I came here with a friend and loved the interior of Palate Garden. The soft/dim lighting, tables, flowers and the friendly staff made the atmosphere warm and inviting. I appreciated the recommendations and adjusted spice levels on the menu. I went with the chicken tikka masala (medium level) that came with complimentary basmati rice and had butter naan. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and flavorful and paired well either the warm buttery naan. The spice level wasn't as hot as I thought, so I'll get hot level next time. The prices are comparable with local Indian restaurants. Since Palate is located in a shopping center, parking can be limited, however there are plenty of places to park. We enjoyed our food and time here and look forward to returning. read more

We started with the vegetable pakoras and pork sekuwa. The pakoras were crunchy and tasty, and the pork sekuwa had good seasoning, though some pieces of the pork were a bit hard to chew. For our entrees, we ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, along with cheese naan and garlic naan. Both chicken dishes were very flavorful, though they tasted quite similar to each other. The naans were fresh and enjoyable. The serving sizes were generous, and we were able to take some food home. The place is cute: small to medium sized restaurants. The food was amazingly , flavorful and filling. As with most Indian places you pay for that flavor. Overall I'd would have gave 4-5 stars. Everything was going great but as we were finishing eating our waitress just disappeared . We probably sat there 25 min . I tried to flag our waitress 2-3x but it was like she purposely avoiding eye contact , and flat ignored my hand raise. We finally got another waitress to bring our ticket. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon--our second time visiting. The interior is beautifully decorated, like stepping into a charming garden. Service was on the slower side, just like our first visit, and it took a while for the food to arrive. But once it did, everything was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Love this place. My type of food. Huge variety. Very courteous servers. Very knowledgeable. Went on a Friday night and wasn't to busy. They have a bar, pool table. They have a lot of screens and one larger screen. They have four spice levels on their food. I got the hot and it was somewhat spicy by I should have gotten the hottest spice level. The lowest spice level is actually almost no spice. We got the butter chicken which has a sweet taste. We also got the channa masala. We also got the mango drink which was really good. The dumpling appetizer was good and it came with a really nice flavor dipping sauce. Most dishes come with rice. read more

I eat a lot of Indian food. My coworker and I have hit every Indian restaurant within a 20 mile radius of work. That being said, after finding this place we will never go anywhere else again. The food is that amazing. They are so above par of anyplace else that it's astounding. I can't even begin to tell you how good the food is here. The chicken is so tender and juicy it's like a 5 star chef is hidden back in the kitchen. The spices are on point and so well done. I hope everyone has a chance to give this place a try. It's worth the drive and worth the wait on the food. I work kinda far from home but I will be bringing my family here so they can experience how wonderful Indian food can be. Finally! A place close to home I can get my curry fix We got the Avocado & Chickpea Salad and Pork Chilie for appetizers. The portions was just right. I prefer my spice level medium and my husband likes it mild. We asked the server if there was a way to give me the medium on the side since my husband and I are sharing the meals. Totally accommodating for us. For the main course my husband got the Sekuwa *Pork so delicious I recommend a side of rice for this dish. My fan favorite was the Chicken Tikka/Butter Masla get a side of the garlic Naan or add rice for this dish recommend spice medium. We came here when it wasn't too busy and ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. To say the least, we were quite confused about the flavor aspect. It did taste good but I think they mistake the sugar for salt - it was overly too sweet compared to other Indian restaurants we have tried the same dishes from. Maybe it could have been a Nepali fusion or twist to it? Not sure, but definitely not the same taste. However, The naan was thin and tasted great. My oldest son and I arrived last night to place a to go order after reading the reviews of Palate online. Our main objective was to acquire great authentic cultural food for our wives back at an Airbnb. There were two ladies that went above and beyond to help us walk through the menu to get the right spice levels and food preferences for us. And wow, Palate Garden did not disappoint. The Butternut chicken, Goat Karmos (soooo delicious), coconut shrimp curry (favorites of the wives), crispy shrimp, cauliflower side dish (superb), chicken dumplings (really tasty), and garlic naan were all winners!!! We went here for lunch on a Thursday. The food was incredible! I got butter chicken, and my husband got paneer tadka. We also ordered garlic naan and cheese naan. The naan had the perfect chewy texture, and our food was so rich and flavorful. When I finished eating, I instantly wanted to go back for more! I left off 1 star, giving a 4 star rating, because we did have to wait a while for our food to arrive at our table, despite being one of the only tables seated in the restaurant. I'll assume that this was because the food is made fresh to order and the cooks were taking their time, which is fine. We just had our little one with us, so time was of the essence, and we felt the wait more acutely than we would have otherwise. The atmosphere and interior were nice and spacious, with lots of window light, and (fake) flowers and leaves decorating the walls and ceiling. Just tried this place with my husband for the first time since they've opened. Really pleased with the food, service and atmosphere! We happened to get a late dinner there on a Saturday night and it was the perfect place for a relaxed date night. Super clean, beautifully decorated and the music was great too. Food was delicious. Wonderful! I'm very happy to finally have a place around the area that's not fast food, bar food or fried. Everything me and the wife tried was amazing. It was the first time I've had goat and trust me when I say it takes just like beef, zero difference in taste and similar texture as a roast.
