Bags, shoes, more shoes, and tempting jewels are tucked into corners, waiting to help you complete the perfect look. Eveningwear on one side, casual/business on the other. Heaven! The pieces in this store definitely effect a more elegant/stylish/sophisticated vibe than a trendy one. You know, cutting-edge in a good way, in a way that means you might even get a few seasons out of your purchase. Prices seemed to range from $40ish to $200 on most of the casual-ish things, but I didn't venture into the fancier stuff for fear that I'd soon find myself in the dressing room. Hemline also stocks the things that you need to make your clothes behave, like fashion tape and...well, ladies, you know. I almost had to stock up! I will definitely be back here once my budget caves in to my heart's longings.

The store feels much more open and spacious, which makes shopping a lot more enjoyable. Unlike the old location, it doesn't feel cramped, and the clothing is spread out nicely throughout the store. Brandy always has some of the cutest styles, and l've found the quality to be consistently good for the price. There's always something new that catches my eye, whether it's basics, loungewear, or seasonal pieces. Overall, the new location is a huge upgrade and makes browsing much more comfortable. One question I do have is, does anyone know if they still give out the free stickers? That was always one of my favorite little extras when visiting!

They have everything that you would want, except good places to park, with very highly priced metered parking that no shopping center should allow, all around the store and the Rice Village Mall. It's so elitist, because only people with money to burn would use the parking at those rates... and I think that's the point. The only other downside is that I once got stabbed here by a very sharp and very strange drawer that was sticking out and full of sexy underwear. It was like a dominatrix thing but I was the only real human actively involved and where's the fun in that. I actually bled in their store. Not fun. That wasn't appreciated. But generally speaking I like it and I will probably come back here in future at some point. In fact, we'll probably be back regularly. It's the closest one to our house and we love it because it's in a little neighbourhood. It's one of Barbie's favourite stores and she stops here every chance she gets. She's kind of obsessed and I can totally understand because I'm kind of obsessed with the way she looks when she wears this stuff. So all in all it is a pretty sweet and cute Pink location. It's kind of tight and stuffy in here, cosy, you might say. The employees are not bad. Prices are extortionately high, so come in the sales if you can. A bit more manageable then. Just a bit. I've spent a little too much money here over the last few years but I've never worn anything that I bought here. Or at least if I have, don't tell the girl that they belong to. When I arrived, I was grateful to see reserved parking spaces right in front. I was not eager to tackle Rice Village parking, so this convenience was a benefit for me. Upon walking in, I asked where I could find some potentially matching fabric and the salesgirl was so helpful! She pointed me in the right direction. Since I was looking for white fabric, she recommended I take the fabric outside in the sun to make sure it matches (can't trust white with the florescent lights!). That greatly helped, as the first fabric I thought would work ended up not matching at all once I took it in the sun. After a few tries, I found a fabric that was perfect! If in need of fabric, I definitely recommend coming to Universal Fabric Center. Lots of options to choose from and great service!
