They have good food and drinks are nice. Service is good and the ambiance is nice. Sometimes we like to sit on the patio and that's great.

We order the fisherman's choice with fried grouper which has always been a large fillet of fish. Tonight we received about half a filet. When we mentioned it, we were offered a 15% discount. Service was lacking. Never offered refills. Needless to say, they lost customers tonight. read more

After avoiding Sorrento's for a year, we decided to give it a try after hearing some positive things. To our surprise, it was pretty good. We ate on the deck and the service was great. We played it safe with the grouper and a burger. They were both very good. And just like the previous Harbor Restaurant, they have the coldest beer on the lake. read more

Met friends for lunch here today. Overall, a disappointing experience. The beer was warm and the fish was cold and served without lemon. Not an auspicious introduction to what was, for us, a new restaurant. When I ordered coffee with cream to accompany my dessert, it was served with milk, and I was informed that the restaurant has no cream. Really? That's just sad. The robot server left us shaking our heads in disgust, especially when it rolled out a tinny rendition of "Happy Birthday" for the benefit of another diner. Our living, breathing, human server wasn't bad, and we enjoyed the newer, cleaner decor, but the food was definitely underwhelming, and that's mainly why I go out to eat. I can make better food at home. At my house, the food is hot, the beer is cold, and there's cream for the coffee. Ya'll can do better. read more

I dined on the sirloin and lobster tail with asparagus & mashed potatoes. My wife had the mussels. Both were excellent, the lobster was not over cooked and the steak was spot on. All sides were very well prepared. Excellent meals all around. read more

Our waitress and the awesome tasting food made the experience PERFECT. Yummy! We ate Chicken Fettuccine and Green Salmon with asparagus and salad and beef Lasagna plus a decadent chocolate cake slice! Oh my we could not stop eating! This place had a great view of the marina! Terrible !! Slow, 90 minuets to get a house salad, forgot dressing, waitress did not know the difference between French and Italian. Later the main course was brung out but no sides, 20 minutes later still no sides. Overall a horrible experience. Would not recommend this place read more

Awful service, didn't even make it to the food. Came in with a larger party with multiple children & two babies under 6 months. We were placed in a patio area with no working air conditioning, it was 82 degrees and no fans or air flow. After asking our super sweet waitress if we could move inside, Griselda told us we could move inside. As soon as we took our seats, Jessica, who I guess is a manager (???) came in & started yelling at the waitress & rudely told us we couldn't move, despite the fact that we already ordered our food & we had multiple BABIES who couldn't handle the heat. She told us the inside tables were already accounted for, even though when we called MULTIPLE times ahead we were told by a male that we couldn't make reservations? Nothing made sense. She did not attempt to try to solve the issue for us, did not attempt to relocate us anywhere else with working air conditioning, & did not care that we ended up leaving before receiving our food. The place could definitely use some new management if that's who's running the place. That poor waitress was sweet as pie & only wanted to help us & our babies. It's a shame, as the place could really have potential. Unfortunately we won't be going back. read more

This place is newly open so still working out the kinks I'm sure. We went Saturday around 3 which is late for lunch early for dinner and the place sadly was kind of empty but the lake was empty too because of debris issues even. But our food was excellent and served fast. Grouper fingers, cheese fries , fajitas and their cheesy rice were all very good! I hope this place gets a better following ! read more

All was good. We had queso and fried pickles (spears) to start. And some draft beers. Dinner grouper sandwich and chicken fajitas was excellent. Service was just fine he was running everywhere so they could have been understaffed as the place is huge. But we were well taken care of. Sat on the patio view of the water and under $100 with tip. People need to get over the style of restaurant it is whether it's Mexican Italian American whatever.... It's good and our service of 6 was served promptly. It was during the day so that helped. I had the. Grouper sandwich. It's the same grouper sandwich. I would say they will do well. One thing, with a name like Sorrentos offer limoncello. If you're looking for a great restaurant atmosphere you won't be sorry. I didn't get any pictures because I was starving and wolfed it down. read more

Great Food. Excellent Service. Beautiful view. I had the butter salmon and lobster tail with mashed potatoes and california vegetables and they bring it out with a garlic butter sauce made from scratch- so good!!! I'm going to dream about this meal forever. The view of the lake is so relaxing and the fresh cool air as you eat delicious food is unmatched by any other place in town. The service is excellent. It is a family business where the people care about doing things right. They have a variety of food to choose from and everything I've had was yummy. Highly recommend. read more

We ate on the deck yesterday for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Our server had a lot of tables but was still attentive and did a great job. We ordered the fried mushrooms and the alfredo and tiger shrimp and all was great! Can't believe they've only been open a couple of weeks. Look forward to going back. read more

Great food and loved Bella the server! We had grouper and it was very good. Service was good, would go back again.

We are from Ohio and were camping by Cumberland Lake. We boated to the restaurant and there is a shuttle at the bottom of the hill that will take you to the top to the restaurant. The 4 of us all had the grouper with mashed potatoes and salad and it was excellent. We then had the best cheesecake I've ever eaten. We were pleasantly surprised by how great the meal was and at a reasonable price. Jeremy was our server and he was awesome - very attentive and friendly. We were there late afternoon on Saturday and while our dining area wasn't very full, there were lots of diners on the level overlooking the water. We highly recommend the restaurant and look forward to eating there again when we return next year! Good luck!! read more
