Came here for the first time for their free Members Only party, which included free apps, free shoe rental, and a free game of bowling. It was held on a weeknight but a surprisingly large number of people showed up. Started at around 7PM, I wish the staff was more clear about how you could just start a game right away because once more people started coming in and adding their names to the lanes it took forever to get through rounds. The facility is really clean, like the arcade games look nearly brand new and the bathroom is huge w/ many stalls. I didn't get to play any arcade games but it looked fun and like there was a more diverse selection than at D&B. Apps were decent, just chips & salsa/nacho cheese, finger food-size meatballs, and a tomato cheese pizza and spinach white pizza. The cheese on the pizza was super salty for whatever reason but edible. I found a large shiny piece of aluminum foil on the bottom of a meatball before eating it, which wasn't ideal. They had a nice ambiance at night, might be worth checking out another time! read more

This review is for my dining experience at Lucky Strike. Went there on an early Sat afternoon, place was quiet with only a handful of people seated at the booths. My friends and I waited at the host podium expecting someone to direct us to seats. Noone is around, except the bartender mere feet from us. Apparently, he didn't think it was worthwhile to greet guests or give pointers on where to sit. Another server walks by and also pays no mind. No signs or wayfinding either. Hungry and set on playing some arcade games, we decide to seat ourselves. Again bartender and servers noticed us but ignored our table. That or they expected us to flag them down by ESP communication. As a last resort I had to walk up to what looked like the lone server providing any service there to tell him my table was ready to order. To his credit, he was prompt and friendly and apologized for the wait. I felt bad because I don't like haranguing staff to demand service and it wasnt his fault. I counted 3 people who passed us by without bothering to greet or help - that's totally unacceptable in this industry. A few other groups ended up walking out after waiting. This place has massive service gaps and really needs to tighten up with so many walkouts and their dollars leaving with them. Food itself was decent if on the pricey side. All in all, back of the house gets good marks but front of the house and bartenders should be embarassed at the poor service. read more

Been there two times. Honestly they need a manager who knows what he/she is doing. There were big expectations for this place and they unfortunately have been a huge let down. 1. Dinners and apps are just plain bad. The apps are super small. The dinners are a C at best. 2. The drinks are weak. We've now tried a half dozen drinks. They all barely taste of alcohol. Below average. Unfortunate. 3. The bowling lanes lean to the left. The two far right lanes lean left. I bowl a lot and I know it. I fee bad for them because I don't think there's anything they can do about it at this point because the building is built but whoever built it screwed up. Fact. If you want to validate this, watch everyone bowling. 80-90% of everyone's bowls lean left. It's almost comical. 4. The arcade is awesome. They did well there. 5. The bar staff is good. 6. The signage. Why did they not put it higher!?!? Come on guys. Super rookie move. When you look out of the windows you look directly at the black back of the sign instead of assembly. Just foolish. Overall. Super underwhelming. Food is just plain bad. Drinks are below average. Service is average. Just really unfortunate. An update - Lucky strike got wise to the $20 will take you through the whole night experience and added additional pay walls in all the games. Second visit also found multiple games glitching/out of order. We also tried the food this time and the portions were SO SMALL! Even for me! I had to get a burrito on the way home. They still have an excellent beer selection, but I made the mistake of trying the maple old fashioned. It reminded me of something I had once in college - in the worst way. Very disappointing turn of events. __________________ If you're coming expecting excellent food and drinks then go somewhere else. But, if you want a full and varied bar and classic pub food paired with a good time then give Lucky Strike a chance. It's a nice change from the typical stand around and drink kind o I went on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. The lines for bowling, life size shuffleboard, and the bar were long (deducting a star for excessive bar lines - staff enough bartenders!) That aside, with approximately $20 on your play card you can enjoy a ton of games including riding fake motorcycles, shooting hoops, skeeball, shooting dinosaurs or ghosts, throwing balls at clowns, driving on a fake racetrack, and quite a few more with friends. It's fun with a smaller group here because you'll mostly end up separated across the floor. I could see it potentially getting overcrowded as it gets more popular, but we didn't have much of a wait to play any games. read more

