Lucky Supermarket Fried Chicken on our buffet line at home for a birthday party, perfectly done!
Emy B.

This review is solely on Lucky's fried chicken. Why go anywhere else?! I mean, it's really good. Need 250 pieces for a really big party? The folks at Lucky will get that ready for you on your pick up day and time for pre-orders. When we picked up our big order every piece was super hot, moist, and was a huge hit at our party. You can't go wrong feeding a lot of people with this and it really is tasty, not too salty or too much batter. Leftover fried chicken also heats up really well in your oven or air fryer. A bit of advice though...make sure you call the morning of picking up your order to make sure they get your order right. We initially ordered 250 pieces wanting to pick it all up by 4:00pm, but they mistakenly only had 150 ready by that time. We had to come back at 5:30pm to get our full order. But mistakes happen and thankfully they were able to get it all done in the next 1-1/2 hours.

Chicken Tenders Platter made to order $29.99
Jennifer C P.

Party Platters. I received an email a while ago promoting custom cakes and party platters so I used their easy online ordering system. For Fathers Day the cake I wanted for my husband could not be made in time so the bakery phoned me to let me know but also to allow me the opportunity to choose a cake they had available so I would not be without a cake. The party platters were fresh and delicious! My only feedback is I wish there was an option for organic crudités and fruit platters to start. Can you imagine organic free range chicken pieces and organic sandwiches with boars head nitrate and hormone free meats/cheeses? I say try organic fruit and veggies first and see how customers respond. The platters are so affordable and plentiful - I am grateful. I would pay more for organic My husbands birthday cake was such a hit! Again, the bakery phoned me, which I appreciate, to let me know the photo I uploaded with the order was not the right size. I had my daughter drop off a printout. The cake was excellent, everyone loved the photo and it was gone before I could have a slice. I recommend Lucky for their great party platters and custom cakes. While we aren't completely out of the woods with Covid, we can still have small parties with the vaccinated ones we love living under one roof. I know Lucky's is a corporation, but the staff really make the effort to provide excellent service and help. The staff at Luckys work hard to put out a quality product, at a good price and it shows! Fiver.

The bakery department is our favorite - of course my son loves their chocolate donut with sprinkles or mini m&m's!

I ordered the carrot soup and my friend got the egg salad toast. My soup came in a really generous bowl, so generous that I actually had leftovers to take home. It was comforting and flavorful, and perfect for a lighter meal. I also ordered a lavender latte that was absolutely delicious. For dessert we shared the princess cake, which was definitely the highlight. The whipped cream layer was so light and airy and balanced perfectly with the cake. It wasn't overly sweet. Overall it was a really enjoyable lunch and we both agreed we'd definitely come back to try more things on the menu.

Breakfast sandwhich with added sausage patty was small but super fresh ingredients and solid. The deviled eggs were different than your usual bbq eggs. Different tasting but good. The caramel sticky bun was good but little too sticky for me. The pistachio/strawberry donut like pastry was good. All of the staff were nice and helpful.

Im super impressed that the ingredients were listed on each of the baked goods. As someone with multiple food sensitivities this is SO appreciated. I tried multiple items since I don't live close by. The shortbread / iced heart cookie was beautiful in presentation & taste. Crispy and delicious. I also ordered the meatloaf Sami. Very tasty & the bread was very moist. My family enjoyed sharing the chocolate stout cup cake. Wow! So moist and delicious. Lastly the coffee cake. I'm saving that one for later- and hope it's as good as I remembered. Clean & neat establishment, and helpful staff. They were able to answer each of my questions to help me avoid certain ingredients. It also helped they have items marked vegan, nut free options etc. highly recommend. Note: I arrived after the lunch hour so a lot of things were sold out- but still epic choices.

EDITED: Stephanie is refunding a portion of the cake fee, very good customer service! Once again!…read more Thank you! I started out my search for Starbucks themed sugar cookies, and Stephanie came highly recommended by several people in our community. Upon finding out she did cakes, I mentioned to my daughter in law that she could maybe do a cake, and she contracted with her to do so. The cookies were delicious, as was the cake. It's hard to find someone to make anything with the Starbucks logo, which we completely understand. Who wants to get sued by Starbucks, right? So, she agreed to make the cookies shaped like coffee cups with coffee decor; and she nailed it. She also made a frappuccino cake (standing) - and offered to drive up when me met for pick up because it was sliding, and she wanted to be sure it was going to make it to the party; and also do do some touch ups on the decorating. Stephanie and her family drove from Novato to Santa Rosa and delivered the cake. It was an expensive cake. $120.00 ... and about twenty minutes or so after she left the room, we all left to play laser tag; upon returning, we saw that the top half of the cake was gone, it slipped off and fell behind the table. :/ I did send Stephanie a photo of the cake. There were also misspellings on the cookies of the word "coffee" that I didn't notice until after the cake fell apart. Let me say, it was delicious!!! The cake was melt in your mouth moist, the icing was delicious and the cookies were too!!! I know that there was a family emergency two days before our order was due; and stress can have a negative effect on all of us. I would recommend her to others, I mean, baking is a constantly evolving process and my Granddaughter hates fondant; so that was all buttercream icing on a standing cake, instead of a sheet cake shaped like a cup of coffee. Four stars to Stephanie and her kind family, and extremely polite children!! Thank you for helping our family make Amaya's party a dream come true.

Started searching online for a place I could order one. I checked out the website and was thrilled to see it on the list! It was so easy (I loved being able to just text her and sort it out), the pie was delicious, I could cross one more thing off my list, and the bf was THRILLED. Wins all around! Absolutely using Stephanie again for the next special event. :)

Seriously, you might think pie is pie, but no, there's pie, and then there's pie from Petaluma Pie Company. Friendly employee and clean area outside the shop is well. So that's good. Regardless, this place is a must-try!

I Spy With My Little Pie…read more This farm-to-table, locally-owned pie shop has been serving up both sweet and savory pie creations in Downtown Petaluma since 2010. They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!
