It was lively without being overly crowded when we first arrived, although it got much busier later in the evening. When we walked in, we looked around and eventually seated ourselves because there was no hostess, waiter, bartender, or anyone around to direct us. We waited for quite a while without really knowing if we were supposed to order somewhere or if someone was going to come to the table. I took my daughter to the restroom and there was no paper available to dry our hands. I walked to the main register to ask for napkins or paper towels, but they didn't have any either, so I ended up walking back toward the restaurant area to grab a napkin. After waiting at the table for so long, I actually called the restaurant from my phone to ask if they were still serving food or if someone was going to come over. Shortly after, someone finally approached us and explained that they had been busy taking an order over by the bowling lanes. It definitely seemed like they were short-staffed and everyone was covering different areas. I understand that happens, but as a guest it was confusing because there was no direction and we didn't know who was supposed to be helping us. The menu was okay--not a huge selection, but we found things everyone wanted. We ordered loaded nachos, boneless chicken wings, corn dogs, a few beers, and two iced teas. The food was good and our server was okay, but the interaction felt more like taking our order than actual hospitality. He never asked if it was our first visit, explained how things worked, or recommended anything. Our kids were also never offered refills on their iced teas. After eating, we closed our tab and went to the arcade. The games were fun overall, although a few took our credits without actually working. We had to ask for assistance, but they did return the credits, which we appreciated. They also have bowling, which was pretty packed by the time we left, and we tried the laser tag. Laser tag was actually a lot of fun! My only complaint there was that the employee running it was not very friendly and gave very little explanation about how to put on or use the equipment. When you have families with younger kids, a little patience and guidance goes a long way. Overall, the atmosphere is fun and there's plenty to keep both kids and adults entertained. We enjoyed ourselves once we got into the activities, but the hospitality and organization need some improvement. A little more communication, friendliness, and attention to guests would make the entire experience much better.

We did cosmic bowling that had a set cost $20 per person and that included shoes and unlimited bowling until they closed. They offer burgers, hot dogs, french fries and pizza just to list some options. They also have a small bar area and they have beers and a few other drink option.

Definitely frustrating when you go to a normal bowling alley and all they have are leagues so I highly recommend if you want to bowl to come here and try and get one of their lanes. What else we did was the black light wizard golf, a nine hole very quick putt putt experience that had entertaining decor that reminded me a lot of Harry Potter themes, but just on this side of copyrights. My husband and I finished the nine hole mini golf in about 12 minutes and there was a mix of challenging and easy on the course. Definitely more for kids or families with small children, but still fun if you want to do some putt putt as part of a date night or with friends. They have about 29 games to play and you can redeem tickets for prizes. They have laser tag but we didn't try it so no review to offer there. I do want to say I saw a two lane Small Children bumper bowl lanes with the petite balls for small kids' hands! Totally great for your mini-me's!

It's a cute location in a cute area; it had such a fun, authentic vibe outside and in. We came in and wanted to get straight to bowling, and the staff member who set us up was helpful and friendly. The alley area is pretty small, as it's only four lanes. But while I'm sure that could be a disappointment on a crowded night, we found the small size to be conducive to chatting with each other as we played. It's definitely different from standard bowling: you don't wear bowling shoes, the pins are attached to strings that pull them up (as opposed to freestanding pins at a standard alley), and you use smaller, hole-free balls. You also get three throws per frame as opposed to two. I'm not good at bowling, and I'm -- so far -- not good at the duck pin variant. But I didn't find it frustrating, just fun to learn and play! I managed no strikes and a whopping one spare, although I did find the advice posted on the walls helped me get a bit better. I think there is a type of person (someone who takes bowling seriously, or maybe too seriously) who wouldn't enjoy this, but it's really entertaining if you can go in with a good mindset. And not having to find shoes or bowling balls that fit is a huge plus. As far as timing, it took us about an hour and 15 minutes to play two full games; we didn't rush, but we didn't daddle, either. They charge by the hour or half hour, and we paid for our first hour then added a half hour to finish out a second game. A couple who came in about halfway through our visit managed to just squeeze in 10 frames in 30 minutes. We didn't explore the (intriguing) upstairs area, but I did get a fabulous drink -- the Saturn -- at the bar. While I felt like the bowling was a little pricey (not unreasonably priced, to be clear, just something I couldn't afford quite as often), I was surprised at the great value of the drink. Plus, it was delicious -- super well-balanced -- and the bartender was lovely. Even outside of the bowling fun, I could see this being a regular hangout for me if I lived in the area. But even though it's more than an hour from home for me, I'll absolutely take family and friends up to visit when I can. It's an awesome place to have in the region.
