Had an early dinner for my daughter's bday. Table for 4 indoors, but totally open to the outside including the Delaware river - beautiful and sunny, but shady out on the patio. Everything was great - Spicy Pepperoni pie as an app - razor thin crust, but totally crispy. Caesar was really crunchy, not too much dressing, and nice light parm curls. Got the wings well done - sort of an Indian spice plus herbs - yummy and cooked perfectly. Had the mortadella sliders - better than I expected with a nicely toasted bun and great flavors. The cutest spot right near Northern Liberties opened up just in time for summer! I had the best lunch here this weekend. overall this restaurant and experience was okay and mediocre at best. since it was summer it also had lots of flies and bugs so beware... don't get seated next to the walls haha.. we got steak frites which was fine, but pricey for $40 when it was nothing special and this was also not a fancy restaurant so not sure why they charged this price. pizza was ~$20 and was p decent but i'll prob only ever come back for pizza, if i do. service was fine. not sure if ill come back but if i do ill give the cocktail a try. fyi there is no free or validated parking so be prepared to pay around $10 for two hours read more

Very disappointed in my experience at Lucky Duck. I came in with high expectations after hearing glowing reviews from friends and family, but it just didn't live up to the hype. We arrived for happy hour at 5pm on a Friday, and it was packed. The bar was extremely loud; so much so that it made it hard to even have a conversation. The whole resturant was loud even when we sat down at our seat! For happy hour, we ordered the chicken fingers, Caesar salad with fries, and the tuna tartare. The standout here was the tartare; it was fresh and flavorful, but the portion was comically small and mostly guacamole. The chicken fingers were pretty standard, nothing special but still enjoyable. The Caesar salad, however, lacked flavor. The fries were a highlight; super crispy and well done. I also really enjoyed the espresso martinis; the drinks overall were solid, and the servers were all lovely. We were seated for dinner just before 6pm and ordered the pepperoni pizza, duck bolognese, and mortadella sliders. The pizza was actually very good; thin, crispy, bar-style, and definitely something I'd order again. The mortadella sliders were also a win. I loved that they were served on focaccia; great flavor and a fun concept. Unfortunately, the duck bolognese was a major letdown. It had almost no flavor and was shockingly overpriced for the quality. Overall, I wouldn't rush back. If I did return, it would likely just be for drinks and the view, not the food. read more

Went here for a dinner date and was very excited. The atmosphere is incredible and the view is amazing even on a rainy day. The restaurant is very cute as well albeit a little crowded. The service was very friendly and pretty quick. There were out of some of our top options which was a little upsetting but the others items were still good. The drinks were mostly good as well. New addition to Columbus Blvd. Beautiful river views. Very vibrant and bustling on my visit. Such a great experience at Lucky Duck, I'm so excited to check it out in the summer with their patio and huge doors that open up onto the Delaware! The space is huge with tons of seating, the place was packed when I went and the tables are a bit close to each other which makes it a little loud, but nothing too crazy. Our server, Iyana, was ON IT. Checking in on drink refills often, without being overbearing. She was so friendly and recommended great dishes. Our drinks we're delish, the espresso martini was AWESOME! The price for drinks is what you expect out of a nicer spot here in the city, about 12-15 bucks a piece. The breakfast pizza was absolutely insane, I've truly never had anything like that. It's covered in sausage, bacon, HASHBROWNS and this delish garlicky sour cream drizzle. I love that the pizzas are cut up into bite size pieces, rather than full slices. Perfect for sharing! The rest of our food was great as well, I'd probably skip the steak frites next time, but everything else was really stand out. read more

Ive been waiting to try this place and Im glad I finally came! Such an awesome view by the river and the interior is well decorated, plus they have darts! We shared oysters, pizza and wings, raspberry collins mocktails and graham cracker honeycomb ice cream. Everything was done really well and the flavors were there for sure. I had went here on Sunday afternoon for an early lunch and it was SO good! The location is great, the vibe is immaculate, and the staff is super nice! Our bartender was honestly the best! We sat in the high top bar area so all service is through the bar. The bartender made sure we were accommodated for everything we ordered. This place is great esp as the weather gets better. Nice spot on the water and the setting is really nice. The service is great and all the servers are fast and attentive. We tried a few things on the menu including their pizza, chicken nuggets, ceasar salad, and their cocktail special. I would say their food is more on the saltier end but if they put less salt i think it would be really good. As a note, no kids after 7pm. read more

Go for the bar pies, Caesar salad, and fries, which are the clear standouts. Skip the mortadella sliders and wings. The wings are average at best, and the sliders feel like a chopped Italian sandwich where no single ingredient really shines. A grilled mortadella slider, in the spirit of Anthony Bourdain, would be the right move here. Otherwise you're just paying for a quarter of an Italian sandwich. Service is still finding its rhythm, which is not unusual for a new restaurant. Plate clearing in particular could be more efficient, as it tends to happen in multiple, somewhat disruptive passes. On a recent visit, the chicken Milanese was served without a proper cutting knife, something that should be set in advance for that dish. The space also runs quite loud. That energy works at the bar, but for table seating, a slightly more controlled volume would improve the overall experience. I do think this place will get better over time. They won't have a choice as this is a destination restaurant for most. read more

Went opening day, felt like they had been open for months. Had zero issue with reservations made online, was seated immediately. Servers were nice and attentive. Food and drinks came out quick. Was incredibly delicious with the tartare as a real standout. The interior was lovely and great energy. We were seated near the large glass doors with a great view of the water and bridge.
