I went to Lucky Nails Aug. 20th and Mike put such hot water in the food tub that it scalded my left foot. I am shocked that they allow their water heater to be that hot. My foot still feels burned and pink.. I was able to get cool water on it and finished the pedicure because I needed it but should have walked out. I went next door to eat Mexican food after and one of the workers said she got toe fungus there and to never go there and Solaris is better. If I were older and had bad reflexes I would have ended up in the ER with serious burns. Do not go there for your own safety and the flip way they handled it was just as bad. I will call the health dept. as well. The young lady who did do my pedicure did a fine job so there was no issue with her just the manager and Mike who filled my tub. read more

The family now running Lucky Nails is amazing! This is hands down the best nail experience I've ever had. We celebrated three birthdays at the salon and had an experience like none I've ever had before. I did the Organic Pedicure and they actually timed the massage portion to ensure you get ample time massaging your legs and feet. We let them know we were celebrating birthdays and they made it really special with music and treats. I can't get over the value for your money. Went here for a new set of dip. Cost me $60 plus tip and lasted two days before cracking. All nails had thin cracks all over. I went back to have them fixed and was treated like crap. They took off the top coat and re dipped my nails over the cracks. The nails are so thick at the base that my nail catches on them. I asked them to fix that part and they said I'd have to pay for a whole new set. The "fix" job was so sloppy. When I pointed out a couple concerns, like the fact that the nails were still cracked, I was told "you don't know how to do nails" (but I do - went to school for cosmetology and have been doing nails for a long time. I just don't like doing my own). This place has went down hill over the last year or so. I will not be back. read more

I will never go back here again & would not recommend this place to anyone! They over charged my card $450, instead of $45. They didn't know how to fix it and were asking other customers if they knew what to do. Customers we're laughing and saying "glad this wasnt me" right in front of me. It took them 45 minutes to resolve the issue. I kept asking for an update and they kept telling me to "sit down and wait." They we're so unprofessional. They were able to finally reimburse the card and then charged me the $45.00 again on my card after wasting almost an hour of my time. I won't even mention the poor quality of my pedicure. read more

If I could put 0 stars, I would. My nail client came here when I was out of town because a friend of mine recommended this place. They told her that they all had to come off and then proceeded to yank every single acrylic nail off! Never in my 25 years of doing her nails has she ever had to have all her nails pulled off. Never. Usually, not even one. They should be ashamed of themselves. She said it was painful as they were pulling them off - which, I might add, is NOT good for the nailbed. Then they charged her for a full set, when all she wanted, asked for, and needed was a fill. She is a sweet, quiet, non confrontational person so she didn't object. But since I'm not, and I just did her nails for the first time since she was there, I'm voicing both of our disgust for Lucky's Nails now...oh, and, they didn't look good either. read more

I struggled with whether or not I should write this review but after some thought I've realized that I have to. I went here for a manicure and pedicure in April 2021. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. The start of my pedicure was given to me by a man. He began to cut my big toe nails and then was ripping out the nails on both sides of both nails. It was so painful and I started to bleed. He acknowledged that it hurt and that I was bleeding. He then showed me the nails he had removed. I've NEVER EVER had them take out nails in that manner at any nail salon I've ever gone to. They typically just cut off the top. I didn't even know what to do or say. A woman came and completed my pedicure and it was fine. My manicure was completely fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Fast forward to a couple of months later my big toe nails grew back very ingrown. I've never had ingrown toe nails in my life. I ended up having to get part of my big toe nails removed by a podiatrist who stated the ingrown nails were absolutely caused by this pedicure. The podiatrist said my nails now have a 50/50 chance of growing back ingrown. Fast forward to today. My left big toe grew back ingrown after the first removal. Thankfully my right did not grow back ingrown. I had to go get part of my left ingrown toe nail PERMANENTLY removed today and all because of this ONE PEDICURE. This one pedicure has ended up costing me over $500. I am so upset and appalled by this. PLEASE think twice about coming here. read more

Lucky Nails is like no other. Do not hesitate to go there. Top notch experience in all facets. They make it a fun experience. I brought friends there to celebrate our birthdays and they went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. It is so different than your other nail salon experience as everyone actually wants to get to know you and do the best job possible. They have 1500 dip/gel and regular polish to pick from. They do a timed message when doing pedicure so they don't just hurry it through. It is the best dip polish manicure I have received in the area. Do yourself a favor and try this salon. First time at this salon...Walk-in on a weekday evening so wasn't sure if not busy due to dinner hour or if not a popular salon. Yet another Savage nail salon (Bella too) that doesn't list prices and speak in a foreign language so you don't know what is being said! I brought my boyfriend for a manicure while I had both a manicure and a gel pedicure. The two ladies were sweet & nice yet a gent(owner?) abusively belittled them in front of us while being serviced and such was disturbing. If we weren't in the middle of our services we would have walked out due to such. The manicures were ok yet not the best filing jobs. They also refused to work on callused areas of my guys hands thus very disappointed as my guy is both a desk jockey and a handyman kinda guy. The pedicure was very disappointing...the footbaths are not lined with plastic and replaced after each customer. Also I paid extra for callus removal yet they didn't wrap my feet completely for the remover to work optimum and moreover only utilized a pumice stone before and after vs both coarse and fine callus rasps and subsequent fine sanding. When I questioned & requested such during the treatment I was told they don't offer such. Worst pedicure I have ever had. Guess I know now to not go just anywhere convenient when I have time, to always ask questions upfront plus only go to a salon with written descriptions with prices for services. I will drive to Nail Bar in Apple Valley as they were fab and are truly a nail spa experience despite more $! read more
