Too good to go: Watermelon coconut slush with sago pearls, regular sugar: This drink was better than the other. It was so refreshing and sweetness was actually around 50-75%. There was a lot of sago, the cup was filled about 30% with sago. Orange lemon black tea with sago? They didn't have a label printed but that's what it tasted like. If you want yummy fruit based drinks, this is the perfect place. We got the Persimmon Lava Milk Tea and Mochi Taro Milk Tea. Persimmon Lava Milk Tea is a good drink choice for persimmon lovers especially in season where the persimmon is sweeter. This drink also has cream cheese sauce and coconut milk which gives it a creamy flavor where the jasmine green tea offers a slight floral taste. Persimmons are perfectly sweet and not too bland. 10/10 Mochi Taro Milk Tea We got the Da Hong Pao Oolong milk tea option which is the perfect nutty and earthy tea with a slight floral flavor. With the added Taro and mochi tho, it can be hard to drink through straw because of the thickness, but overall a filling and yummy drink. 8/10 Friendly staff and the interior is cute with some trinkets on the side of the store and seating. Upon entering, there was no one in line to order and all of the staff left us standing there waiting. We should have took it as a sign to just leave. But instead we saw a screen to place your own order , so we did just that and sat down to wait for our order. An older couple walks in and the staff ( young girl with bleach blond hair w/ dark roots) starts talking / helping them right away in their language . She was talking to them for a while ( probably 7-10 mins passed) . The place was pretty empty and our order was taking longer than anticipated. After the staff is done talking to this older she starts making an order, we think oh great this must be ours since we were next customers waiting, big fat nope !!! After finishing making the order she hands their drink to them! My fiancé walks up to mention we having been waiting for ours a while , The whole time this rude staff was ignoring us and talking to the couple that came in after us our drinks have been sitting on the counter only when we asked us when she handed our drinks to us. Never again with this place. I won't even get into reviewing the drinks we got , not worth it for the bad customer experience. Never in my life have I had this horrible of an experience. Lucky Fruitea is in the Popeye strip mall. Parking was a bit of a challenge but not impossible when I went on a Sunday afternoon. Ordering is done from the kiosk and I got the Mashed Taro Milk Tea with Jasmine Milk, less sugar and my friend ordered the Pistachio Strawberry Milk Tea. I also ordered the Mango Sago Pomelo to go. All 3 drinks were delicious! The drinks were big-each cost $7.50. The mango drink was super bright and refreshing. The taro was a bit heavier, milkier and creamier but yummy just the same-I loved all the different textures and the bobas were soft. When we arrived, all the tables were taken but everyone cleared out by the time our drinks were ready. My friend and I were able to sit for a leisurely "catch up." I will be back! read more

This place is officially my favorite drink shop I. Rosemead! I happened to stop by this place when I visited my mechanic last summer. Since then every time I have to go out there, I stop by. What got me hooked is their peach season. It uses fresh white peach it reminds me of Japan. I sadly realized it is only served around summer time and discontinued around fall. I believe they also serve kyoho grape flavors during summer. My next favorite is their popular mango sago drink. This flavor is cool because they have your snack combo where you can buy fries with that particular drink. I think you can pair it with 4 of their popular drink and mango sago is one of them. I feel like they do their fresh fruits right! Persimmons come during winter. It's super cool they rotate in season but also sad when that time of year is gone. Taro balls are soft with some chew. Blueberry cheesecake biscoff milk 4.5/5 Very blueberry forward with lots of pulp, has less cheesecake taste than I was thinking but it's still good. The biscoff cookies add an interesting texture cuz they're more soft pieces in the drink. We got this less sweet and it's perfect. Driving on Valley is too tempting with all the boba that can be experienced. It's hard to decide who deserves your calories for that day. I visited on a Sunday at opening. I placed an order online (do this to avoid a long wait!) and went during my pickup time. The order still wasn't ready but the crew looked very busy and was hustling to pump out drinks. Parking in the small lot is crazy; try to get street parking on Valley. I was very satisfied with all the drinks I got. The mango pomelo sago hit the spot with the fresh fruitiness of the mango and pomelo. There were a lot of toppings but they were all tasty. I did wish for more liquid. I took the drinks home and realized there is no coconut flavor or coconut bits in my sugarcane drinks. I'm unsure if there is supposed to be coconut bits at all? Sugarcane was refreshing though. We were in the area running an errand and decided to take a quick tea stop. We weren't thrilled with having to place our order on a tablet, rather than with a person, since we had questions and weren't able to get them answered. The beverages, overall, were okay, but we realized after we left that we didn't get what we ordered. One beverage wasn't supposed to have any "toppings" in it, but had something clear and chewy in it (being clear/light white, we didn't see it in the bottom of the cup). The other beverage was supposed to be less sweet and was extremely sweet (maybe not a mistake, but since we couldn't get anyone to help us, we could only guess how to order). However, I cannot say the same about this place. It was lacking the pomelo flavor as they barely put any in the drink. I also found it strange that the drink was lukewarm as it is blended...
