This was by far the worst massage experience my husband and I have ever had. The person who did my massage was also working the front desk, so she kept stopping the massage every time someone walked in. She also answered multiple phone calls during my session, which completely ruined the relaxing experience. On top of that, she suddenly left without even telling me the massage was done. I had to ask the other masseuse, who was working on my husband next to me, if my session was over. For my husband's massage, the masseuse started about 10 minutes late. His session didn't begin until around 6:20 PM and ended by 7:10 PM, even though we paid for a full 60-minute massage. We brought this up, but instead of acknowledging it, they still insisted that we tip $10 each. My husband and I love going to massage places and we are good tippers when the service is good, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I have visited Lucky Tree at least 3-4 times, and it's one of the best massage places I've ever been to. They only have female massage therapists, but all of them are very experienced and skillful. I need deep tissue/sport massage because my neck and shoulders are extremely tense and stiff, and these ladies always deliver the best treatments for me. I had a great experience here. My back has been suffering from knots due to wearing heavy backpack most days. So I made an appointment for an hour and cupping only for my back. The massage was not too hard on me and she was able to take out the knots . The cupping was a lot of pressure I felt and it was a little bit uncomfortable but overall it was alright . I don't often leave reviews, but I do often use them to research a place before I go, so I feel I must return the favor. I also don't often get massages, they have felt like too much of a luxury and when does one have the time or the money to spare? Recently, my back has felt off and I was in enough pain to go see a doctor who put one hand on my upper back and said "you need to be getting massages once a month." Prior to this, I hadn't thought of massage as a part of my muscular hygiene and instead thought I could get by with an acupressure mat and some stretching. Massages are for vacations, I thought. Well, today, my back was hurting terribly and I can't get in to the PT for weeks, so I decided today was the day I took the doc's advice. I found this place via online search, read some reviews, made an appointment same day while I was at work. I read some reviews that scared me about how I might receive the service if the place was busy. I can't speak to that aspect, because it wasn't that busy today or at least didn't seem so. The walls are thin, but I kind of liked that. I don't like spa vibes, it's daunting and feels 'froo-froo' in a way that I don't vibe with. This was so low key, just straight up business. I was led to a room immediately, no awkward lockers or robe etiquette to be mindful of. The masseuse did not explicitly tell me to disrobe, but you are going to have to do that (you can keep your underwear on if you're in a thong. YMMV with different coverage). There is a blanket on the bed for modesty and for warmth. I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage with cupping. 3/4ths of the way through, I thought "surely we've gone over time. The masseuse is just going above and beyond!" But all was said and done within 60 minutes after all. I couldn't believe it. She had paid so much attention to every part that needed it, and it never felt rushed or glossed over. I am deeply impressed. She also checked in throughout to make sure I wasn't too cold, that the pressure wasn't too hard, etc. Am I healed? No, but I didn't expect years of tightness and a pinched nerve deep within my back muscles to fully resolve in an hour. Do I feel better? Absolutely I do, and I'll be coming back. Maybe I'll do 90 minutes next time! Keep in mind that paying by card incurs a $2 fee, and Amex is not accepted. I like to tip in cash, so I'm not sure if you can do that by card, but I don't see why not. read more

My first time here and it was so worth it!! I was utterly and completely exhausted from an outing in Disneyland the other day. So much so that my feet were painfully sore from all the walking and waiting in line. I came here because of the good reviews, they were open early and walk-ins were available. They took me in right away. I chose the COMBO MASSAGE (30 MIN BODY + 30 MIN FEET). NANA was my masseuse and she did a wonderful job working out the knots and tension specifically in my neck, shoulders, and of course my aching feet! They had very soothing relaxing music so that helped me more relaxed and get my deep breathing in. Afterwards I was given a full bottle of water (not just a cup of water like some other places) to release the toxins. Added plus for the ample amount of parking spaces in the lot in front. I've been coming here once every 3-or-so months whenever I really felt like I needed it. I've had very good experiences so far, especially considering I've not booked appointments for any of my visits. I prefer deep tissue massages, and decided to try cupping here for the first time today. I spend all of work on my feet, and most of my time at the gym powerlifting, so I end up needing a strong massage in general. Thankfully, Misha has been able to to knead through my knots with great strength and skill. If you need a stronger massage I would suggest asking if she's available. I came to this place for the first time today. I got the 60 min package and it was 60 min of a waste. To begin with, next door was playing laud music, it was not relaxing whatsoever. My husband and I tried this place today. Parking spaces are a bit tight but we managed to find parking very quickly. This was our first time and so I made reservations via phone with Nancy. Upon entering we were shown a list of services and asked to pay cash. If you elected to pay with a card then you pay a $5 fees. This fee was not on their website and not mentioned when I called. I am always weary of cash only business. So if you decide to include a tip upfront on your credit card then I imagine that you will need to let them know your intentions. I did not ask if they accepted Zelle as payment. I had a Swedish massage with Tina and my husband had a deep tissue massage with Anna who originally greeted us and took our payment before the massages began. We were placed in different rooms. The barber shop next door is noisy and you can hear them through the wall but it did not bother me. You can still hear the relaxing music in the room. The beds were not heated so it was a bit cold in the room but it was bearable once the massage began. My husband said hay his toes were hold the entire time. Maybe in the summer, the room temperature will be better. These women work very hard so maybe the room temperature for them is perfect. We loved our massages and will return to this place. It is near the freeway and the staff is respectful and kind. The massage overall was very relaxing. I would recommend to make reservations before going.
