A huge tour bus of people filled the restaurant when I was there, so understandably the server/cashier/busser/owner? was a bit busy. My food was delicious. I got tofu with mixed vegetables, egg drop w/mushroom soup, and my husband and I split an order of vegetable rolls which came with 2 packets of duck sauce. Everything was cooked really well - tender and crisp veggies that were lightly seasoned. The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My meal didn't come with rice (which I was expecting) so I ordered a side of it for a few dollars. My husband got Singapore lo mein which was a yellow curry dish. It was flavorful but not super spicy. I would come here again for the tasty food. The atmosphere is meh but the service is friendly if not speedy.

I got an order of General Tso's, the sauce and taste was great but they filled up half the container with broccoli covered in the sauce instead of chicken. Like literally half the standard sized container, the container wasn't bigger or anything. I didn't order broccoli and chicken, I ordered and paid for chicken. I've never had another Chinese place do that before. Was especially annoying since I ordered vegetables separately already. A lot of the chicken was also chewy and dry. But if it weren't for that it would've been really good.

We love it when a restaurant exceeds your expectations and makes you want to stay in town longer…read morethan overnight, to enjoy another meal. This clean, super-friendly establishment did just that! The wonton soup was definitely the best I have ever had; five dumplings easily recognizable as homemade, packed with tasty pork morsels, swimming in a gorgeous clear broth, seasoned perfectly with green onions. When the soup was brought to the table, the aroma instantly confirmed something special was about to be experienced. DON'T leave this restaurant without ordering this item!!!! The spring rolls, egg rolls (homemade) kept reinforcing how wonderful the food is here. We ordered the Singapore Noodles which was generous in its portion size, full of flavour, shrimp, chicken and pork and just the right amount of spicy heat. Others dishes being delivered to tables surrounding us gave further evidence that the kitchen can't help but produce deliciousness in abundance. Fresh, fragrant and tantalizing! Even the Chinese tea was noteworthy! Sadly we are in town for one night. Future detours will be made along our travel route to enable us to sit down to another meal. Thank you, Boston Chinese Restaurant, for an unforgettable dining experience in Gananoque!

I got the mooshu chicken and teriyaki sticks.... none of this is rocket science but it wasn't greasy and the chicken was not fried in the oil like some places do. This is a military town so maybe there are folks from larger cities and the west coast that demand a better pac-rim/asian/Chinese product. Between the pho joint, the sushi place, and this take-out joint...they are pretty lucky to have these in the tundra of New York.

In addition, they were w/o any dumpling sauce. The prom fried rice was missing the typical scrambled egg ingredient, scant peas, carrots and onion and scant pork pieces. The hot n sour soup was missing bamboo shoots and pork. After a long drive, I was so disappointed and left hungry since the dumplings were inedible, the rice bland and the soup lacking normal ingredients. In fairness the spring rolls were fine. I'd been happier w/ a quick drive-through of fast food. Prices were typical - food quality was blatantly not. I certainly will not be stopping there again.
