Very good Chinese fast food restaurant in Colma! They gave us complimentary tea which is a teapot with a black tea bag. We ordered the honey walnut shrimp chow mein $14 and black bean fish with rice $12. We really appreciated how they gave us separate plates to share the big portions and the fortune cookies at the end. Seems like the menu and forks cater more to an American crowd since they didn't give us chopsticks. The people who worked there know Cantonese. The food came out very fast and it had a yummy meal. They only accept cash or Venmo.

We stopped here after dropping off my teen son at In and Out. We had and hankering for Chinese, so we dropped and ran! We stopped here planning to bring food home for other family members, so we bought a LOT! We had chicken chow fun, fried calamari, black bean beef, chicken and vegetables, sweet and sour pork, chicken won ton soup, and house fried rice. The table was too small for our order, but everything came hot and fresh and fast! It was all good, with nice crisp vegetables, tender meats, and sauces all seasoned just right. Were were also impressed at the service. It all came out so fast, so we had to get to-go boxes going just to have room to eat. The staff were there in a hot second, picking up the plates and handing us containers to fill. We enjoyed our meal and our family at home were happy, too.

There is interior seating but it's greasy spoon vibe. Wong's Cafe when I came on a late Sunday afternoon was very busy with takeout orders, and my walk-in order was ready within 15 minutes. Street parking can be tight. My order consisted of a Chow Fun with BBQ Pork that was well made and contained a generous amount of meat. The Beef with Bean Cake was good and again had lots of meat though I prefer the dish with Firm or Extra Firm Tofu. I can happily say the cooking is still spot on.

Paid about $16 for an order full of fried pork fat. I do not recommend getting these I should've believed the last review that said it's mostly batter... and they didn't even have the salt and pepper taste that most Chinese places have.. gross and a waste of money :/

The food was amazing and its a great to go spot! They are fast and affordable! The service is so quick. I love their food. I got the Honey Walnut Chicken, look H.W.S. Is my favorite but i dont see any post or pictures about the H.W.C. So i decided to try it and it was AMAZING! The scrambled eggs w/ beef is my favorite its so good. You could do it with shrimp also but the beef is where its at. Until next time!!

Friendly staff, good food for the price. Has decent amount of seating inside. Will definitely come again!

Singapore rice noodles with less shrimp

This is a most reasonably priced restaurant which makes superior Chinese foods. I try to patronize them always when I'm in town, I want them to stay in business! We always seem to order takeout from them but that's because we're normally dining with a lot of people and it's more comfortable to simply order out and bring to friends house to share along with what someone else brings. Parking is challenging if you don't bring someone else to pickup the orders. I also noticed that they do a huge amount of takeout as evidenced by the huge staging area for their takeout orders. We ordered the Singapore rice noodles but asked them to give us a lot less shrimp in the order, we're not a fan of shrimp and they seem to have a lot of shrimp in their orders, we love the rice noodles but shrimp not so much. We also ordered the salty fish with chicken fried rice, now that's comfort food. They do a fantastic job with this dish along with the great job they do with every dish they make. The prices may have changed but that's to be expected but their quality has not wavered.

It's a hole in the wall. Mainly for take out food. It's good. You can taste the "wok hay" that their woks are seasoned well. Ordered mix veggies, tomato beef chow mein HK style pan fried noodles extra crunchy. They separated the beef, and sauce in another container so you can pour it on at home yourself. They way it should be served! Last dish was salted fish/chicken fried rice. Made the way it's suppose to taste:authentic village style. Cash or Venmo only! Yum!

