Had to check out this new Goomo Tea location and see how it compares to the one in Walnut. The menu, tea quality, and atmosphere are all very similar at both stores. I like that there is free wifi and sufficient seating, making it a good cafe spot where you can go to do work or relax. There are 2 kiosks inside for self-ordering. The menu has plenty of drink options as well as some fried snack foods. I've had a few of the teas, which were all pretty good. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the egg pudding. I recommend adding boba as a topping. The boba here has a nice and chewy texture. I have yet to try any of the food. A free parking lot is located right outside the shop. It is shared with a few other businesses in the same retail plaza. Although the dedicated lot is small, I have never had any issues finding parking here.

Came here during their soft/grand? opening based on a friend's recommendation as we were looking for a place to have some drinks and chill. They had a really excellent BOGO deal going on at the time! I got their oolong milk tea with boba and it was really good/solid! I think just slightly under places like Chicha Sanchen without the abysmal wait times. We came later in the evening so they were actually sold out of a lot of items, but there was still a decent amount of variety. The store has a very clean yet stylish interior design. It'd be a nice place to chill and hang out with friends. The only complain is parking might be a bit of an issue, but I was able to get some street parking.

A new tea shop that's replacing Bubble Republic and definitely a great addition to the already packed SGV. Interior is very clean and spacious. There's a couple tables and a whole bench for people who are hanging out and/or on their devices. The lighting is great because of the huge windows radiating sunlight from outside, love the vibes overall as it's more like a cafe. They have plenty of deco as well. Staff is quick and friendly. There's two ordering kiosks to speed up the process along with online ordering. My go to drinks here is definitely the white peach, roasted oolong, and the Jasmine Green Milk Tea. All three drinks were very refreshing especially on the warmer day. Their cups are great design as well. Fresh with their big logo on the cups. Perfect for social media posts! Overall, a wonderful addition to SGV, a place that specializes mostly for their fruit teas but their milk teas were just as good as their fruit teas. They have another location in Walnut so I'm glad my wife and I don't have to drive that far if we're ever craving Goomo Tea.

I've been to Goomo in Rowland, and thought it was fairly good - so when I heard that they were opening up a new location in SG, I was a little excited to be able to try their drinks. Came by for their soft opening when they had a promo. It wasn't too packed, but there were some people who took quite forever on the kiosks ordering. Seems like Goomo is known for their large fruit tea bucket as well as their mango pomelo drink. The milk teas don't seem as popular. Tried the milk teas with boba and pudding - unfortunately the boba was all sold out so we were forced to get a replacement item. Milk tea and cheese foam osmanthus oolong were okay. Not amazing, but not bad. Mango pomelo sago was definitely the best drink of the bunch, but a bit more on the watery side as compared to other places. But my orange green tea with aloe vera (unfortunately no more boba) was the worst I've ever had. Tasted like tea water with no flavor. Was really disappointed. Don't think I'd make an effort to come back. There are way more shops in the area. Workers are fairly nice. Interior is cute if you want to sit and chat. There's a parking lot but also street parking.

New tea place with lots of options. Ordered Mango Pomelo and peach milk tea. Drinks are refreshing. Store is clean and bright with tables so you can hang out and so some work or meet up with a friend. Located on Mission and Las Tunas! Excited to come back and try other flavors.

Came here during their soft opening, two days before their grand opening, and now here for their grand opening...is there a difference in taste or quality? No! Drinks have been very consistent and quality is top notch. Mt favorite drink is the Mango Pomelo, Strawberry Tornado, and their Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Those are our Go-To drinks here and my daughter is in love with their chewy and perfectly sweetened boba pearls. Here's to their success in their second location!

My favorite boba shop opened up a new location closer to me! Hurray! They are soft opening this weekend, so they have an abbreviated version of their food menu and what looks like the full version of their drink menu. I usually get their milk teas with boba or egg pudding or grass jelly. Today, I branched out and tried their strawberry green tea with boba and Sun Shine yogurt smoothie with egg pudding. Both drinks were refreshing for today's sunny day. I also got their popcorn chicken, as solid as the Walnut location. Love that they let me bring my reusable tumber and their drink cups so I can cut down on single use plastic. There is a shared parking lot in the back and lots of indoor seating! Plenty of seating to hang out and enjoy your drinks. Can't wait to now have a closer drive for my boba runs!

