The pastries are buttery, flaky, and somehow manage to ruin every grocery store croissant for the rest of your life. The coffee is excellent, the staff is consistently friendly, and it's one of those places where it's impossible to leave with only the one thing you came in for. The neighborhood feels safe, parking is plentiful, and the only real hazard is convincing yourself you deserve "just one more pastry." Five stars. My spin instructor may disagree. I find it fantastic that they're POC and woman-owned, but they have absolutely no accommodations for the largest minority in the world. I emailed them directly, asking them if there are any accommodations for us; as disabled people can't wait in lines for various reasons. I've never had a business tell me "no", but this establishment's response was very close to it: "we're doing what works best for us right now" is what the email said. Not, "Oh yes, how can we help you?" I attempted to wait in the line and even got the donuts, but the cost was having a mental breakdown when I got to my car. I should not have to put myself through physical and mental torture because a business refuses to accommodate my disability, yet alone acknowledge they have a problem. They even recommended that an ABLE-BODIED person get the donuts for me. This is considered ableist, whether they realize it or not, and it felt like a direct slap in the face. This is telling me that they don't care about accommodating disabled people, and that tells me all I need to know about an establishment. This was three years ago. They still haven't changed.