Completely understaffed, particularly the bar, and dirty. We went around lunch time one Saturday afternoon, and could not get a bartender to pour us a drink. Once we did, and needed to close out, we waited another 10-15 minutes to get a bartender's attention. They were completely overworked and needed help, but one employee, who appeared to be a manager when clearing out the receipts from the register, was completely oblivious and didn't help out. The eating area is pretty disgusting as well, most of the tables weren't bussed and were sitting empty with dirty plates and glasses. I really wanted to like it here, I really did. I've been here twice now and honestly, there isn't much here to be desired. Upon coming here, my first impression was that it was very new and loved the layout of it. It is a huge space shared with bowling lanes, arcades, the bar, and cabana. It honestly felt like a place I could hang out until 2am. However, after playing some arcade games, this place got boring really quick. What makes me enjoy arcades is the win ratio that we get out of paying overpriced tokens/points for. A game that is 5 points barely gives us enough tickets to win prizes. I obviously know that the actual prizes that we redeem aren't great, but it still feels good knowing that we are winning 100 some tickets (whether it amounts to something small or nothing at all). In addition, there aren't all that much games compared to Dave and Busters. With D&B having more options and more potential ticket wins per game, Lucky Strike cannot compare. I am already iffy on places like D&B, but it still feels good once in a while to spend money on arcade games that give some type of satisfaction. I also do not recommend people playing the coin drop game. When I first came here in September, they used actual coins that had weight. However, I came here a month ago and the coins are all PLASTIC, which means NO coins will drop (well maybe 1 or 2). Honestly, the coin drop is my favorite arcade game and I cannot believe they can't even do it right. As if arcade games weren't a ripoff already, Lucky Strike adds a whole new level of ripoff. At this point, I am just rambling, but you guys get the point. Zero satisfaction on games. Throughout one of the nights, my Lucky Strike card kept bugging out too. My groups have also inquired about the bowling lanes which was closed when we got there. Understandable. But I wonder why it is always empty? My friend recommended this spot for drinks. Similar to Dave n Busters, definitely that crowd. I was a bit hesitant but Hey why not. Tried doing just drinks at the bar and that didn't go too well. Asked for a table and although our waitress was attentive there wasn't much she can do as to why drinks took 20min to arrive, appetizer 25min. Overall, bring your kids, go with your college buddies or if you have the energy to wait in line for games, food & drink and admire the decor, Check it out! Ugh. I had high hopes for this place. Three main things that I could easily be attracted to this place: 1) I love bowling 2) I live 10 min walk from here and 3) I like some good bar food and great drinks! 1st time I can here.. same week they opened.. just walked around to check it out. Really great size place, although you have to walk upstairs right when you get in for the main entertainment, we went to the bar and had some pretty good drinks. Decent for this type of place. We also we pretty hungry and ordered a couple apps and a pizza. Honestly, I love food. I'll pretty much eat anything. And I wasn't expecting top notch bar food... but they didn't even come close. He cold was below decent. Really disappointing. We ordered easy things like wings and pizza. Second visit, knowing they into had 8 lanes, we went in in a Wednesday night just about 2/3 weeks open now. Slow night. Went the bowling alley. I am a frequent bowler, lane 2 we had a feeling was a in/even floor.. the other lanes around us seemed to suffer the same. I'm curious about that lol. Anyways, we bowl..order drinks.. service was slow, there was only 6 people bowling at the time... drinks tasted like juice.. and food took forever to get there. Food was disappointing AGAIN. I'm here right now with a total group of six. For starters, this is a bowling alley with hardly any lanes. They say that while we wait, get dinner and they'll let us know when all set. Ok fine. As dinner gets served to us - we get a text our lane is open. Now - this puts us in a bad spot. We go and ask the girl at the bowling alley if we can cash out and eat over there and she laughed and said no. This now makes me laugh and give a one star yelp review. The waitstaff were perfectly nice and my review is restricted to one area of Lucky Strike's many offerings: the kids' birthday parties. Be sure and read the fine print and ask lots of questions when you reserve - I foolishly neglected this critical step! Our package deal included video game cards that lasted about 30 minutes for the 12 kids participating. We ended up having to refill their cards 2-3 times each to keep them busy. Went here with my girls for a good time let's just say it wasn't as fun as we anticipated. We got there and had to wait a half hour for our lane. We had a party of at least 6 people and that was the fastest bowling round I've ever experienced. We wanted to play again on the same lane and we told we would have to wait another 30 mins as they had other people waiting for the lane .... yet there were no other patrons in sight. Cool so we order another round of drinks... which took 30 mins to get there because the waitress who was on our section left and told no one about our our order, so we had to re-order with a different server . Went to this place for drinks and burgers and both my son and I got food poison. My son only took one bite out of his chicken burger cause it was bad and no one asked why so we still payed for the poison. They got swamped at about 9 and apparently the bar tenders can't handle the stress that came along. Strike out and not so lucky .... never to return. I read the positive and negative reviews. Saw the corporate / owner responses with "taking" the yelp reviews back to the "team". Don't bother with this review and we certainly do not need $10 of "game tickets". Well....we took our chance - arrived at 5pm - we were informed it would be a 30 min wait for a lane to be available - ok reasonable -right? Eat and drink while you wait - ....40 min , 45 min, etc....no call or no update....etc. Went to inquire and we were told "unfortunately" the corporate party attendees extended the use of the lane for another hour. And just like that..........no courteous customer service action to let us know.....that "we were pushed out". It was explained to us that corporate parties are a priority because of the $$$$$ they bring in . They do not inform the average people about this priority because they can't a chance with educating people - about this "3rd world service" and RISK not have them not show up when there are no "corporate" parties - because most often it is quiet. This decision is from Lucky Strike Corp. office. Lucky Strike Corporation - think of the average folks when you need to close your sites. Never ate here, never plan to. Probably similar to DnB style/type of food anyways. The games are dope, location is excellent since i live in the area, and prices are not bad, since they are about the same as half-priced games from DnB. Prizes are similar, but maybe a little bit more difficult to acquire since the games that offer the tickets are not as generous with their jackpots. Pinball selection is fire and having 2 levels is pretty cool too (though the first floor never seems to be open). read more

