On the bright side the chicken teriyaki was actually pretty good. But they made my entree so spicy I couldn't even eat it really, this after me asking for it to be mild due to a medical condition. Also, it seems like a whole new staff in there, so not sure if there has been another change of owners since we last went. Either way, this place is now on my "do not go" list. Seems like it's more a place for bar flies to hang out than a restaurant now. Which is fine for some, but not a place I want to spend my money at. Kind of sad really, cause it used to be good. As another reviewer pointed out, if the place is that much of a mess, makes you wonder what is going on in the kitchen.

I was in Salem running errands with my father and we decided to try Lucky Dragon for lunch. Both of us are big fans of Chinese takeout food. We decided to order food and eat our meal their rather than taking it to go. The place is pretty clean in comparison to other Chinese takeout restaurants. The women at the counter was very friendly and the prices of the food was good. Around $37 for all the food we got. We ordered beef with broccoli, beef on a stick, chicken wings, spare ribs, lo mein, and white rice. The food was very hot and everything was flavorful and fresh. My only complaint was the lo mein didn't have much flavor. The chicken wings were cooked very well and the spare ribs were the best I've ever had. I'll definitely keep Lucky Dragon in mind if I'm in the Salem area. read more
