    Espresso martinis (pretty good!)
    Courtney L.

Very disappointed in my experience at Lucky Duck. I came in with high expectations after hearing glowing reviews from friends and family, but it just didn't live up to the hype. We arrived for happy hour at 5pm on a Friday, and it was packed. The bar was extremely loud; so much so that it made it hard to even have a conversation. The whole resturant was loud even when we sat down at our seat! For happy hour, we ordered the chicken fingers, Caesar salad with fries, and the tuna tartare. The standout here was the tartare; it was fresh and flavorful, but the portion was comically small and mostly guacamole. The chicken fingers were pretty standard, nothing special but still enjoyable. The Caesar salad, however, lacked flavor. The fries were a highlight; super crispy and well done. I also really enjoyed the espresso martinis; the drinks overall were solid, and the servers were all lovely. We were seated for dinner just before 6pm and ordered the pepperoni pizza, duck bolognese, and mortadella sliders. The pizza was actually very good; thin, crispy, bar-style, and definitely something I'd order again. The mortadella sliders were also a win. I loved that they were served on focaccia; great flavor and a fun concept. Unfortunately, the duck bolognese was a major letdown. It had almost no flavor and was shockingly overpriced for the quality. Overall, I wouldn't rush back. If I did return, it would likely just be for drinks and the view, not the food.

Went here for a dinner date and was very excited. The atmosphere is incredible and the view is amazing even on a rainy day. The restaurant is very cute as well albeit a little crowded. The service was very friendly and pretty quick. There were out of some of our top options which was a little upsetting but the others items were still good. The drinks were mostly good as well. The sour cream and onion pizza was very unique and would recommend trying it as it is so different. Overall a good time but nothing super crazy.

The ambiance is perfect for drinks with friends or an elevated dinner. We started with the prosciutto chips and the mvp pizza, which were both great and perfect for sharing. My favorite was the Caesar salad with chicken milanese, the chicken was super thin and crispy. The duck bolognese wasn't my favorite, as it lacked some flavor to me. It was a busy Saturday night, so service was a bit slow for our bigger party.

We came for happy hour and got a table outside. Service was great! They have limited vegetarian options. So we got the Caesar and fries and the MVP pie. The fries were okay. The garlic aioli didn't taste like garlic. The Caesar salad was okay. The mvp pie was good. It's a super thin crispy pizza. We got the pink slip for drinks and that was good too. I'd say I'd return just for the drinks and mvp pie and a spot along the river on a nice day.

New addition to Columbus Blvd. Beautiful river views. Very vibrant and bustling on my visit. I recommend checking this place out when you're looking for a nice range of good beers on tap and decent food menu. The pizzas looked good. I just had a Guinness and fries. The Guinness pour was awesome! The staff were very professional and accommodating overall. I can see this place doing very well due to the location and a really nice alternative to some of the other bars/restaurants nearby.

Lucky Duck is a beautifully designed, perfectly located New American bistro that I can already tell will become my local go-to for great vibes, scenic views, and excellent drinks. I stopped by for a quick look during their soft opening, and it only made me more excited for what's to come. It feels like the perfect spot for almost any occasion--from casual meetups with friends to a more intimate first date or date night. The staff was incredibly friendly, happily showing me around and greeting everyone who walked through the door with genuine smiles. It left me confident that the service here will be just as great as the atmosphere.

Fun and lively. The indoor space around the bar was nice on a hot Sunday. The line to get a drink was kind of long, but the drinks were so good. I had a dirty (filthy) gin martini which was soo delicious. The duck vending machine on the way out was also fun and on theme.

The best place ever for a hot girl dinner. Fried, ceaser salad, great drinks, what more could you ask for? Waiting for the days the open up patio seating cuz this is the place of the summer for me. Definitely will be coming back with all of my friends. Great food, great drinks, the vibes in there are so nice. Went a little after opening it was packed but the service was fabulous!

Ive been waiting to try this place and Im glad I finally came! Such an awesome view by the river and the interior is well decorated, plus they have darts! We shared oysters, pizza and wings, raspberry collins mocktails and graham cracker honeycomb ice cream. Everything was done really well and the flavors were there for sure. Service was great and I will definitely be returning for drinks on a warmer night when they have the big doors open.

I had went here on Sunday afternoon for an early lunch and it was SO good! The location is great, the vibe is immaculate, and the staff is super nice! Our bartender was honestly the best! We sat in the high top bar area so all service is through the bar. The bartender made sure we were accommodated for everything we ordered. If they didnt have something we wanted, she went above and beyond to ensure that she made it work for us. The food was super good too. I would definitely recommend their pizzas and the tuna tartar. I cant wait to go back again!!

Walked in and restaurant was reserved all night so had to sit at the bar. Loved our service drinks and the vibes were great! Will absolutely be back with a reservation and can't wait to see what it's like in the summer!

Worth stopping by if you're in the West Village! Food: 4 Drinks: 5 Service: 4 Value: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Food: Surprisingly good. We shared the chicken quesadilla. It was filled to the filled to the brim and delicious. They cooked it perfectly with the edges getting extra crispy like a tortilla chip. I didn't have high expectations for a place thats primarily a bar, but this blew me away all things considered. Drinks: Best taproom in the city. 20+ premium options. They have an awesome selection of beers, including some local options. They have wine and liquor too, but you should focus on the beer. This is the place to go for a good draught. Service: Servers are friendly and down to earth. They're great at suggesting different beers. Value: Not cheap, but not bad. Beers are $8-10 (pretty much market price in the West Village) and food is a decent bargain given how much food you get. Atmosphere: Its a cross between an old school pub and a sports bar. Its dark and 90% male (my wife always comments on how male heavy it is) but I think it has a good vibe. Good beer, good food options, and friendly servers.

The crowd is pretty young, but as a mid-40s, I don't feel out of place. The bartenders are knowledgable and always helpful in making decisions. Why they didn't get 5-stars: This is actually a 4.5-star place and only gets dinged 1/2 star is that is can be hard to get a table or a spot to be. It's a very small venue, so be prepared to stand around a bit. That's it, great beers, good vibes, still a great spot!!!