This is a very unique restaurant. Well it's more of a restaurant/Dave and Buster's Mashup (with infinitely better food). My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the Pork Bahn Mi Bao sandwich (there's a chicken version if you have a pork... aversion) The gaming section upstaris is very "busy"... if you're not into that kind of thing there's a much more low key area downstairs. My only real gripe with the gaming section is the weirdness of the "Points on a card" system, especially since all the games take a very random amount of points. read more

I didn't expect much from Lucky Strike. But it was worse than I would imagined. Lanes are dark and expense! $17 a person, including small children?!? The food service was by far the worst. The chef should google search Pimento Cheese, what lucky strike is trying to pass off is worse than any queso I've ever encountered. We asked for a simple cheese pizza which the waitress forgot to put in and then tried to pass off as 'busy kitchen'. When it arrives it smelt of bbq sauce. Really? How hard is it to make a cheese pizza. But to cap off the shitty meal, the waitress claimed I was being rude when I disputed why there was fee for cheese---on a grilled cheese sandwich. This was my first time coming here with my family and we did not have a good experience, the night of December 28th. We waited over a half an hour for a waiter / waitress to come to our table to take our order. You can look at the menu online but cannot order from your phone. We looked around constantly to get someone's attention and no serving staff came to our table, they went to all the others except ours. We only had our lane for an hour so at the point of 30 minutes passing one of us went to the bar to order drinks and a plate of nachos. The nachos finally came out when there was 9 minutes remaining on our lane. At this point it had been more than 50 minutes, no serving staff had even come over to greet us and we waited the whole time for food and drinks. When our nachos were given to us we kept asking the staff for water and napkins and they kept saying they would not get us any since they are only a buser, they were finally able to flag down a member of the serving staff for us and bring her over. When the serving staff member finally came over we questioned why she never came over to even greet us and told her we were waiting to order for an hour now at this point. She said she assumed we didn't need anything since she saw us go to the bar, gave a member of my family an attitude for asking these questions and just walked away. We came here to spend time together as a family, have a few snacks and drinks and a majority of the time wasn't even spent focusing on bowling since we were waiting for someone to come over. read more

