There was like zero people inside with the exception of a few older chinese ladies sitting at one of the circle tables and some video poker players in the back. This place is really small, divey, dingy looking, and a cash only operation. I got the feel that it was primarily a lottery place that just happened to serve a basic Chinese menu along with a couple random non-Chinese items like cheeseburger and fries and a steak dinner. We ordered the #2 which consisted Orange Chicken, steamed white rice (but substituted for fried rice), and Broccoli Beef and #6 which consisted the Cashew Chicken, BQQ Pork, fried rice, and egg roll (see pics) and an order of egg rolls. It appears that their soft drink list appears to be limited as they could only offer Coke, Sprite, and beer. My wife got a Sprite and I ordered a Corona. I would have opted for water but was afraid for possible sanitary purposes. I just wasn't sure. The price tag ran around $33 with tip. We did come a little late, about almost an hour before they were to close. It seemed like nothing was turned on when we ordered and despite the three women there was only one of them cooking. Maybe the others were owners? So, this review is really 2.5 stars for me and here's why. First, the tables were dirty and weren't wiped down. The one we sat at had sticky spots from the previous diners and wasn't able to get it wiped down. Second, the main entrees took well over 30 mins to get served, the order of egg rolls came within the first 15 mins. Partly the reason, the distraction of the video poker players constantly wanting change, winnings, etc. And thirdly, when we did get the food, one of the ladies sitting on the other side at one of the tables kept staring while I ate which made me feel uncomfortable. When I caught her she would look away but it was quite apparent. The food alone was pretty much subpar. Although, the egg rolls were fantastic, everything else was just blah for me. The broccoli beef was borderline cold and/or luke warm and not much flavor. The fried rice was almost inedible, too much soyo, too salty! The orange chicken was crunchy, sweet, and hardly mouth-watering with lots of breading. I tried a piece of my wife's BQQ pork, horrendous. Ice cold, tough, and drier than the Sahara desert. My wife seemed to enjoy the rest of her meal. I felt for the cook. She honestly tried to accommodate as best she could with what she had...I think, but who knows. With the saturated amounts of Chinese places to eat in these parts, I think trying some of the others places may be in order and make this nearby place a distant memory. If you do go here, do the egg rolls. I definitely think they are worth it!