But Suily's Cafe has a unique way to serve it. They serve the hot soup and the deep fried won ton dumplings separately. You add them as you eat, and they stay crispy. The thick soup was loaded with egg, tofu, cilantro, mushrooms, and green onion. OMG, the soup was boiling HOT! I had to gently sip it. Then gradually I added the crispy won tons. Wow, the ten dumplings loaded the bowl. These plump won tons and the thick soup made for a satisfying meal. Price: $12.00, serves 1-2 ppl. Yes, I would definitely return if I was in the area. As a matter of fact, the rice tastes incredible when you get the sauces of the dishes mixed into it. Also be prepared, because although the food isn't overly spicy, you will likely be eating a couple dishes that are spicy and will feel the kick stack up hence why they call it Spicy House! Most Chinese restaurants will accommodate a guest request so long as they have the ingredients and they know how to compose the dish. How they work out the pricing may be something else. At the table immediately behind my mom, I heard the guest ordering a Hot & Sour Soup, add Won Ton. One of my favorite mash-ups! We ended up having a very nice conversation over lunch. Of course, we ordered the same soup and the price they charged was a reasonable $16.95. I've had some places try to charge me for two soups which I think is ridiculous. Ordering was easy, the staff were genuinely warm and accommodating, and the food came out in about 10 minutes! No complaints on the service side at all. Honestly, the team here was a highlight. The food, however, was a bit hit or miss. What I'd recommend: Honey Walnut Prawns: The clear standout of the meal. Well executed, good flavor, and the shrimp were a generous size. If you come here, get this. What I'd skip: Fujian Fried Rice: Unfortunately pretty disappointing. The texture was mushy and it lacked flavor throughout. Wouldn't order again. Deep Fried Flounder: Way too heavily battered. The thick coating of flour overpowered everything and there wasn't much flavor coming through underneath. Could be a solid dish with a lighter touch. Seafood Pan-Fried Crispy Noodle: Decent enough but pretty flat on flavor. Just okay. Deep Fried Fish Balls: The flavor was actually there, which was a plus, but they were a bit overcooked and came out harder than they should have been. Overall, the service genuinely saved the experience. The staff were great and the vibe was pleasant. But the food didn't quite land for me and I likely won't be back. If you do go, stick to the Honey Walnut Prawns and maybe explore some dishes I didn't try.

No water, just pure concentrated flavor. The restaurant gets its name from simmering, one of the essential Chinese cooking techniques, and you can taste that philosophy across the whole menu. The Dry Pot lived up to the hype, but the real surprise was the skewers. Beef, lamb, and chicken, intensely flavorful and rich. I can't stop thinking about them. The potstickers were also way better than expected. Usually a throwaway order at most places, but here they were juicy and packed with flavor. The beef pancakes were fantastic. Golden and crispy on the outside, juicy flavor bomb on thes inside. Both crunchy and a little chewy (in the good way). Came back a few weeks later with friends and ordered the whole grilled fish, which I'd been eyeing since my first visit. It looked magnificent, but it didn't really pop the way the other dishes did. If you love fish it's worth trying, but the dry pot, skewers, beef pancakes, and dumplings are the stars here. We also got a few veggie dishes which were all great accompaniments...but nobody is here for the veggies. A few practical notes. They have a beer tap but it doesn't work, so if you're into beer, they've got a few options by the bottle. Parking is easy since it's in the Serramonte Center, and you can combine it with a trip to Jagalchi, Target, or whatever else you need. Both times I came there was plenty of seating. I'll be back soon, and next time I'm getting the dry pot with their handmade noodles.

They are located in a strip mall near several different food places, bakery, and a bowling alley. This is a solid dim sum place, with no frills and reasonable prices. You order off a printed menu that's in Chinese with tiny English subtitles. You can also order off their regular menu if you want to supplement the dim sum dishes. Their food is very good, and some dishes were excellent. The service was pretty quick, and before we knew it, all our dishes were out with almost no room on the lazy Susan. The standouts for me were: + Steamed custard buns (piggy buns) - I ordered these for the kiddies, but dang they are so good. The custard filling is so velvety, it's almost like pudding. I think I detected a hint of coconut too - yum. + Beef chow fun - this had a really good wok flavor and the noodles were less wide than most. The noodles didn't clump either, and the bean sprouts were still crispy. + Roasted pork belly - the skin was so crispy and the pork was juicy. We ordered most of the basic dishes like har gaw, sui mai, noodle rolls, turnip cake, stuffed eggplant, chicken feet, etc. and they were all above average. My only complaint is if you don't read Chinese, the menu is a little hard to navigate. The English subtitles are so small that if you're looking for something, you have to scan the front and back of the menu trying to find the item. I was looking for sticky rice in lotus leaf, but found sticky rice roll and thought it was the same thing. It wasn't. The sticky rice roll was not bad, but I found the rice drier than when it's in lotus leaf. We ordered a few things by mistake because the English subtitles were not that descriptive. Overall, a great alternative to more popular places like Koi Palace. The menu may not be as creative as Koi, but you don't have to deal with the lines and you still get great food.

We tried the BBQ Pork pastry, and it was flaky, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet and savory--definitely recommend that one. Overall, we enjoyed almost everything we ordered. The only miss for us was one of the fried fish dishes and the green onion mantou, which was just okay. Would we come back? Absolutely. The service was efficient, the portions generous, and the food solid. Great spot if you're looking for dim sum that delivers on quality without the usual weekend chaos.
