Coincidentally, some of my friends were also thinking of coming here so we made it happen on Sunday evening. We pre-ordered the big duck and shared the rainbow salad, bok choy with morel mushrooms, sweet and sour shrimp and sweet and sour whole fish. The Peking Duck was indeed the best I've had in the Bay Area (it's crispy, rich but somehow not greasy). You get the traditional crepes (as opposed to the Bao in most places) and accompaniments. They also made a great broth with the duck bones that served as an excellent consommé. The rest of the dishes were also good - I would order that shrimp and rainbow salad again for sure. Service was OK and the restaurant looks recently remodeled. There were five of us and we spent about $55 each - an incredible value for the meal. Highly recommended!!!

The place was busy by the time we got there, so plan in advance or get reservations. My favorite dishes were the black pepper steak, cumin lamb, and of course, the duck. I really liked how they also offer to fry or stew the duck bones to your preference after finishing. The duck was juicy and perfectly cooked. Parking is easy since it's the big shopping mall lot. I'd just recommend going early or getting reservations in advance. It seems like it gets busy a lot.

UGHHH yes bro fried rice is GOOD i haven't stuffed that in my mouth since like 5 yrs of age. i love the little salty pieces and also the yummy rice and all the oily fish. wonton mein is delicious. super tender beef, bouncy firm noodles, msg laden soup. wontons are too small but cooked well and very flavorful. sugar ball is COLD and sugary and fried. idk it wasn't my thing. it has a custardy dough center that tastes nasty to me also everything is lowkey overpriced but i would say it's generally worth it. HAIL HONG KONG AND GUANGZHOU!!!

I don't eat porridge often, usually when really under the weather so I'm fortunate to not gone to get some in a while. I called my pickup order since I didn't see an online option. The store front is Ichi Ramen so it's confusing in case you get lost in the busy plaza. I ordered shrimp, fish and plain porridge (congee) along with beef chow fun. 4 dishes total. Total came out to under $60 and it was a heavy bag! The porridge has a nice thick consistency without being runny. It had flavor to not need seasoning and surprisingly large portions of seafood. The chow fun was decent but I've definitely tasted better. Kinda pricy at $18 though the beef slices were big. I appreciated it wasn't as oily as other chow fun I've had so easy to eat without feeling kinda gross after. Solid value, good food, and worth a rec for porridge. All in all, I'd definitely return. 4.5 stars.

The brisket was flavorful but not the most tender, and the thick slices didn't help. The wonton noodles had a good texture, but needed a more flavorful sauce. The oyster sauce that came on the side helped a bit. The tendon and tripe were perfectly tender, with the tripe being nicely seasoned and juicy. The liver was a bit too livery for my taste that day. I appreciated the quick service and reasonable prices. I'd like to come back to try more of their menu to find dishes more to my taste.

However I was devastated that they stopped offering my favorite steamed vegetable roll! We even asked if they can make it for us but they said no T__T nevertheless, everything we ordered was delicious as always! We always order the marinated crispy tofu, brisket, and fried crispy roll. We also ordered the dumpling noodle soup. I love the noodles here! Perfectly springy texture! I'm not a fan of the dumplings but that's because I don't like shrimp and woodear mushrooms but my mom liked them. All in all, we will definitely come back again. I just really hope they'll bring back the veggie roll...

But I'm not upset at all about this impromptu decision as we had a great meal here. Our table of 6 ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. the most notable items for me were the spicy wontons and fish in chili oil. The dishes were spicy but not so much so that you couldn't enjoy the actual flavors of the dish. For those that like the Szechuan tingling feeling, the chicken in explosive chilis was also quite good. We had also given the string beans, green onion pancake, and pork and shrimp dumplings a shot and all of them hit the spot. I'm usually a huge fan of braised beef noodle soup so decided to get that here too. It wasn't the same as if I had gotten this dish at a Taiwanese restaurant; compared to the strong flavors of the other dishes, this one was pretty mild. So it's something I would skip next time I come, but every other dish was on point. Our waitress was also great at taking care of us, bring out our food quickly and helping us to clear the other plates. Even after we finished our meal and overstayed our welcome by continuing to chat, the staff didn't make us feel rushed to leave.
