Ordered take out after attending a training. The restaurant interior was clean and well organized in typical Vietnamese style. The food was prepped and ready on time for pick up. I ordered a house special bahn mi, shrimp spring rolls and house special pho. The portions were perfect and each dish was flavorful. I was especially fond of the pho all toppings and meats were well prepared. I was in town for a training and one thing to note about the pho is that it comes with broth in a quart container and all other toppings in a separate dish, condiments in a bag which didn't all fit in any of the containers provided. It was manageable but something I would not for next time to either eat in or opt out of the pho. read more

December 14, 2025, this was my 3rd visit. Last time I told myself it would be the last but my wife wanted pho. We weren't given enough spoons, when we asked for more they said yes but never brought them. We ended up sharing spoons.. We ordered drinks that never came and at check out were still on the bill we had to ask to have it removed. We ordered 5 pho. 2 adults, 3 kids. for the kids we asked just noodles and meat. instead we got noodles, green onion, cilantro, no meat. ended up picking out all the chopped veggies in their bowls. It just wasn't what we ordered but we didn't complain, whatever. the broth was bland beyond belief. we eat lots of pho, syracuse has a good vietnamese spot, but this place in watertown is pathetic. bland soup for a pho is inexcusable. Inattentive servers. we ordered bahn mi in addition, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. none of us finished our meals, but we didn't complain, we paid full price, we didn't want to be viewed as if we were just trying to get free food/discounts. once we got up from the table it took a solid 5 minutes for anyone to attend to us to settle the bill. it was not particularly busy. this was my 3rd and last visit. never again. no bean sprouts, no basil, no citrus, not enough spoons, didn't bring us our full order, brought us the wrong orders. spent 10 minutes picking out green onion and cilantro from toddlers orders. felt like we were working there. you can easily hit up the asian market in water town get a pack of pho seasoning and make a better tasting meal for less money at home. for the price, it should be good. it isn't. the hahn mi veggies are cut my sometime who has never had bahn mi. cuts of veggies like an italian pizzeria salad. cuts of carrots and cucumber so large they aren't even pickled. read more

We were coming home after a family reunion and I was craving pho. Glad we found Lotus. It's very clean and the service was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. I ordered a medium meatball pho and my husband had the chicken wings and shrimp dumplings. The pho was great. It easily rivals places we go to in the DC area. The broth was flavorful and the meatballs were delicious. It was a huge portion, so I haven't plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. My husband liked the dumplings and wings too. Long way from home and was caving some pho. I have tried take out from this place once and it was not good. If the order sets to long out, the lime in the bag with the vegetables start to go bad and when you mix it with the broth it gives it a bitter flavor. So watch out for that. I decided to give them a try again and got the chicken pho, it's similar to what I get back home, but the broth is not that flavorful however it is still good if you are craving some pho. I was also craving Vietnamese crepe (banh xeo), which I was surprised they served. I wish it came with more lettuce or some toppings. It had beef, shrimp, onions and bean sprouts. It was good. Buttery which is a bit different but all the flavors were there. The service was good, there was not a long wait for a Friday night. We were in Watertown for a couple of days. While there, we had a craving for Pho. We went on our trusty Yelp app and found this place very close to our hotel. It was about 8:00 and only a few other customers were in the restaurant. So thankfully we didn't have to wait long for our orders to be taken. My husband ordered the pork and shrimp pho. I went for the seafood. It had shrimp, calamari, and fish eggs. Didn't ask what exactly they were, but they tasted good. Both the shrimp (6 large shrimp) and the calamari (plenty) were cooked perfectly. We had both ordered the medium-sized bowls, and they were HUGE. The waiter laughed when he saw our reaction and said 'you should see the large'! My leftovers filled a quart container, and this was after I ate plenty. Went here for dinner. Ordered the medium size Shrimp and Pork Pho with Rice Noodles. I spiced it up with some of the hot chilli oil that was on the table with other condiments. Decent Vietnamese food and very generous portions. I started with a spring roll which was full of shrimp. I was only able to eat one so took the other one home. for a main, I ordered the medium Pho, but should've ordered the smaller version. The medium was very large and had plenty of shrimp. My husband ordered the vegetarian version which was full of vegetables and tofu. The service is wonderful and the restaurant is conveniently located right off of Route 81 in Watertown. Pho- the house special : only had one piece of each meat so very displeased with the amount of meat, the brisket pho was good the meat was tender however overall the pho lacked flavor and really needed four little things of hoisin sauce and sriracha sauce to make the flavor. And you