectly cooked. The beans are also great. Had the crab empinadas and they are just amazing. Some of the best food in the area. A must try.

They don't take reservations! The inside is decorated so fun! Lots of cool Mexican art as well as fresco paintings. It was packed at 5:30! Not a spot at the bar. It's small cozy and quaint while also being fun and festive. We got the table side guac, which was great, as well as two molcajetes for the table. They were the best I've ever had! We got some margaritas, both blended and regular. They had a good skinny marg. The beans and rice are FANTASTIC! (I always rate a Mexican place by their beans. If those are good, you know the rest will be good.) We had a really great time. The servers were extremely efficient. They move quickly. The place stays poppin' the whole night.

Came in last night to celebrate a friend's birthday (they have happy hour all day Mon-Wed) and was pleasantly surprised. My friends started off ordering the HH guava margaritas, which they enjoyed. I ordered the coconut margarita (not on HH) a must !!!! Not overwhelmingly sweet and tasty! We ordered and rated the following dishes: Guacamole: 9/10 HH tinga Nachos: 7.5/10 (flavor was there but most chips were burnt) HH Taquitos papas: 9/10 great flavor and sauce HH steak tacos: 7.5/10 the corn and portion of meat to the taco was very good. The steak a little well done for my liking. Enchiladas verde: 9/10 great portion honestly enough for two to share. Rice and beans were okay. Beans a bit salty and rice was a bit bland. Would definitely come back for the apps and drinks! They also have brunch which looks like fun.

When we got there, there was a DJ playing 80s/90s throwbacks. It was good music and vibes, but it was quite loud, we could barely hear ourselves speak. Luckily he wasn't there too long, as brunch-time was over. We ordered Mango margaritas, chips & salsa, birria tacos, tinga taquitos, elote, and chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Every single thing was delicious. I was highly impressed. This place will definitely be in the rotation. If I didn't live so far away, I would go for happy hour.

One meal can easily be split between multiple people. My favorites are the green enchiladas and the spicy chipotle burrito, and the rice and beans are just as flavorful and delicious as the main entrees. Upon being seated, you are served a spicy and cheesy bean dip with fresh chips, and there is a salsa bar inside where you can fill up on your choice of salsas. I sat in the outside patio area in my most recent visit, and while the quality of the food didn't change, the service was not the greatest; my table and a couple of other tables had a difficult time flagging anyone down for refills, to go containers, or the bill. There's also a pretty big price difference between paying with card and paying with cash; multiple menu items were at least 3-4 dollars more if you plan to pay with card. Still, the food is good and if you're craving some hearty and comforting Mexican food, S&B is a good option.

The service staff had everything dialed in, working methodically and quickly, making drinks, taking & delivering food orders, and also managing to chat with people as they went, keeping everything friendly and personal. It takes experience and skill to work such an event without using the crowds and chaos as an excuse to offer less, and this staff really rose to the occasion. Special kudos as well to the team working the kitchen, because food came out fast and properly made. Again, so many places would have been content to serve thrown-together plates, but everything I saw was as nicely presented as if it was a calm day with a half-full house. An order of Steak Nachos was quite generously portioned, with house-made chips, creamy queso with a good kick of spice, fresh beans and jalapeño, sour cream and melted cheddar. But the real star of the dish was the steak itself -- good quality beef, well-seasoned and carefully cooked to retain juiciness and tenderness. So often the meat on nachos will be rubbery and disappointing, but at Fuego it's really top tier steak, and there's really only one proper reaction: Yes, Chef! A lot of customers were drinking beer and shots to fit the mood of the match, but mixed drinks from the cocktail menu were also showing up festive and well-balanced. The Paloma looked especially nice: tall and cool, colorful and topped with fresh fruit. A most enjoyable, refreshing sip. With well over a dozen TV's lining the walls, great food & drinks, and a staff this friendly, Fuego really deserves its own trophy for being the little, neighborhood sports bar that comes out on top.
