Ordered take out after attending a training. The restaurant interior was clean and well organized in typical Vietnamese style. The food was prepped and ready on time for pick up. I ordered a house special bahn mi, shrimp spring rolls and house special pho. The portions were perfect and each dish was flavorful. I was especially fond of the pho all toppings and meats were well prepared. I was in town for a training and one thing to note about the pho is that it comes with broth in a quart container and all other toppings in a separate dish, condiments in a bag which didn't all fit in any of the containers provided. It was manageable but something I would not for next time to either eat in or opt out of the pho. read more

We ordered 5 pho. 2 adults, 3 kids. for the kids we asked just noodles and meat. instead we got noodles, green onion, cilantro, no meat. ended up picking out all the chopped veggies in their bowls. It just wasn't what we ordered but we didn't complain, whatever. the broth was bland beyond belief. we eat lots of pho, syracuse has a good vietnamese spot, but this place in watertown is pathetic. bland soup for a pho is inexcusable. Inattentive servers. we ordered bahn mi in addition, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. none of us finished our meals, but we didn't complain, we paid full price, we didn't want to be viewed as if we were just trying to get free food/discounts. once we got up from the table it took a solid 5 minutes for anyone to attend to us to settle the bill. it was not particularly busy. this was my 3rd and last visit. never again. no bean sprouts, no basil, no citrus, not enough spoons, didn't bring us our full order, brought us the wrong orders. spent 10 minutes picking out green onion and cilantro from toddlers orders. felt like we were working there. you can easily hit up the asian market in water town get a pack of pho seasoning and make a better tasting meal for less money at home. for the price, it should be good. it isn't. the hahn mi veggies are cut my sometime who has never had bahn mi. cuts of veggies like an italian pizzeria salad. cuts of carrots and cucumber so large they aren't even pickled. read more

We were coming home after a family reunion and I was craving pho. Glad we found Lotus. It's very clean and the service was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. I ordered a medium meatball pho and my husband had the chicken wings and shrimp dumplings. The pho was great. It easily rivals places we go to in the DC area. Long way from home and was caving some pho. I have tried take out from this place once and it was not good. If the order sets to long out, the lime in the bag with the vegetables start to go bad and when you mix it with the broth it gives it a bitter flavor. So watch out for that. I decided to give them a try again and got the chicken pho, it's similar to what I get back home, but the broth is not that flavorful however it is still good if you are craving some pho. I was also craving Vietnamese crepe (banh xeo), which I was surprised they served. I wish it came with more lettuce or some toppings. It had beef, shrimp, onions and bean sprouts. It was good. We were in Watertown for a couple of days. While there, we had a craving for Pho. We went on our trusty Yelp app and found this place very close to our hotel. It was about 8:00 and only a few other customers were in the restaurant. So thankfully we didn't have to wait long for our orders to be taken. My husband ordered the pork and shrimp pho. I went for the seafood. It had shrimp, calamari, and fish eggs. Didn't ask what exactly they were, but they tasted good. Both the shrimp (6 large shrimp) and the calamari (plenty) were cooked perfectly. We had both ordered the medium-sized bowls, and they were HUGE. The waiter laughed when he saw our reaction and said 'you should see the large'! My leftovers filled a quart container, and this was after I ate plenty. I was only able to eat one so took the other one home. for a main, I ordered the medium Pho, but should've ordered the smaller version. The medium was very large and had plenty of shrimp. The food here is amazing. I always get the vermicelli bowl with chicken or beef or pork (you can't go wrong!). It's a cold noodle pasta salad with a fish sauce (in case you didn't know) and it's so light and fresh! Their pho is amazing as well! My husband and I both get vermicelli bowls, and split a small bowl of pho (the small bowl of pho would be perfect if I didn't get vermicelli, but for my husband the medium size is best). We love their shrimp spring rolls, steamed shrimp dumplings, and and bahm mi sandwich too! Be prepared to possibly wait! They make everything as you order/fresh so usually we wait 30-45 minutes for our food. Sometimes the appetizers come out during the main course, sometimes things come out all together, and other times things come out super far apart. So just be patient! I am pleased that there is a pho place near me that I can go to whenever I want. The egg rolls were hot, perfectly fried, and the filling was delicious. I did a pick up order this evening for myself for the very first time lotus came highly recommended and I've been craving it. The restaurant was very quiet and soothing. I normally do not eat spicy things but seeing the sirracha and the other sauce mixed together made me curious to try it. I blended everything in and it was the perfect amount of spice for me.