There's no host, you need to find an available table to sit down (meaning looking at people that are at the tables and standing there until someone decides to leave and you rush to the table). Servers run back and forth but no one comes to the table. We waited 35 minutes to be helped. Drinks took forever and tasted awful! Food is over priced, small portions and does NOT taste good at all! I went there the other day to celebrate a personal victory and I had a great time. The atmosphere is fun my server Brian he had a beard was exceptional. I honestly can't remember the last time I had a server that was good enough to move me to go out of my and leave a yelp review. If I knew his schedule I would know what days to come in. Most other servers seem too interested in what's happening on their phone rather than their customers tables. Food came out fast and hot. Quality of food was good and the drinks were on point and I never had an empty glass. Definitely will be back. Just wish I knew what day that server was working. This is a fun place to hang out. The games are all well-maintained, including the pinball machines (and as someone who plays a fair amount of pinball I can tell you that well-maintained pinball machines are fairly rare). The staff is helpful, the atmosphere is chill and the bowling lineup is organized well. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a lane. I love to come here with my partner but I imagine it's a good spot for groups as well - lots of space and multiplayer games. The food is on par with Dave & Busters. read more

Low rating because waiters/bartenders were terrible. They ignore you, make eye contact with you and turn away while you're crazy trying to get their attention. We waited 45 minutes (!!!!) to order a drink AT THE BAR. I was so appalled and disgusted by the attitude of the staff and honestly rudeness (I am kind to staff even if I'm angry, so it was just their overall attitude to everyone), and the food really sucks but I chose very well with the nacho tower, the 1 good thing on the menu. Came here today to celebrate my little cousins birthday. I've came here before and it was amazing, but today was ridiculous. I walked up to the bar with my fiancé and little brother to order a simple Coca Cola. There was barely anyone sitting at the bar. It wasn't busy. The blonde bartender just passes by us multiple times not saying anything. I just thought oh maybe she's attending someone else I'll let her finish and maybe she'll come back, but no. Just stares at us and ignores us. We're clearly there to order something. About 5-8 mintues have gone by and then two other gentlemen came and sat at the bar. By now one of my cousins joined us. She comes back and continues with them. EVEN AFTER THEY POINTED OUT THAT I WAS THERE FIRST AND THAT SHE SHOULD HElP US FIRST. She refused and said she'll start with them and work down. I walked away that's ridiculous. She also had some attitude too. Before she decided to ignore us and help the gentlemen my cousin politely said "excuse me" and with some attitude replies back " I'll get to you soon". Don't know why she had an attitude or ignored us for so long , but it was so unprofessional. I'm not the type to write reviews in fact this is the first review I've ever written, but this experience pissed me off. After reading some more reviews it looks like this a reoccurring issue with the bar. Honestly she should get retrained. If you hate your job or have some issues going on in your life don't take it out on the customers. This place isn't bad for a hang out spot to grab drinks and play some games or bowl. However, their customer service isn't great. The bar area is under staffed. We shouldn't have to wait ten minutes to try and get a drink especially if it isn't that crowded. Also, I got overcharged for my drinks. I called the next day, customer service took down my number said they'll call me back after researching but it's been a week now and still no follow up. The over charge is minor but that's besides the point. It's the principle of me being over charged and I shouldn't have to pay what I didn't sign to pay. I had the receipt and everything still and yet I don't know why my card was over charged. Not even a sorry we over charged you or nothing. Horrible customer service! That was my first time and probably my last as I would rather go to Dave and Busters or King's for a night out like that. read more

