    Biryani Chicken
    Spencer B.

Stopped into this place today after my son recommended it to me. It's not far from the house and we have limited Indian food in the vicinity. My son had warned me that it was just a food truck in a parking lot but they good food. My son was right...I tried the Biryani Chicken and asked for it to be medium spicy. The gentleman taking the order was very nice and cordial and said it would take a couple minutes to cook it up. I probably waited 5-7 minutes and got my order. It was fantastic. There was plenty of meat mixed with the rice and the flavor was superb. My only regret was asking for medium spicy...it was very hot and I like spicy so next time will probably ask for mild. They have a decent menu for a food truck and will definitely be heading back to try other options.

Tikka masala hits the spot, very accurate in flavor, not too spicy just enough!

I'm not really a reviewer, but this is the best Indian food I've ever had. Butter paneer, butter chicken, and naan were amazing.

The curry chicken, rivaled the other dishes. All unique with the most aromatic flavors pulling together. Speaking of aromatic the Chicken biryani rice is the perfect compliment. Chili chicken, my absolute favorite was tasty and the "fish" sticks are a must try. I often think about a friend from years gone by who 1st introduced me to Indian food when I was a mere 19 yrs old. I loved it then as much as I love it now and He would absolutely love it. The people are always soooo nice and the service is first class.

I ordered a house salad and an additional appetizer with a cottage cheese based dessert. I assumed this would be a quick order as I needed to my next work assignment. 5 minutes till 6 pm I advised my client that I was grabbing food and would be a little late. 42 minutes later after sharing my concern my food appeared. Right before then she came to process my payment after so said I would just pay for my beverage as I no longer wanted the food. I also had to tell her they let me sit over 30 minutes without even checking to see if I needed water when the pitcher was walked around the room. The customer service team member initially advised there was no manager available. When I got ready to leave she sent a friend that looked like she was just clocking in. She also confirmed she was not the manager when I asked directly.

The food itself was just OK. I wanted a little bit more from the biryani, and the rice was a little bit mushy. On the upside, the chicken was seasoned very nicely and cooked very nicely. The space is very large and welcoming. It is a lot of food, we got one biryani for two people and still have left over for another meal. Medium spice is relatively good/accurate.

Not to mention it is operated by the most wonderful Indian family. Tonight we feasted on Butter Chicken (spicy), Vegetable Biryani (med spicy), and Chicken Palak (medium spicy). The Butter Chicken is chicken cooked in a clay oven and cooked in butter, Indian yogurt, spices, and tomato sauce. Great over basmati or jasmine rice. I ate mine with the Vegetable Biryani. I typically eat chicken or goat biryani but am so glad I went this route. Huge flavor profile with the veggies. My wife's favorite is always Chicken Palak or Saag Paneer. Basically a creamed spinach with chicken or cheese. But that's a wholly inadequate description of a beautiful dish. Vegetable Biryani is Basmati rice cooked with vegetables and spices. These are typically good dishes to try if you're not used to Indian cuisine. We step up our spices a bit. This seems like an expensive meal until you realize we make at least two more meals out of this deliciousness!! We ended our meal with Gulab Jamun (2 pcs) and Kheer. Gulab Jamun is roughly akin to a donut hole sprinkled with a coarse sugar and topped with a simple syrup. Kheer is cooked rice in milk with sugar. Again, another wholly inadequate description. Folks. You are not doing yourself right if you don't give this beautiful, well kept restaurant a chance. It's only one building north of IH20.

Stopped here on a whim looking for a place to eat and trying to avoid fast food. As others have noted, it's a big open space. Decor was very minimal and it seemed like some parts were in the middle of some amount of renovation. Bathrooms could've used a little help but nothing crazy. We had chicken dum biryani, paneer masala, garlic naan and a mango lassi. Prices are a little high but not crazy for 2025. Portions were very large, in particular the biryani which was exceedingly generous. The paneer and naan were above average, the lassi was phenomenal, and the biryani was good but less exceptional. The food came in takeout containers which might be a turn off but it was fine since we had to take half of it home anyway. Service was a little slow but it was an off hour when we were there. Overall the food was very good and worth a stop if you're driving by. Tons of veg options as well. The atmosphere and service are very basic but it didn't bother me. I'm glad we stopped and supported something local and interesting.

The portions are big which is good to save for later considering how filling it is. Cons- It's definitely on the more pricey side and I would go here more often if it was cheaper. The naan is soo expensive. They charge almost $5 for one single piece of garlic naan. My friend goes in to order, I stay in the car so he says the service isn't that great. He told me that the front desk person was on the phone on his airpods while taking the order and he barely talks, just nodding his head. The place is a bit dirty like the floors not being clean. So overall, if you are coming here for the food, I rate it high. If you are coming here for the experience, I rate it low.

Burgers & Curries is hands down one of our favorite Indian restaurants--easily top three for us…read more It also happens to be the closest Indian spot to us, but convenience aside, we genuinely love it. The restaurant is locally owned and run by the sweetest family, and you can really feel that care in both the service and the food. The space is small, clean, and welcoming, located right off 114 near the IHOP/Wingstop area. Despite the ongoing construction on 114 (which has been a mess), they've stayed incredibly consistent. The food is always good--like, reliably good--and I honestly have zero complaints. I always order the paneer tikka masala, and it is so, so good every single time. My husband and my boys are obsessed with the chicken biryani and swear it hits every time they order it. If you're looking for a great, family-run Indian restaurant with consistently amazing food, this is absolutely one you should try--and keep coming back to.