could tell it wasn't fresh cause the bowls came out and the noodles where in a hard ball on the bottom! Like at least break up the noodles to show freshness. Waitress- she was wearing ripped leggings which wasn't good appearance, also forgot my husbands tea twice and our appetizer. I wouldn't mind but there was only one other table beside us so wasn't a reason to forget our orders and then be rude when we asked for the tea and rolls. Had lunch here with a friend. Tried the following: Spring rolls-good! Summer rolls with shrimp-love their peanut sauce!! Lemongrass Chicken- the flavor was good but asked for minimal spice and it was still really spicy. My husband at least got some great leftovers. Went back exactly one year later and the food quality greatly improved! I enjoyed pho, egg rolls, and a coke to compare it to the year before. I am pleased that there is a pho place near me that I can go to whenever I want. The egg rolls were hot, perfectly fried, and the filling was delicious. The pho was steaming and had a wonderful aroma to accompany that distinct pho flavor. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I got a Thai iced tea to-go and it was served in a paper cup which is not what I'm used to and not ideal for sipping iced drinks. The food here is amazing. I always get the vermicelli bowl with chicken or beef or pork (you can't go wrong!). It's a cold noodle pasta salad with a fish sauce (in case you didn't know) and it's so light and fresh! Their pho is amazing as well! My husband and I both get vermicelli bowls, and split a small bowl of pho (the small bowl of pho would be perfect if I didn't get vermicelli, but for my husband the medium size is best). We love their shrimp spring rolls, steamed shrimp dumplings, and and bahm mi sandwich too! Be prepared to possibly wait! They make everything as you order/fresh so usually we wait 30-45 minutes for our food. Sometimes the appetizers come out during the main course, sometimes things come out all together, and other times things come out super far apart. So just be patient! The only pho restaurant near fort drum and it's good! I got the house special pho which comes with all the meat and it was good. I love how they have three sizes because sometimes one order of a pho bowl doesn't fill me up. I got the large and i was able to finish it all. I also got the shrimp spring rolls which was also really good. The peanut sauce is one of the best that I tried. The only downside is that the pho is kind more oily than I would like. I did a pick up order this evening for myself for the very first time lotus came highly recommended and I've been craving it. The restaurant was very quiet and soothing. My order was ready to pick up and the staff was friendly. I ordered the shrimp pho with rice noodles. This was delicious. I normally do not eat spicy things but seeing the sirracha and the other sauce mixed together made me curious to try it. I blended everything in and it was the perfect amount of spice for me. For the last three weeks, I've been coming here once a week with my sister and, boy, am I glad this place exists and is so close to me. The ambience is interesting, first of all. It's very modern, yet traditional and they have a TV where they play random shows/movies. One week it was Bill Nye The Science Guy and the next it was Parks and Rec. On the most recent visit, they were playing songs and then started showing Shrek. It was amazing. BUT the food is what you probably care more about, so let's talk about it. Everything I've ordered here has been exceptional. Of course, I recommend the pho (pronounced more like phuh) -- I usually get the sliced beef brisket and of course it comes with an amazing shiny broth, tender meat, vermicelli noodles, onions and cilantro and extras like fresh bean sprouts, mint leaves, sliced jalapeños and lime. The bahn mi sandwiches are also very good and the egg roll and fried chicken appetizers are great and come with these delicious dipping sauces (I think it's fish sauce but it's spicy and a little sweet.) OH, I almost forgot! If you're a coffee drinker, TRY THE VIETNAMESE COFFEE. That stuff is sunshine in a glass. It smells lovely and has a nice bold, strong taste. I've been getting it with condensed milk and ice, but you can get it without all that. Sometimes, they'll bring the little metal brewer to your table still attached to the cup. It's very cool. My sister usually gets the Thai iced tea -- she loves it. There's already sriracha, hoisin sauce, soy sauce and other condiments on the table, as well as individually wrapped chopsticks, which are of great quality, and napkins. The place sees a good deal of business, it's not usually super busy when we go, but there are a good amount of customers who come and go throughout our visit. I haven't had any problems with the service or cleanliness. And the prices are great, considering the quality and quantity of food. I'm not sure if they have a bathroom; I've just never looked for it. If I had a complaint it would be that the menu is kind of limited but that's a good thing. Gordon Ramsay says it's better to have a few dishes that are excellent than a big menu with mediocre food. Well, this place is definitely in the first category. Everything tastes fresh and fulfilling. However, they do have a curry chicken listed on the menu that I tried to order once and I was told they don't make that any more. I don't know if that was just that day or what. TLDR; highly recommend this place, please take time to fully enjoy the experience. read more
