Back in March for my Bday I wanted to do my nail and ask for a pretty standard simplish design , the pregnant woman who did my nail said she could do it. I was left with thick nails , that were misshapen, and crooked thick design not at all the kind of work I was used to. I spoke up but the owner lowkey made me feel like it was my fault for not saying the obvious, she did fix it after seeing me so upset for the first time. So , I gave this place a second chance... On to today where I am on a flight to Singapore and going to have to figure out possible urgent care or nail salon cost to avoid possible infection. The women who did my nails (braces , short and Hispanic with darker features) , left a hangnail on my toes and cut me on several finger nails! I also noticed them snickering and being unprofessional around customers, along with nasty attitudes. Listen we all have bad days , but if you hate your jobs don't make paying customers suffer. While this is only nails to some it can lead to serious infections as I also doubt they ever cleaning anything properly to. So fair warning to anyone . I can no longer support a business like that. I needed a relaxing pedicure and decided to finally stop in for a basic pedicure (no gel). I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon as a walk-in. It was busy however, they graciously took me immediately. I was advised to pick my color first. They have an entire wall for nail polish and the polishes are organizd by brand. I love that! It made it so easy to find what I was looking for and even be enticed by others. I walked over to the pedicure chair and waited for my tech. Within a few minutes she came over and greeted me and began the service. Prior to her coming over, she had been working by the sink cleaning implements, placing them into a bag, and then into a sterilizing machine. That is not an appropriate way to sanitize or sterilize equipment. They should be using hospital-grade disinfectants or an autoclave machine. But back to my pedicure. She began with the usual process of cutting down my nails and filing. They use disposable nail files and buffers, which I appreciate. At one point, she used a nipper to clean up my cuticles and surrounding area but she used an odd technique of clipping the corners of the big toe. I think that was her way of probably addressing some of the debris or tissue in the corner. As we went further into the pedicure, I noticed alot of poor technique which looked like plain laziness. For example, she buffed my nails with a quick swipe of each nail. It was almost like brushing dust off your hand with one swipe. You could clearly see that only a section of each nail had been buffed. But wait, the foot scrub was just as quick. She applied the scrub, rubbed twice and rinsed it off. Finally, she ended the service with a timed massage. It lacked proper technique and felt more like a foot rub. I cant help but think they give such a sub-par service only because it was basic. Had it been a spa pedicure, which costs more, I think they put a little more effort. If not, I would've been pissed if I paid for that. Once completed, I was led to the dryers where I sat for a few minutes. When I was ready to leave, my nail tech came over to collect payment. They accept cash, card, and applepay. My pedicure cost $36 which was similar to what I usually pay elsewhere. In regards to the facility, the decor was modern and spacious. All of the equipment appeared clean and up-to date. Overall, the outcome of my pedicure was good and it lasted a significant amount of time, but the overall service was rushed, in my opinion. I would not return unless it was the only option around.

They're obviously trying to push people to getting the SNS powder nails which I used to love but stopped getting. I made a few appointments for UV gel manicures and didn't have any complaints for my first visit. The second, however, my nails began chilling within two days which is ridiculous. I was unable to get them fixed which ended up with much of the gel coming off and taking some of my nail layers with it. I returned on Wednesday (3/22) and asked for them to remove the gel and I decided to get a regular manicure to give my nails a break. The first red flag (aside from their UV gel chipping a day after getting it applied...) was that the tech didn't soak off my UV gel. All the other items I've gone to get a soak off and redo my gel manicure, they first filled a bit of the gel off to make it easier to soak off, put acetone-soaked cotton on each of my nails and cover them with foil, and then after some time, they'll remove the rest. This time, the tech legit, tried to file of all of the gel with the electric file. She went over my own nail multiple times and I had to tell her to be careful not to file my nail. The cotton and acetone was left on my nails for literal minutes. Not at all long enough to soak off properly. She put on the nail polish and you could tell that my nail surface was uneven (still is). I just took off the polish today (3/25) to redo it because it looked so shoddy and you can clearly see that there is still base coat gel left on my nails. My actual nail layers were filed unevenly and my cuticles look shite. Hopefully I can look back at this review to remember that some businesses are just not worth a second chance. Never again.
