My new favorite place for a manicure and pedicure. I loved their upgrade Deluxe pedicure for the same price. All the ladies working there are very friendly. I arrived during the day and I was the only customer. The lady named Thanh was super nice. She did an amazing job, while she was massaging my feet and putting spa product on my leg I had to ask her again to make the price was the same for this kind of service. I paid $42. That is really cheap! Most places are $45 or more for a simple mani and pedi. I can't wait to go back!

Would not recommend.:.. my nails are terrible and when I was there and asked for them to be fixed the lady doing them said some nasty things about me in Vietnamese... too bad for them I know what was said. Don't waste your money. If I could give zero stars I would.

My mom and I came in here to get mani / pedis one day for our first time. We both talked highly of our experience afterwards. I think Alisha did my full set and I was SO IMPRESSED. Normally I show an inspiration picture and if they end up somewhat similar I'm happy, but she was so detailed that they were spot on.

cuticles not trimmed- paint subpar- my polish not completely taken off underneath.

* WHERE/WHEN * Went in to Twin City Nails last night (Wednesday) at about 6:50pm, they close at 8pm. I was greeted by a woman that asked what I wanted, I answered a full set of nails. She said umm.. then looked at the clock and then at the appt books and said okay fine, take a seat here. I cracked that up as whatever I came in close to close she's probably had a long day just like me. * SERVICE * She got started right away by glueing on the nails.. no cuticle trimming and didn't even make sure to get all of my charcoal colored polish off so you can see that in some of the corners of my nails. I would say i'm the most annoyed by the fact she didn't trim my cuticles or push them back so the polish was right up to my cuticles. The pictures i've provided look like they are a few days old because of how far out the polish looks on my nails but they were taken an hour after the service. * COLORS * While I was picking out the gel polish colors (they have a zillion to pick from) I happened to pick out a color i loved when i showed her she said they were phasing those out and didn't have that one. Why is it a choice then? * VERDICT * Overall the place is fine. I will probably never go back. I'm not saying I wanted a spa service but i'd say you would probably get a little more at most places at least polish that covers all of your nail and they take care of your cuticles. I got a full set of gel nails with gel polish, cost: $55.

ONLY gel polish, not full manicure $20

I went here on a Tuesday evening around 5:30ish and just walked right in. A lady said hello right away and asked what I wanted to do, which was nice because sometimes you are ignored when you walk in nail salons at first! She was super helpful and nice. I ended up getting gel polish done, but no manicure because I'm going to do that in 2 weeks before a wedding that I'm in. I just wanted a quick gel polish to help my nails grow out - but that's besides the whole point of this review hahaha ANYWAY... just gel polish is $20, and I believe a gel manicure is $35? Prices are decent. One thing I LOVED about this nail salon is the choice of nail polish colors - they have so many nude shades (pink and brown tones) that I love!!! It's so hard to find the perfect nude or neutral color, so I loved their choices. One thing I didn't know is that tip is cash only... Thankfully I had cash floating around in my purse, but I'd feel super bad if I didn't! Overall, my nails look super good and I love the color! I'm excited to go back and get a full manicure with it.

I am typically not one to splurge on a gel manicure. I pride myself on my home manicures, because I am type-A and you better believe I want things looking perfect. But it was a girls night, and I wanted a fun mani to last me while we went to AZ. And, I wanted bright white so I thought it was best done by professionals. I chose Twin City Nails based on other reviews, and I was impressed. We made appointments, and despite being busy we were all settled in right away. I warned the manicurist that I am a bit of a perfectionist, and she did a great job with the polish. The only knock (which is a big contributor to any service experience) is that she was very harsh and rough on my nails. Hard filing, rough buffing and overall a bit abrasive in the process. It felt very rushed and not at all relaxing. Cold water to soak my nails, and I was a bit tense during the whole process. Bummer. That said, everything looks great and I am crossing my fingers these beauties last me 2 weeks - if so, then it was still worth it even with the less-than-peaceful process. Better than most places I have been!

I went here last night and Heidi was so meticulous with my mani/pedi. Always go for gel on my nails, lasts three weeks! The price is pretty reasonable compared to happy nails in ep. I will be back after my vacation to see her again!

Regular mani right after I got them done

My daughter and I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Excellent service and friendly manicurist!

I worked with Alisha and she was very friendly, not to mention she speaks perfect English so that was a plus.

Located in a small strip of local businesses there is plenty of free parking but the lot does get busy with shopping traffic! Diepy hit it out of the park on my second return (chrome green)! I've never been a regular nail girl but have been to dozens of salons for special occasions over the years. After years of crappy nails, I've decided to treat myself to something nice. Initially, I did a walk-in on a Sunday to remove work done elsewhere and get a new set of dip. The service was fine. The person who did my nails (purple) seemed to be in a hurry but was very nice -- I think my walk-in screwed up their schedule. The layers on my nails were sufficiently thinner and way more natural than the outside work I came with, which I appreciated. After about a week I noticed a hairline crack on my pointer finger, which turned into a full crack after a few days. Super bummed the set only lasted 2 weeks. I made an appointment for about 3 weeks later. Definitely recommend making an appointment! Diepy did such a good job manicuring my fingers and dipping my nails. She could tell I'm right hand dominate based on the growth and wearing of my nails. She took her time to make sure to reinforce the apex and tips with a base coat on top of the colored powder and smoothed the coating to perfection. No lump, bumps, or globs here! I then got treated to a cute photoshoot for my hands, which really boosted my confidence. I also received a gift of handcream for my birthday!! I think it was the best service I've ever had on a full set and at a great price ($53 for dip, $10 for chrome + tip). They had great relaxing spa music playing and fun HGTV shows on the TV. Im happy to have found a great nail salon right in my neighborhood! This second service solidified my love for DK!!

I got a dip/powder manicure here a few weeks ago, which turned out nice!…read more Returned today to have them removed and just regular manicure done, and it was HORRIBLE. I obviously didn't expect perfection from a strip mall place like this, but she did a terrible job. Barely trimmed cuticles, left rough edges on the tip, no cuticle oil. I rarely leave reviews, let alone bad reviews, but this was genuinely awful. Avoid this place.

I think if you have a trusted nail tech you'll be in good hands, walk ins might not get great treatment. I got gel on my hands and feet and had to have them fix it because they didn't push back my cuticle at all. Even after having them "fix" it, after 4 days it looks like my nails have been grown out 2 weeks. Not worth paying for Gel to have it look days old walking out of the salon. You also don't get an emailed receipt and I noticed as they were ringing me up an additional charge for $15. I confirmed the pricing standard gel mani/pedi when I got home. I believe they added a gel polish removal charge, I only had some remaining chipped regular nail polish when they brought equipment to soak off and I told them it wasn't necessary it was regular polish and she quickly got it off with a swipe of acetone (regular polish is not an additional charge to remove). Without the receipt I can't validate this is what the charge was for, but something to watch out for!
