This place was really cool I happened to be in the area and just popped in. They seem to specialise in sportswear vintage and sneakers so if that's your jam this is the place for you. They had a ton of sports and music related vintage t's ranging from affordable to not so much (for me anyway!) You also could score a some outdoor gear on the cheap, they had some North Face on the racks. I ended up finding a reasonably priced Star Wars shirt as a gift and was happy with that find! THIS IS EASILY THE WORST RESELL / VINTAGE STORE IN WA STATE. Their first strike was when they tried to offer me $20 flat for my 90s Diddy x B.I.G. rap tee that goes for well over $200... The second strike was when they "accidentally" forgot to give me back a Sonics hat that I brought in to potentially sell. The last strike was when they called me a bitch on IG because I didn't want to pay for shipping to get my stolen hat back..... I highly recommend this shop, when I walked in I was welcomed was shown top tier hospitality. They have a wide variety of shoes and clothes to choose from and it was tough for me to leave with only one pair of shoes. Lucky Dog is a fixture in the Seattle streetwear community. There are not any stores of its kind that specialize in buying and selling hype and vintage gear in Seattle like Lucky Dog. I have been coming here for years, and its always hard to go in without finding a dope piece for a steal. More importantly for me it has become a great place to liquidate pieces that have come out of my rotation. Their offers are fair, especially considering the net I usually get on pieces when I sell on Grailed after fees tax and shipping. Great value, great service, great hospitality (the owner often offers free softdrinks and stickers with a purchase) and just a great presence in the community. Both locations have great, knowledgeable staff. Sean at the Greenwood Ave store has helped me both times when selling my clothes and given me great service and fair offers. Walked in to pick something up I had purchase from Instagram my trip could have been a quick 3-4 minutes, but the staff chose to go outside and film for around 10mins but I patiently waited I understand they have a job to do. So when they were finally done I had to go engage the conversation myself to the guy up front playing billiards on his iPhone. Over all cool shop with decent prices on vintage Tees. The customer service could use work though. Not saying kiss a**, but a simple "Hey Welcome in" would have made the whole experience way less awkward. read more

Wish there was a way to give zero stars. I was reselling a pair of shoes online and arranged a meetup to sell them. The person robbed me at gunpoint and took the shoe box, leaving behind the lid to the box. He took the shoes to lucky dog and I saw them on their story, same size, scuff in the same place. I came into the store with clear proof that the shoes were mine and the missing box lid. The dude working there wouldn't give them back to me unless I paid him back what he gave the guy for the shoes. I'm sure other stuff here is stolen as well. Updating from my last visit. We found my son a really rare, super cool, Patrick Ewing Sonics Jersey for $15! What? Remember that? Patrick Ewing, the amazing center! He played with the Sonics for like one season! My son wears that thing and he gets lots of high fives from his teachers and true Seattle sports fans all the time wherever we go. Can't just get that kind of love by getting a new jersey (of which he has many). Super sweet find! My only suggestion is they consider stocking more kids sports gear. This is a really cool store to find vintage or designer clothes for reasonable prices. They also have a seattle sports section which I bought two sonics shirts from. They were quite a bit worn out, which I didn't really realize until after I bought them, but it's not a big deal to me. Only thing I wish they had was a fitting room, but other than that it's great. I'm a fan but I'll have to come in a little less often. I have been able to find 2-3 things that would work for me, I usually pick thing I can wear to work. Their focus is on other, more sporty attire. In fact, I brought in a Tommy Bahama shirt and a Quicksilver shirt and was told they were looking for other brands. I was visiting from out of town with my son and his friend and we had an amazing visit at the Lucky Dog. The kids are both 13 and were treated with the same respect that any adult would expect when walking into a sneaker boutique. The minute we stepped in, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and patient. I immediately sat down, knowing the boys would be there for a while, and was immediately offered a coffee by one of the staff members. He made me the BEST MOCHA I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE - no joke. He missed his calling -- he is an expert barista -- it was perfect, complete with the swirly little foam leaf on top. Not bitter and not too sweet. I was in heaven. I would come back to visit just for the perfect shot of espresso. As for the stock, the pricing is extremely reasonable for what they carry. Whenever we travel, I take my son to every hype beast-centric store -- in the past year we've been to boutiques in Las Vegas, Phoenix and New York. When I compare the pricing with the other stores in these cities (including the few other shops we visited in Seattle like Bait and Recess), Lucky Dog was by far the most reasonable. This shop may not be as large as Stadium Goods or Flight Club in NYC, but it makes up with great pricing, varied selection and truly amazing staff. They have everything from Off-White, limited edition Jordans, Yeezys, NMDs, Bape, Palace, Supreme etc., but they also have basics like North Face, Stussy and other mid-line brands. Some stores only carry over-priced consignment goods that you know you can find on Goat for cheaper. Lucky Dog is very competitive in terms of pricing. And yes, you can actually try on the shoes and the staff is happy to check pricing, check in the back for sizes or for stock that has not been put out yet. The boys loved the daily discount idea -- the day we went, it was 15% off if you managed to sink a hoop in the mini basketball net -- my son hit a shot and they posted it on Insta. The boys were talking about the store well after we left -- they said it was worth the drive just for the "experience". While we didn't drop a lot of cash that day (sometimes we end up spending over $1000 at a time), the guys were still so nice. We will certainly come back every time we visit Seattle. Normally I don't bother to leave reviews, but the staff, the store and my mocha were so amazing, I thought they deserved some well-earned recognition. (PLEASE START SELLING ESPRESSO DRINKS ON THE REGULAR -- you've got Starbucks beat by miles!). read more
