This was my go to place when I worked in Brisbane, & that was 10yrs ago! I just happened to be in the area and was craving Chinese food. I'm glad that this restaurant is still in business & the chicken chow mein was delicious! It a small hole in the wall and they are not expensive compared to a lot other restaurants in the Bay Area are pricey!

We love this place. Food is tasty and fresh, reasonably priced ($10-15 per dish). Portions are huge and worth it, especially in this economy. DTF garlic green beans here, except the portion can feed 3-4 people for a couple bucks cheaper. Sweet n sour chicken and those green beans were the star stand outs, and I typically don't go for sweet n sour, but my bf said it's the best sweet n sour he's had and he typically orders that when we get Chinese takeout. I called in an order with 5 dishes and a soup on a Saturday around 6 pm, they said it'd be ready in 25 mins. Food was piping hot and ready to go when we got there. They take card, no extra card fee. Looks like a square machine so Apple Pay is probably accepted too. Sign on the door says take out only. Street parking wasn't too busy. Service was efficient, yet friendly and kind. I love to support local businesses like this one. Came in and saw an older man working the wok while the younger man took care of the order logistics. We will definitely come back to try more home-y dishes!

Lucky House never disappoints. I do appreciate the consistency in freshness of ingredients, flavor profiles, texture, taste and that their entrees is not submerged in oil; Thank you for serving our community and for the friendly and welcoming environment you all emmit!

This place is bomb and I love this restaurant so so much. Everytime when I come to Brisbane library and I always come and get this. Usually I get the lunch special and substitute white rice with vegetables for extra dollars. It's so worth it to me because personally I don't eat white rice because I am on keto diet. This place is super keto friendly for me. As a hongkongese raised and born in Hong Kong, the taste of the plates I ordered is just right and not too salty and full of flavors!! Highly recommend this place for everything! Not to mention that the owner is super nice and friendly. Yes they do take Apple Pay :)) Five STARSSSSSSS!

I was introduced to Lucky House last year through a previous employer and I have to say that they've become a Chinese restaurant that I am quite fond of. The man who owns and runs the restaurant is extremely nice and they offer speedy service. The restaurant is not open for dine it but they offer takeout. I threw a party in June and ordered their party tray of chicken wings--those were the first to go. Everyone enjoyed them and in hindsight, I should've ordered 2 party trays. Having ordered from them multiple times, I can say that their food is always delicious and fresh. This time around, I ordered 2 servings of their potstickers and 1 serving of their chicken wings appetizer. The wings were crispy and flavorful and the potstickers were crispy but soft at the same time.

Decent Chinese food reasonably price even in time of inflation this price point is right there with other restaurants. Ordered online and food was ready 15 min. Right next to Melissa's taqueria, across from the Brisbane library. They have typical Chinese entrees and also plate lunches all day.

This spot is my favorite Chinese restaurant to stop by when I'm in Brisbane! Menu is large, prices are good, and it tastes very authentic. The flavors for every dish I've tried here has always been packed with flavor. I ordered the Salt & Pepper Fish, which is essentially fried fish fillet with a salt & pepper flavor. It was sooo good! The batter was perfectly crispy, fish was packed with seasoning, and I loved that there were fresh jalapeños and green onions sprinkled above. I like a bit of crunch and spice with every bite, and the jalapeño provides just that. It also say on top of bed of shredded cabbage. The chicken chow mein was also delicious! The noodles themselves were flavorful and seasoned, and the beans sprouts and onions complimented the noodles really well. Portion was also massive! Will be coming back again for sure!

Consistently amazing. My family and I order from here every other week and it it's consistently delicious. Hot and fresh always. A staple in Brisbane! Top: 55. Fish w/ Black Bean Sauce, 77. Ambiance wise, don't expect much as this is a down to earth spot/cantonese cafe/diner. However, service is timely and friendly, considering this isn't a fine dining establishment. Most of the plates we ordered were tasty including the soy sauce thin noodle chow mein, egg custard, braised chicken feet and steamed gai lan. I didn't care for the egg rolls and pan fried turnip cake, as they didn't taste right and the egg rolls were bland. The green onion pancake was flat, soft and not crispy, disappointing. Frozen ones at Asian markets taste better fried at home. We needed a high chair and were told none were available. They had some high chairs upstairs but they didn't appear to be clean. We finally commandeered one after a party left, with no assistance from the wait staff.

They also made a great broth with the duck bones that served as an excellent consommé. The rest of the dishes were also good - I would order that shrimp and rainbow salad again for sure. All of the food was what you expected from a typical chinese dim sum restaurant and we were very pleased. The biggest takeaway is from a short interaction I had with the hostesses (the women wearing the black jackets at the front of the restaurant). When one of the waitresses accidently knocked over the soy sauce on the table and onto the my pants, she was very apologetic. I understand as we are all human and mistakes happen. The manager came by and provided us napkins/wet tissues as well as being apologetic. I was able to go to the bathroom and wash/dry off the stain in 5 minutes. It was not a big deal at all to me and I went back to our table. When the hostess came by and said she was sorry, she also mentioned to sit on the inside of the table next time. I didn't want to counter as my mother was present as well as all the other staff were very cordial. However, when you make a statement like that and to imply that I had anything to do with the sauce getting on my clothes, it just takes turns all of these apologies into a hollow statement. Even though it was a bad interaction from one individual, it left a very sour impression on myself and I would rather go to other restaurants than repeatly go here again.

You can bring in your fish, vegetables, or meat to have the restaurant cook it for you! Saturday dim sum at 11 am opening time was busy, requiring us to stand and wait. Not much of a waiting area, lacking chairs. Several people were ordering to go. Friday late lunch around 12:30 pm was a good time to go. The parking lot can be a bit of a nightmare to navigate. Tight corners, narrow driving lanes, bumpy pavement, not clearly marked or narrow parking slots with all Asian drivers. It feels one way and full at times. You enter the T-shaped restaurant through a hallway, where the cashier is. It opens up to one large main dining room to your left and a likely banquet room room/medium sized dining room to your right. Lots of large round tables with Lazy Susans. When the restaurant is full, it can feel claustrophobic. Carpeted floors. Not a dive. Not the most beautiful place for a wedding banquet, but a great place to eat. I look forward to trying more dishes and reordering my favorites.

The chow fun was decent but I've definitely tasted better. Kinda pricy at $18 though the beef slices were big.