I went to Lucky Strike for a work event yesterday at 2 pm and ended up having friends come out and staying until around 10:30 pm. This place is so awesome! It's huge and everything is clean and well maintained. There are TONS of games, the food was really good, and the drinks were great. We didn't do shuffleboard or bowling, so we'll have to check that out for next time. We were impressed with their reasonable prices--unusual for an arcade! We were able to do a lot without spending our entire paychecks on gameplay. The cherry on top was the exceptional service we received. The writing of this review was inspired by our awesome waitperson, Lindsay, who was so friendly, kind, attentive, and patient. Everything about Lindsay's service was above and beyond--we even asked to talk to the manager so we could formally recognize Lindsay's hard work. It's worth mentioning that the manager, whose name I sadly did not get, was also really friendly and great. After the manager let us know that employees benefit from being mentioned in Yelp reviews, we asked some of the other rad staff who had been so great with us for their names in order to recognize them as well. Matt, Dave, and Judy at the bar were so cool, patient, and helpful and made us top notch drinks. We were having issues with a couple of machines and Dylan helped us so much--he was professional but also joked with us and went above and beyond to very quickly resolve the problem. We also would love to recognize the young man who was working in the prize shop around 4 pm--I didn't get a chance to ask his name, but I remember he had cool triangle earrings. My coworkers were being friendly but definitely more than a little rowdy and demanding and this individual was exceptionally patient, helpful, and professional. Our experience overall was great. We had so much fun and will definitely be back. Beyond the specific names mentioned here, every staff member with whom we interacted was just really superb. It would have been a fun time no matter what, but it was made so much better by the staff's positive energy and hard work. Thank you all so much! read more

Me and a group of three other people started our evening for dinner. Our plan was that we were going to have dinner and Wait for our friends to join us at the bar. We got there with an hour to spare before our friends would arrive. It was about five or 6 o'clock when we arrived. Service was horrible. There weren't a ton of people there at the time and it took us about 10 minutes to get our menus, it took us another 10 minutes to get our drinks and my boyfriend received the wrong drink. We let our server know and we ended up waiting for his drink (doctor pepper) for about 40 minutes until she remembered. The food was not special. Three of us didn't mind our food and the least picky of all four of us ended up not eating his cheeseburger because it didn't taste good. All in all it took us about 45 minutes to get our food from the time we order putting us at a full hour until we received our food from the time we got there. We are just began eating when the first of our friends began arriving and we asked to put out a larger table since we were all just beginning our meal... also our appetizer came out at the same time as our food so by the time we were done eating it, our dinner was cold. We ended up adding four more people to our new bigger table and we decided to only get one check to make our servers life a little easier. It took forever for us to get drinks whether they were alcoholic or not. It took us about 20 minutes of flagging her down to be able to our check so we can move onto games. Went here for my birthday. I tried to reserve tables or lanes ahead of time. The only way you can do that is by buying ridiculous packages that do not actually give you what you want. We risked going there, because there is a ton of parking, it's centrally located and there are lots of things to do. It would have been amazing if they could get their service in order. We sat by the bowling area, but were not allowed to order from the servers there, because we weren't at a lane, even though we were waiting for one. We had to order from the bar and wait to get our food and then bring it back to our seats. Then a server came and helped half of us order by the bowling lane and not all of us. The bartender could not remember what we ordered and a server got an attitude when we tried to make sure they received an order of nachos. Most of the employees here do not care and it's a s***show without decent service. It could be fantastic, but unfortunately is not. Plus, the food is mediocre at best. read more

My expectations were low as they are whenever I visit assembly row, but man this place SUCKS. 7:30 on a Friday night and the place is absolutely dead. Took five minutes to find a hostess us to seat us, another 20 to place a drink order, and maybe 45 minutes to get food, which was mediocre at best. The TVs at the bar were playing Seinfeld, a replay of the Bruins game from the night before, and whatever is airing on NFL network on a Friday night. I asked them to tune one of the TVs to Fox for the much anticipated debut of WWE Smackdown but they said they couldn't because someone else had requested baseball. Wanted to play pool and was told 1 party was ahead of us then we would be up next....sadly as time passed and we asked how much longer until it was our turn we kept being told a different story. Bottom line this place is a total joke, the staff for pool looked lost, dazed, and confused as they tried to explain how the process works to play pool....do you wait 5 mins before calling the next party if they don't show up at all? How does this work ? To the staff these questions were as hard as rocket science..I truly feel bad for the two staff members that were in control on the pool operation since they clearly are not only failing at life have no idea what year it is, what time it is or if they are even alive...
