A true locals-local dive bar! Of which there are...actually quite a few in downtown Juneau, surprisingly. This is one of my favorites. They have shuffle board and a jukebox. Great place to hang out with locals and avoid 'boat people'. Unfortunately, like most dive bars, the beer on tap sucks. It's mostly Alaskan Brewing which I think is an extremely boring brewery. I drank Rainier, something I almost never do. read more

Went in from a cruise to get a drink while deciding where to eat and ordered a lager and also a Guinness stout. Both were cold and tasted great. Because of the weather our ship had to stay overnight so I went back the next day and they stayed open even after the power in town went out. Cash only Was fine and eventually power came back. Couldn't find food open though so ate some chips from the bar and headed back to the ship. Nicky , the bartender was very nice and made the experience better. Will come back again for sure. After our visit to Taku Lodge, we heard the story of Mary Joyce (very interesting lady) who opened the Lucky Lady so thought we should stop while in town. Gear dive bar. Clean and warm. Had a pool table. Small place but seemed more of a local place than the traditional tourist place. We had a couple of Guinness's. Very fresh. Would recommend if you're looking for an off the beaten path on your cruise stop. read more

Of course came here off the cruise ship. The red dog saloon was packed and this seemed like a local place. The bartender was very nice and made us a duck fart like the locals drink it (shaken). It was delicious. Nice little dive bar. read more

We came in to try a local beer and it was a fun place to hang out for a bit. I liked the free snacks, friendly service, and dive bar feel.

Beer was good. NO FOOD??? One beer an we left the bartender could have cared less so that was our cue

Okay, I like this place but I was ripped off last night! At shift change I paid out my $40 bar tab. Had 2 beers and 2 shots and was FORCED to pay another $55. I tried to ask the women bartender and she completely ignored me. Her attitude was atrocious. I am sick of being ripped off!!!!! Listen to the guest when the talk to you! You are not always right! Whale Oil Beef Frank*.... this is best dive bar in all of Alaska!!! (not that I've been to nearly all of them, or even remotely close, but I bet I'm right!) We walked in and were greeted with such warmth and friendliness that we knew we weren't just "stopping in for one" and we didn't! We left there with 2 or 3 in our belly, a t-shirt and a boob beer koozie!! On top of that, it was one of the best memories of our time in Juneau. Diane, our bartender, was like the lady next door and seemed genuinely interested in talking with us and everyone else that came through the doors. Locals loved her, tourists were smiling. She wasn't obnoxious or nosy, just pleasant and comfortable. They have pool, TV and darts(?) as well as some interesting décor along the walls. The Lucky Lady Pub is quite fun. The bartender is super friendly. It's like one of those places where everyone is happy and having a good time. It seems like more locals than just tourists. It's nice and loud and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. We are only having one beer and we are off to whale watch. We are coming back tomorrow. Divey, non-touristy place to get a cheap Alaskan beer and have a friendly conversation. Stopped in on a rainy day to have a few drinks before getting back on our cruise ship. The place was not crowded, but not dead either and had a welcoming, non-pretentious vibe. The bartender was really nice and chatty but not invasive. She kept the drinks flowing and the snacks coming. There are some cute things to look at around the bar including a story of the owner and how the bar got it's name. Plenty of TVs with sports on and a pool table or two. There was also a giant pinata of Donald Trump which I thought was hilarious. Tasty Alaskan Brewery beers on tap and good prices. Easy to get to from the main drag. I'm happy we chose this place to stop in! read more

Stopped in just for a couple drinks. This place was also busier than I expected for mid-day, but I guess people were here to play pool and watch the football game. The bartender was nice, and drinks were cheap. I think I remember them having some kind of drink specials and little touristy trinkets for sale. I wouldn't say it was that memorable of a place, but I would stop here again. I love Irish pubs! read more

My two favortie watering holes are good dive bars and good Irish pubs... Lucky Lady was both. Mostly locals in here when we came, which I appreciated. Loved seeing our bartender playing pool with the locals inbetween service. This doesn't mean she wasn't doing her job. Very attentive, our beers never got close to empty. Good selection. Good prices. If you're looking for a nice spot that's a little less popular than others for tourists, check out this pub. The drinks are strong, the staff is really friendly, and it was a refreshing change than the tourist trap bars. Our bartender was so nice- she told us all about the place's history, tips on things to do in Juneau, like good hiking, edible berries, where to avoid tourists, etc. Thumbs up to Lucky Lady. read more

Laid back dark local's bar with TV's, pool table, friendly vibe. Our cruise ship docked in Juneau and we ran as far away from the tourists and crowds as fast as we could until we stumbled into this place. They have no food but they do sell snacks. Stopped in to listen to the violinists that were playing. Caught our ear as we were passing by. Went about our seeing the town of juneau but had to come back by to listen for a while before boarding the ship. Those two young men were fabulous!!!!!!!!!! read more
