Combination fried rice, Lollipop Chicken, and Chow mien
    Danielle T.

The portions are huge. The fried rice has so much flavor, i literally ate it again for breakfast. They give you so much Chicken in one order it's insane. The sauce that comes with the chicken as well was Bomb.com, I love that it's To-go only bc you can order and leave, there's no line or anything!!

My Go-To Chinese takeout place in SSF (they only do takeout since the pandemic). I think I might have eaten in once way back in the mid-00's. All of their dishes are good and inexpensive. I like their green bean chicken, broccoli beef and garlic chicken. Also very good their fried rice (any), chow mein and chow fun (it's no fun without Chow Fun). Anyway, I am so glad to know that they are still in business with a takeout only model. It says good things about them for sure. Pic time

Initially looking at this to go order, I couldn't even tell what it was. I thought it was a wrong item. Then I realized, it's honey walnut prawns. I've never seen this amount of batter on prawns before. We couldn't even eat it. The shrimp was super small. We had to threw it away. We've had food from here before but today was a total miss.

I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size of the lunch combo, great price and great food. I tried their famous lollipop chicken, which was very crispy, and I loved the sauce that came with it. For $12, the combo includes 6 pieces of lollipop chicken, rice, an egg roll, and a slice of orange. They accept cards. Street parking available. To-go orders only. Tip: Even if a specific lunch item isn't listed (for example, sweet and sour chicken), ask anyway, they're happy to make it as a lunch combo.

Hot Diggity, dog sky dragon is breathing fire with these dank wings! Ordered the famous lollipop, chicken wings and they came out about 18 bucks for 10 wings. Take out only came out fresh in about 5 to 10 minutes. I parked across the street and cannot wait so I ate these wings in the parking lot. Brought me back to my degenerate days of eating Wendy's in the parking lot. These gotta be one of the crispy wings I've had ever. They are definitely worth burning the shit out of the roof of your mouth. They are breaded and seasoned which you can eat alone without the sauce. Some wings are a little bit heavily breaded, but that's A-OK because they were so crispy and delicious. The garlic sauce on the side came out warm and was perfect for dipping. How did this place know that I was a dipper? The sauce is similar to San tung and 3 star but not as sweet. The wings were good size and juicy. One of these days I gotta get a party size order and just lay in bed and smother myself with these wings. I definitely gotta get back out here and smash.

Ordered the lollipop chicken lunch special at 12:15. Came out to $13.50. The lunch special comes with an egg roll and a choice of steamed rice or fried rice. They said the food would come out in 5 to 10 minutes. It was spot on, got my food at 12:21. Guys, I'm not gonna lie, this place is a banger. They have a separate tub for the sauce so the chicken doesn't get soggy. It was super crispy and super flavorful. And then when you dip it in that sauce, sweet and salty, oh my gosh it was so good. And it was a lot of food too. Like six or seven wings, a good chunk of fried rice, and an egg roll. For $13.50 you honestly cannot beat that. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here and I would give this place a five out of five. Misc Notes: I would recommend finding a place to sit down and eat this because I ate it in my car and I low key made a mess. It could be a skill issue on my part though. Trying to self sauce the wings in the car was kinda hard. This place is to go and pick up only, they don't have dine in. There's also not a lot of parking. There's a small parking lot across the street that looks residential and there's limited street parking. I ended up parking in front of the coin laundromat that's about a two minute walk away.

Beef Chow Fun and Chicken Wing with Garlic Sauce (Lollipop Chicken)
    Tiffany T.

TO GO ONLY. Ordered the Chicken Wing with Garlic Sauce (Lollipop Chicken, comes with 10 pcs) for $16.95 and an order of the Beef Chow Fun for $12.95. Make sure to ask for chili oil or soy sauce because they won't give it to you unless you ask, but their chili oil is complete garbage here. It's not spicy at all so bring your own as well as your own salt! The legendary lollipop chicken lives true to the hype! VERY crispy, crunchy and if you get a piece that used to be a flat, you're lucky because those ones are the juiciest and have some fat in them and y'all know fat is flavor!! The batter on the chicken is airy and light, not overly battered and doesn't give you that gross oily feeling you sometimes feel after eating fried chicken. They definitely got frying chicken down to a tee. Everyone raves about the garlic sauce but honestly.. It wasn't anything special. It tasted like a more savory / soy sauce added sweet and sour sauce with garlic. It was good but the chicken is good on its own (you should add your own salt though). My friend said it reminded him of an orange chicken sauce which he didn't care too much for either. GET THE BEEF CHOW FUN! It has an insane amount of wok hei (that complex smokey, savory flavor and aroma in Chinese cooking), and the noodles were so chewy and bouncy, definitely not overcooked in the slightest! Need to add soy sauce or good chili oil to this though, but I'd rather have something need salt than be too salty. I'm coming back.

S&p pork, snow peas, hot & sour soup, lollipop chicken, beef chow fun

Was just introduced to Sky Dragon and wow color me impressed. We had the chicken lollipops, salt & pepper pork chops, beef chow fun, hot and sour soup, and veggies. All was on point but particularly impressed with their fried chicken and pork. I love salt & pepper (fish, chicken, pork, etc.) and they have their seasoning and batter, everything, dialed in. It's not easy - lots of places don't get it right - but somehow theirs is light and crispy even after sitting out for awhile at a party. It also seemed like a huge amount of food - great bang for your buck! Would definitely get takeout again here - ASAP.

Came here around 5:30 pm, not busy at all. There is a parking lot in front of the apartments and near the 7/11 very hard to find parking along as the street parking on the sides. They are only takeaway, doesn't look like they will open up the dining room soon. You put your order to the cashier and there is seating you can take to wait for your order. I got the sky dragon fried rice, super good, and filled to the brim. I got the chow mein as well, super flavorful! The main star of the show was the lollipop chicken, with garlic sauce. Super flavorful and I can eat the whole chicken off the bone, I don't like too much fat and it's so good and delicious full of meat. I recommend the lollipop chicken heavy, I can eat a whole party tray of that alone!

It has been at least 6 years since I wrote a review on Sky Dragon. I've gone several times since my last review and decided to do a refresh. The Lollipop Chicken has always been one of the best dishes and is still a great dish. The chicken has a nice garlic flavor, meaty, tender and nice fried crunchy taste. The garlic sauce that you get on the side gives it that little extra over the top flavor. I also ordered some Beef Chow Mein, the noodles weee skinny and flat, good flavor, couldn't really taste the beef even though they give you a lot of meat. Very generous portions. Sky Dragon is top of my list for Chinese Food in SSF. They still only do take-out, staff is nice and they are fast at cooking up the orders.

Came here on a Tuesday at 1:00pm. It is take out only. They are quick and food is hot. We got the tomato beef chow mein, lollipop chicken and their chicken and string bean lunch special. Lollipop chicken was yummy especially when you add the sauce. The lunch special was good, needed the sauce that comes with it to give it more flavor. The tomato beef chow mein was ok.

Sweet and sour chicken was hot and fresh and decent and so was the chow mein for the upcharge which I think was worth it. Appetizer combo with eggrolls, fried wonton, crab roll, and tempura shrimp was the worst. The eggroll had some taro and veggies in it but really no flavor. The tempura was straight out of the box from Grocery Outlet, and the fake crab rolls had very few imitation crab and too much cream cheese. It was a huge 1 out of 10 for us. I would skip the appetizers that I mentioned completely. Not worth the $13. Overall this reminds me of when you're running to catch your flight at the airport and want something quick and easy, but not necessarily great or good. I can't see myself returning since there are so many other Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area.