We came for their soft opening. It's a self service order. There is a good variety of drinks and the self service kiosk is easy to navigate. We tried the passion fruit jasmine green tea and lime jasmine tea. Both are great. The new decor looks very relaxing with a calm vibe. The staff is friendly and nice. Some items are at 15% off. We will come back to try other drinks and snacks.

Been waiting for this place to open near me. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. Vibes are super chill and it did take me a hot minute to get my order but I got their ube and peach slushes to try. The ube slush was super rich, startchy, smooth, thick, creamy, mellow, and perfectly sweet. Pretty sure it was taro and not ube tho. The peach slush had amazingly real fruity, light, peachy flaves and was also perfectly sweet and refreshing. Too bad it's only seasonal but Overall this place is pretty good. Ube slush $7.75 Peach slush $7.75

I tried the Strawberry Tornado (Jumbo size), popcorn chicken, and tempura, and everything was good. The jumbo Strawberry Tornado was a great size for sharing. I also liked that they offer a 110% sugar option. The staff were friendly, and there's a self-order kiosk for added convenience. There's plenty of seating inside, and parking is available in the back lot.

Parking is good. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very beautiful. My favorite is the strawberry tornado! The popcorn chicken is very tender as well but I wish it came with a bit more. The fried tempura is also really good! The green grape tornado was just ok. Overall, this might be my next go to boba spot!

New boba shop in town! I was excited to see this open since it's right down the street. They have lots of fruit teas, yogurt drinks, slushies, milk drinks, and the usual milk teas and regular teas. I got their wintermelon tea which I thought was great and refreshing. I also ordered their fried snack combo where you can choose two--I got their popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. Both were very good, nice and crispy and well-seasoned. The interior is also well done and cute, and they even have a little kids table with kid sized chairs which is such a rare thing but my toddler loved it. Service was also very friendly and helpful! Overall I recommend this place and hope they succeed in this boba-shop-dense area.

I came last week and got a drink. Passionfruit lime was what I got. It was good. The staff was nice and the place was really chill. Looking forward to trying other things.

If you know me, you know I am completely obsessed with duck shit tea. And for the millionth time:…read moreno, there is no duck or manure in it! It's actually a premium Phoenix Dancong oolong known for its ridiculously sweet, floral aroma. Legend has it the original tea farmer made up the name so rivals wouldn't steal his secret crop. My previous go to spot for this tea closed down, but Pawfect Drinks, a small husband and wife run shop in San Gabriel, has officially taken its place. They use fresh fruit, never skimp on ingredients, and have plenty of seating if you want to hang out, study, or play board games. It's open daily from noon to 10 PM, and it isn't just approved by me, my very strict, hard to please Asian mom gives it two thumbs up, too. Here's my go-tos: Duck Shit Lemon Tea: They hand muddle fresh lemon right into the brewed oolong. While they don't use perfume lemons, this is still easily one of the best duck shit lemon teas in the area. Durian Smoothie: If you love durian, do not skip this. You can get standard durian or durian avocado. They use real Thai durian and are extremely generous with the portion. It's thick, creamy, and packed with actual fruit on top of fruit. Strawberry Chinese Yogurt Shake: Move over, Erewhon! This easily rivals the Hailey Bieber smoothie at a fraction of the cost. The Chinese yogurt adds a delicious, tangy creaminess, and you can swap in coconut milk if you're dairy free. It's loaded with probiotics and works wonders for digestion. They also offer mango, banana, dragon fruit, and hawthorn options. Lychee Sparkling Soda: Super refreshing, light, and packed with lychee jelly and chia seeds. Perfect for a hot afternoon. With so many massive boba chains dominating the SGV, I love supporting a local mom and pop spot doing things right.

They open late (10 pm) and have a very inviting interior that encourages people to sit down and lounge. For the durian lovers out there (not me)... they have durian offerings for you between durian or durian/avocado. I tried the Banana Yogurt Shake. I've had the purple rice yogurt shake before from other yogurt drink yogurt shakes offered and since I like bananas, I had to try it. And, WOW, this was really good!!! Also tried the Peach Oolong Milk Tea that also hit the spot if you're not looking for a shake. Check out my pics!
