To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect walking in here. We were on a road trip and stopped in this random town for food. Indian sounded good. We were the only ones in there the entire time, and the guy serving us was very attentive. I had to get some chicken tikka masala, which was really good! This couple is an honest hardworking couple. If you haven't eaten Indian cuisine come and try the Chicken Biriyani and the Tandoori Chicken. My wife's favorite is the Chicken Saag. The gps location did not lead me to the correct one, but it's right across the QT gas station right near a rundown motel. Worth trying. I got the saag paneer and tikka masala with a side of rice and garlic naan. All very good! It stayed very warm in the packaging and they packed it tight. First off, the food was excellent. Also, the place smelled great. I got hungrier the minute I walked in the door. It took a few minutes for them to get us seated, but it turns out they were short staffed that afternoon, so no worries. Anyway, we ordered tandoori chicken, Mailai kofta, and kadai paneer. Came with garlic naan and rice. The kofta and paneer were on the recommendation of the waiter, as we'd never tried them, and they were both really good. The kofta is a sauce with cheese dumplings and you dip your naan into the sauce. The paneer is the Indian version of fried cheese. It reminded me of fried tofu in spicy sauce. And if you like barbecued chicken, you will love tandoori chicken. My only complaint was that the doorway going back into the prep area had no door. I could see a ginormous rice cooker and a microwave sitting on a stainless steel table from where I was sitting. This was the reason for 4 stars. But the food was better than any Indian food I've had in Fort Worth. You'd have to drive to at least Grand Prairie to find Indian food as good. We will be back. read more

I ordered butter naan and chicken tikka masala (spicy). I like my butter naan and my chicken tikka masala was spicy. It was not the best I had but it was good. My roommate ordered garlic bullet naan and Punjabi style goat curry. Now we don't want to offend anyone but my roommate described his goat curry as goat lasagna and garlic bullet naan as garlic bread. He described the food as Indian/Italian food. Very flavorful and the most tender chicken I've had. My boyfriend has also tried the chicken vindaloo and very much enjoyed it! Our waiter is always attentive and nice! Horrid- Ordered food 45 minutes prior with a promise it was going to be ready in 25 minutes. Showed up twenty minutes after the food was supposed to be ready. Drive up to see who I assume is the cook sitting on a bench casually smoking a cigarette. When he sees we're there for the restaurant, he scampers off somewhere (the kitchen most likely). I walk into the restaurant and am met with a disorderly dining area with unbussed tables that appear to have been sitting there since lunch (it was six pm when I arrived). I bypass the dirty restaurant and ask the person in charge (I use this term loosely) where my food is as I'm arriving twenty minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready. At first he doesn't know what I'm talking about and then he says, "oh five minutes." It's clear the guy smoking out front hadn't even STARTED cooking our food yet. I'm sorry, no way in hell are you making my entire meal in "five minutes." This guy has the audacity to continue to bullshit me that the food will be ready in five minutes. First impression: Arrived at 11:30. a bit wary as it's located in the parking lot behind a very seedy looking motel at which we saw what looked to be a ...ahem, "transaction". I didn't mind so much the building was a dingy dive bc there are some great restaurants in a dive and were still willing to give it a chance. Walked in, and saw only 1 customer eating. Waited at the front, no one greeted us, no waiters, no staff, no cashier, no busser, saw 1 person walk by the window of the kitchen door but still no one ever came out. There wasn't even a bell to ring that we needed service. A Saturday lunch hour of all days they should be on top of their game. It's the weekend for goodness sake. I believe in supporting small businesses so I really wanted to give them a chance but it was a ghost town. Very disappointing. Wish them luck but they need at least someone at the front to attend to customers. If I went there again, I'd get medium instead of mild spice, because my lentil curry was kind of bland. Don't be afraid of the run down motel nextdoor. Or the green and white color scheme. This is hands down the best reatraunt in Weatherford! A hidden gem in a rough of hamburger joints and bad BBQ places. Got the chicken Biryani and the goat curry and both are well balanced and delicious neither too spicy nor too fragrant.
